“Wenz is absolutely amazing! We are so thankful we did the behavioral modification training for our Golden Retriever pup that was going through her teenage phase. I highly recommend working with Wenz, who has a great understanding of how to train dogs at all ages with a loving, caring and gentle attitude. She has a lot of great tricks for barking and leash pulling. She helped us come up with alternatives whenever our pup was being stubborn or biting the leash in public places. As the dog parents, we also learned so much and we developed a stronger relationship with our pup. The best part was learning how to properly leash walk our puppy as well as how she should greet visitors. It’s so easy to walk our pup now around the neighborhood and she’s a lot calmer when we have friends over. We would definitely do it all over again.“

“Hasani is more than your average dog trainer. He has an expert-level understanding of canine behavioral shaping and modification strategies. Virgil, our 11-month-old Doberman Pinscher, completed the 3 week board and train program. He was already a good boy, but still had some annoying puppy behaviors and needed more obedience in general, as he could be quite willful at times.When Virgil returned from the board and train, his behavior was vastly improved, and many of his annoying behaviors were virtually eliminated. He also acquired many new skills and commands that make it easier to manage him in any situation, and help him to better regulate fears and anxieties so that he is a more calm and confident dog.Hasani took a lot of time to really educate on how to interact with Virgil for the best results. I learned a lot about proper leash-handling, behavioral redirection, and productive play that I never would have considered, and haven’t heard from any other trainer or class. This continues into the generous follow-up sessions that he provides.We wanted Virgil to be the sort of dog that can be taken to public spaces, social gatherings, and on trips. Hasani certainly delivered on this. I would say that the program works for more than just dogs with problem behaviors, and is a great investment in providing the best quality of life for you and your dog. Hasani is patient, knowledgeable, and clearly brings a high level of integrity into his work.“

“We sent our dog Rocky to Western Wag for a little over two years, before moving out of the city. Our dog loved going there and would get excited at dropoff! We miss being a part of the community so much. Rocky would come home exhausted and we could tell from the pictures on instagram that he had a great day. “Nick and his team at Off Leash Canine are one of a kind! With Nick’s vast knowledge of canine psychology and 20+ years of experience working with dogs, he has helped my dog (Henry) and I so much in training. Henry now comes when called, knows an array of commands and walks beautifully on the leash, all because of Nicks 1:1 sessions with us. We also utilize Nick’s dog walking services 3x a week and cannot be more happy with the service that they provide! I know that Henry is safe and having fun when he’s at the dog park with Nick and his team. I could not recommend Off Lease Canine more, they are the best!“

“I’m pretty thorough with where I take my dog and nearly every daycare in the area gave me some kind of red flag - either through recent reviews or visiting and just not feeling very comfortable leaving Jax for an extended period.

Dog. has been a very positive experience so far. I walk over a mile to get there each time and it’s always worth it for the security I feel when he’s there. It’s clean, professionally run, and the dog daycare cameras they offer are reassuring. Jax always leaves tired and the front desk folks are always friendly. “It took us a while to find a really great place for boarding our three pups. They can be very picky and particular! We found Zen about a year or so ago and have boarded with them several times since. Communication is always easy, I love getting photo updates on our babies, and they make drop off and pick up very easy. Most importantly, our pups seem to really like it there. Our youngest has become more social with dogs in general and it's very obvious how well taken care of they are when they are there. Highly recommend to anyone that is overprotective of their pups!“

“I have taken my dog to Higgins for a few years, my gf from Roscoe Village had referred me to Higgins Vet.
Everyone there was so attentive and nice, the receptionists were always so cordial and always called me back promptly.
During Covid the operations changed and it was absolutely fine, we parked in the back at their designated lot and called in and someone came to see and pick up our dog to take it to a consultation while we waited.
