“As i walked in i was confused as to where to check in. There is no reception or welcome. I arrived a little early and eventually someone came out to greet me and checked me in. I used the restroom upon arrival and noticed as i walked through salon that stations were "curtained off" and shared w other clients and there is NO PRIVACY. I didn't like that. My service was relaxing and Rachel did a great job but it took a long time. Afterwards you're expected to leave w wet hair. What if it is cold outside? I noticed a blow dry section do it yourself so i asked to use them and she said i could but the noise from blow dryer was "loud" compared to the serene environment and i felt like i was disrupting the peace. The lady who works at station next to blow dryers kept pulling back curtain to glare at me several times as if im doing something wrong. May I suggest you have a separate blow dry station in another room and even offer to blow dry and style your clients hair as part of the service? nobody wants to leave with wet hair as we all have other stops and errands to make after our appointments, just a suggestion overall, I did enjoy the service, but I do think it is very expensive and I did not appreciate the fact that there was no privacy, I don't think I will come back“

“I have extremely thin eyebrows and wanted to do microblading, but was nervous about how it would change my appearance. It’s been 28 yrs since my brows have had any shape. My hair stylist who is young and beautiful encouraged me to do it. At 49, I reached out to Jennyfer and after speaking with her for 10 min, I knew she was the one to do them. Her salon is beautiful and clean. Jennyfer knew how nervous I was and reassured me throughout the process. She also informed me that it would be shocking at first, but that I needed to trust her and the process. And she was right! I was completely shocked and even regretted doing it the first few days. Jennyfer reached out to me on several occasions and even showed me pics of several results she had done both immediately after and once healed. She was so kind and complementary. By Day 5, I had gotten used to my new look and was truly amazed at how much I loved it. Dare I say it made me look younger. My only regret is not having it done sooner. “What a gem of a spa that we are lucky to have in this neighborhood. I first was exposed to Elora during an event they co-hosted at World Peace yoga studio, which itself was an *AMAZING* experience. That lead me to book a facial here and I could not have been more impressed. They are very hospitable, welcoming, and kind at every step. Studio is beautiful and clean with a great aesthetic, I plan to be back for a massage or something else to treat myself. I noticed that the last 2 times these ladies had their hands on me, I felt so much lighter afterwards. They're truly doing the lord's work- making people feel better in their bodies. “I've been coming to Momo for almost 5 years now. She does excellent work. If I request any nail art all I have to do is show her a picture or even just tell her and she can create what I want. She is extremely talented. I always look forward to my appointment with Momo her shop is relaxing and she's such a kind person. We have shared many laughs over the 5 years she has been doing my nails. She's willing to work with you to get you in for an appointment whenever she can. “I want to start off by saying this isn’t a paid review. This is my honest opinion:
The whole experience was absolutely wonderful. My stylist, Bettina, (who has cut my aunt, her son, and my brother’s hair in the past) was a kind, honest woman. She made me feel better about my hair situation and gave me by far my favorite haircut I’ve ever had in a short amount of time. I came in on a Friday (the day of our appointment) late because of traffic. Even though I was late she still agreed to cut my hair, and she did an absolutely amazing job. If I had to recommend you go to one salon for the rest of your life, go to Pinnokios. The location is a repurposed flower shop, and the area as a whole is super cool! If I could give this shop more than 5 stars, I would. Another unexpected bonus is the salon is down the road from Shake It Records! All and all I cannot recommend this place enough, and I know I’ll continue to go here.“
