1659 E Oakton St, Des Plaines“Great place to learn taekwondo. Master DD, Master Max, and Master Joanna are great instructors who care about the people who come to learn the art. They will take the time to help you learn 1 on 1. This has been a fantastic place for my almost 10 year old daughter to learn martial arts. They also have movie nights every last Friday of the month and celebration on holidays. A great way for kids as well as parents to make friends and be social. I 100% recommend Martial Arts of Des Plaines.“

909 S Roselle Rd, Schaumburg“My girls (preteen and teen) both enjoyed the Jiu-jitsu classes there. They were easy to drop in and go on the days we were available so they were very flexible. My daughters felt comfortable there, no issues, they went around the time Covid was causing alot of issues for businesses but they handled it well respecting their students while keeping them safe.
Would definitely go there in future for more classes, we only stopped due to changes in life that time making it hard to go. Highly recommend. Definitely a good workout for anyone of all ages“
“JKD and Krav Maga are the best combined training for self defense Ive found in 20+ years. Of training.“

9AM - 8PM
682 Roosevelt Rd, Glen Ellyn“My son started at USMA 1.5 years ago and since then, my daughter and I have joined as well. We checked out several martial arts schools but were most impressed with USMA Glen Ellyn. They have helped my children develop confidence and strength as well as strengthen their discipline and respect towards others. All the instructors are great but Grand Master Lee exudes such a gentle authority. The students learn the art of taekwondo as well as the Korean culture. As an adult, I have enjoyed getting back into shape and building my strength as well as finding a group of adults that support each other.“
9:30 - 10:30AM
151 Ogden Ave, Westmont“If I could give BBX a million stars I could- I cannot possibly list all of the wonderful things about this place. Taking taekwondo has built so much confidence in my kids. They love coming here, and that is all attributed to Master Kim, who has created a positive environment that is both respectful and fun. He runs a tight ship and is strict, but is also so so kind and compassionate. You can tell that he loves what he does and his students. He's an incredibly positive role model and the children adore and respect him. The classes are a balance between serious work and training, and also some fun games. My kids have made so many friends- it's been a great experience. BBX is a hidden gem.“

4 - 9PM
856 N Main St, Glen Ellyn“Both my sons have been learning Okinawan Shotokan Karate from Sensei Mostafa since 2021. Both of them naturally love martial arts, its discipline, personal growth, and leadership. They earned their black belts in MMA in Wisconsin, and they have seriously put in hard work and focus to earn their black belts under Sensei Mostafa's guidance. They are working towards higher level black belts, but more than that, my kids are learning to be well balanced, good citizens. Karate and martial arts in general can be a spiritual exercise and can teach inner discipline, impulse control, responsibility, good conduct, positivity, grace under pressure, self-respect, and a strong moral core. Sensei Mostafa and his team of senior student instructors inspire all students to follow this path by leading through example. The Sensei is a good person ??“

6614 Barrington Rd, Hanover Park“The place where I started my martial arts journey, and where I learned to count in Korean! I should've been a K pop star instead of a martial artist! More social proof that way and easy money, but I've always chosen the artists route, even martial artist Great basics taught here, and even early on they saw they had a monster on their hands. I'd be breaking boards and doing chores at like 10! Taking out the twash!“
