Prairie Path did an absolutely excellent job on multiple projects at our house last year. They demolished and hauled away an old deck in our back yard and put in place a beautiful paver patio with fire pit. They replaced our crumbling front walk way and steps with gorgeous sandstone. Then they redid pathways on both sides of our house. A few things I was particularly impressed with: 1) First and foremost, the designer that managed our project, Jackie Carmona, was wonderful to work with and did a fantastic job. She provided a ton of suggestions about design and choice of stone and it ended up looking wonderful. She also was extremely patient with us and rolled with us as we changed designs multiple times before finalizing things. When her team was at our house doing the work, she made sure to come on site every day and check on things, which gave us piece of mind. 2) The crew who came on site to do the work did excellent work. The head of the crew, Francisco, noticed a lot of issues in our yard slope and helped address them to reduce issues with water draining toward our foundation (which is something we had previously had issues with). He and his men worked quickly but meticulously. They were courteous to my small kids and did a great job cleaning up too! 3) Prairie Path's pricing was very competitive. They were not the cheapest but were very reasonably priced, particularly given the high quality of their materials, design, and workmanship. I would absolutely recommend Prairie Path for your home landscaping/hardscaping projects, and I will definitely use them again when I need additional work done. Thanks again Jackie and Francisco!

Kwak’s Brothers painters have just finished painting our 100 year old cedar shingled home in LaGrange. This is the 3rd time in 40 years they have painted this old house and once again they took decades off it’s age. The Kwaks painting crew have the best fine tuned process that I’ve seen or heard of including cleaning, scraping, beveling rough peels, priming and painting. Their attention to detail and respect for our property (especially my new spring gardens) was awesome. If you’re getting quotes for painting (same for their interior work) book with the Kwaks! We've used Breen's for 8 years so far (2016-24) and have never had a bad experience. I appreciate that they provide pre-labeled bags so you can easily drop off in-store, or just let them pick up from your home. I also appreciate that they drop off.Special requests to attempt to remove stains, replace buttons, etc have always gone smoothly; and if there's a problem (e.g. a stain won't come out), they acknowledge that it's there, they tried, and it wouldn't come out.Great local dry cleaner!
Dr. Benjamin and his staff have been very friendly and helpful while i was here, I had iritis and it really took the wind out of my sails but once diagnosed and treated my eye is returning to normal, I've been feeling much better! Thank you Dr. Benjamin.

I found Peggy after googling and reading about 100+ reviews. She was very helpful in making everything very straightforward and simple. Many times I wanted to put super specific language in there to address potential fears of mine but 99% of the time, they were items that weren't enforceable, were already covered by law, or were things she encouraged I keep a more open mind about. She spends a ton of time in the courtroom, is familiar with all the Cook County judges, and has decades of experience so I appreciated how black and white she made things. Peggy is very direct and concise. In our initial interview, she cut me off a time or two because I was apparently talking more than listening. At first, I was turned off by it (even though it was true lol) but I immediately saw it as an advantage with opposing counsel and I was 100% correct about that. If you're a person who likes control or is long-winded and isn't used to constructive feedback, consider this an opportunity to work on that because I actually quickly grew out of the experience. She has only 100% of your best interest at heart and I could tell that during the interview. She was also very personable, and I really appreciated how well she could relate to my situation. We had several really good discussions not only as attorney/client but also as single parents; she's further ahead in this process than me and really opened my eyes in a few areas (*cough* giving them mobile phones when they get older *cough*). As a techie, I was looking for more digital redlining, PDF editing etc but we did most everything via email modifications. It ended up being ok and made it super easy for me to search for emails with any changes that were made. She's always available via text but please don't misuse that or else she'd never have time to get things done; she (or her paralegal) is super responsive via email as well. Cost-wise, pay the flat fee upfront and you will save $10K minimum easily and my situation was pretty straightforward and easy in comparison to most people. I had a great experience and outcome in my divorce proceedings and would recommend Peggy to handle things.

I had taken a pregnancy test and it came out positive, but I do not have insurance so I wasn't sure where to get a pregnancy confirmation to apply for health insurance, and thankfully I found this location for women that give out free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds! I was able to get both done! They are so nice and patient with you, I definitely recommend any women looking for help during their pregnancy to stop by and make an appointment here!

The women who run this salon are all so sweet, and they really love their work. The salon is decorated so cute, and when I say it's clean, I mean it's clean. They use disposable tools where possible, and the rest are sanitized. The pedicure tubs don't have jets which I love. They take their time to do your nails properly and to protect the health of your nails.
The best thing about this salon is the heel it pedicure. They list it on the website like it's just another service. But this is seriously the best pedicure I have ever had. I have developed mom feet, and my heels are horrible. No matter how many pedicures I get, my feet never actually feel soft anymore. As in, even if I do a chemical foot peel, everything peels except my heel. It's terrible. These women made my feet look and feel almost as good as they did before I developed mom feet. My socks aren't clinging to my heels like Velcro anymore; it's like a miracle.
I highly recommend you give it a try.

Cleanliness: My overall experience was great. The staff is friendly and attentive, so this makes the experience more enjoyable. The price is lower than expected; I usually request the pedicure higher package so this is why I rated it as $40-$60. I am a repeat customer.

Kristina takes a holistic approach to creating and maintaining your hair color, cut and style. She first asks what you would envision, and after a short discussion with you, she works to make it happen. When she cuts my hair, she takes into consideration the shape of my head, how my hair lies, and the condition of my hair, and addresses anything that needs to be changed, like the hair products I am using. My hair used to be brittle and she has transformed my hair to a soft mane of hair. Before I started with Kristina, my hair was falling out. I was trying minoxidil to reverse it, but it was getting worse. She suggested that I discontinue using it, and offered suggestions on products that could restore my hair. Now my hair is much more healthy, shiny and soft. The glaze she uses on my hair makes my hair feel like fine silk.As for Kristina herself, she is a very kind, respectful person. She genuinely cares about each of her clients, and it shows. Every time a client walks through the door, it's smiles all around. We love to go to Kristina for all of our hair needs.
This was our first time at Salon Hype. My daughter ( 1st haircut ever) and I went for a haircut and I have to say Karina (SHE IS AMAZING) did an excellent job on both of us. My 4 year old loved her cut and after i saw my daughter's I trusted her with my cut. I told her I trust you do what you think goes with my face and oohhhemmgeee. All I have to say is I LOVE IT!!!! Honestly, I chose this studio because of proximity initially because some of the other studios in the vicinity give me offputting vibes. BUT LET ME TELL YOU, Carmina is the cherry on top- and I would even do more of a commute if it was necessary. I will be going more often. She is focused on individualized needs and does not treat you like a number. I highly recommend.

I went to see Karry during my third trimester of my pregnancy. She is a fantastic massage therapist! I was experiencing pain and stiffness from the unusual sleeping positions of pregnancy and for the first time in a long time I felt SO relaxed. After my massage, I had the best night sleep I had in a long time. I ended up going back a couple more times. While she wasn't available to be my doula for my birth, she referred me to my doula team and I was in such good hands. I would definitely recommend seeing Karry! You'll be glad you did!
