The quality of their work is amazing I called them at opening to fix my slacks for my suit and they were able to hem and altercate the pants for me in one day! Bernabe was amazing help I will be coming here again! And they are very kind really appreciate good customer service
Impeccable service. The woman who appears to run the place is so kind. Also, I had a stain in my dress that she worked overtime (free of charge) to get out. Customer service is 12/10. We had a sports coat and two dresses that were quickly cleaned at an affordable price. Couldn't recommend enough!!
I honestly NEVER take the time to write Yelp reviews, however I had such a great experience at La Villita tonight that I HAD to log in here and write a 5 star review! Seriously- cannot recommend them enough!! Amazing! I needed a semi odd yet pretty small repair - a thick rubber flap on a horse grazing muzzle that needed to be reattached to a nylon strap... so, not the most common request! (Also just to note- I'm not a jerk, my horse likes to eats other horses tails when he's bored in the winter- so that's why he has to wear one. It's either that, or solo turnout... which = lonely depressed horsie. So... lol) Ordering a new one would have only cost about $35... but I didn't want to wait a week for it to be delivered, so I figured I'd check to see if it was something that could be fixed. I had initially stopped by another place nearby and was quoted $40-$50, at least a week, with no actual guarantee that the tailor (who did not work on-site) could/would even fix it. Obviously, that was a no-go... and after talking to the other shop, I figured I probably just needed to order a new one since the repair would probably cost more that it was worth, and it would take just as long. As a last resort, I decided to try one more place, and called La Villita to see if this was something they could do. The man who answered the phone was extremely nice, and said to bring it by. When I arrived a few minutes later, he was SO friendly, chatted with me about horses for a minute (he has a couple of his own in Mexico! So cute!) He looked over the broken flap, and then took it right over to his machine and FIXED IT ON THE SPOT! What?!!! I definitely was not expecting that! (Honestly- I'm sure I just lucked out coming in right before closing when he had some free time, and they likely can't always accommodate such an immediate repair, but WOW! I was in shock- especially after the other place telling me it would be at LEAST a week!) The man (I'm assuming the owner? But I'm not sure) was extremely nice, and even added in extra reinforcement stitching in hopes that my horse wouldn't be able to break it again. I was in and out in LESS THAN 10 MINUTES. Ummmm- and the best part? It only cost $6!!!! What!!! Insane! I did leave a tip, but I honestly already want to go back and give him another $20 for just being so freaking amazing and accommodating! (They were closed, but I'm already trying to figure out what I can bring in for next time because GODDAMN. That man deserves all the business, and alllll the tips!) I will DEFINITELY be returning. Excellent service, excellent prices, and a nice plus- the owner is literally the nicest man ever. Highly HIGHLY recommend!!
