Many years later I’m still here and never looked back. Professor Christian and the coaches here have elevated my game and made jiu jitsu one of the biggest achievements to date. Highly recommend for anyone to come learn from the best!“

I am very proud of him, since Taekwondo has motivated him to improve in all aspects, at first he was not interested, but now, every day he strives to do better everything that his teacher Mojica taught him. He teaches and always practices his forms of Taekwondo. Taekwondo has been an excellent decision.“

It may not house the next lineal champion of the world (yet), but it’s the best place to learn a thing or two about boxing fundamentals and history. Support local businesses!“

1642 W Howard St, Chicago“Sifu (Freddie) is an amazing individual who truly cares about his students and helps train for the body and mind. He is very caring, energetic, and welcomes everyone regardless of age or physique. I have been going here for about a year and cannot tell you the tremendous impact his classes have had on my health and overall strength. He modifies sessions based on your needs and helps you achieve your next level! Never stop being amazing and glad we can gain XP together!“
“At the moment I like the way that teacher Pedro Cardenas teaches, it seems that he is a psychologically and physically prepared person, he has a lot of respect for his students, now the lady who is in charge of collecting and I don't know what else lacks a lot of knowledge so re education of human relations, she does not have a professional way of telling you things, they do not explain anything to you and all the time she is the one who is right, it is good that she is not a teacher otherwise she would have already taken my daughter out of here.“

The sensei Marek is very kind, genuine and shows how much jiu jitsu can positively impact a person if they simply decide to step on the mats. Try a class, you won't regret it and it just might change your life for the better.“

“I started my 5 year old during fall 2021 and he utterly enjoys the training. He started in Capoeira Saturdays and Sundays, and just decided to begin Judo and Karate this week. The instructors are top-notch and ready to teach. Also-- you can do ALL the martial arts for one fee. There's no where in Chicago with that type of affordability. - Dr. V.“
10AM - 2PM
Dragon Budo Jujutsu Martial Arts Academy, 2021-25 E 95th St, Chicago“I've been studying and training at the DBJ dojo for nearly two years and it's been one of the best combat experiences! This is coming from a 4 year wrestler who also has nearly 2 years of boxing (training only), minor Judo trianing in Cameroon, and a handful of months at a Gracie Academy. Not only does the dojo uphold its set principles and values, but it also pushes its students to do the same. Strikes are taught off the rip because they're woven into the curriculum; and by extension, your technique. Under Grandmaster Starks, if you take it seriously, you'll become a legit student under the Gyawn Atiko Jujutsu system-a more traditional style of Jujutsu. Belts aren't given; we're students, hence the set tests we take to earn our promotions. In addition to the mats, full boxing ring, and MMA cage, the DBJ dojo fully embraces a healthy fight culture while creating the next generation of strong and dedicated warriors. While I could go on and on, I'll end by saying you just have to come try it for yourself! Here is a short clip of how it be!https://youtu.be/bzI6Z7X4t3A?feature=shared“

“(indepth review)Feeling desperate to lose weight and gain discipline, a friend of mine recommended this place. The trainers were nice enough to let me try one class for free to get a feel of things. After the class I was absolutely dead. I was tired. Exhausted. Some muscles that I didn't know I had were burning. This is a good thing. I haven't felt like this for years. Immediately I signed up for 2 years. It is difficult, yes. You will be exhausted. You will be taken out of your comfort zone. You will work muscles that you didn't think existed but I guarantee that you will feel alive and will come back for more. When you sign up you will be given two uniform shirts and a pair of boxing gloves for free. Think of this place like a streaming service. You pay a subscription and you get access to a bunch of movies and tv shows (in this case classes). You can do Boxing, kickboxing, etc etc. There are more advanced classes that you need to be approved to attend. These will have a red font. A blue font is for kids. A black font is for teens and adults.Class may go something like this:The first 10ish minutes is jogging, stretches, push ups, etc.You get a 1 minute transition period to drink some water (BRING WATER) and your gloves. You'll train, usually in pairs. This means you actually have to go up to someone and ask "Hey want to be partners?" Then after class you may do some stretches and then the fun is over.I can really feel like I am progressing and getting stronger. I have more confidence and self control. So is it worth it? Absolutely. Will it push you to your limits? Yes.edit: I still come here. Best decision I've ever made in my life. I am much more flexible than before.“

“Dino has been my coach and mentor for 20 years. You'll never find a coach who cares and will immerse himself into your existence like Dino will. He desires to transform you into what you could be. Whatever the cost for that is? It's worth it.“
