He went through the whole house, inspected the radiators and valves, and made recommendations. He is coming back out to finish part two of the job. Dmytro was super knowledgeable about hot water heating systems, which was a relief because it's tough to find people that work on them, let alone are as experienced as he is. He was able to troubleshoot my system and come up with a plan to repair it. He pointed out a lot of places where someone had installed parts of the system incorrectly, or without fully understanding how things were meant to work together, and he clearly explained why these things were an issue. “For years, I've battled with bedroom humidifiers because the air gets so dry in winter with the little April Air humidifiers attached that run through the furnaces in our house.I learned of a different kind of April Air - a Power Humidifier - that provides much more humidity to your home and called an HVAC place to ask about it. They said they couldn't install due to space limitations and instead recommended a much more expensive Steam humidifier. I was a little suspect of the recommendation, so I called Midtown Mechanical to get another opinion.First, they explained that while a Steam humidifier might do the job, it is very costly AND there is a lot of maintenance and expense in upkeep, which is an immediate "no" in my book.Second, they said that they can make the Power Humidifier fit, even though the space was small.Third, they explained that since humidity rises, much like heat, it would be beneficial to install one power humidifier for EACH furnace (two in total), which the other company never mentioned.We scheduled a few days out and the team came on time and they were very courteous. They spent hours at my house (due to the space limitations, it took some time!) and they installed two (one for each furnace).Their service was great. Their price was reasonable -- for TWO power humidifiers, they were only a slightly more expensive than the other company was for ONE power humidifier. And, the humidity is amazing. (And, I've called since to ask a question about humidity levels and they patiently helped me and said if i had any questions or issues, they would be happy to help.)I'd highly recommend these guys for any HVAC work you have.“

“Been using My Guy for years for AC repair. This year when my old 19year old Frigidaire was malfunctioning more than was worth going on, I got a few estimates for a new AC unit. I live in a 4 story condo, with the unit having to be lifted by a crane onto the roof. My Guy's proposal was the best put together and value and their office was the most responsive and on top of what needed to be done as far as getting the COI, paperwork etc to my Condo management company. They were able to schedule my install quickly, within 8 days of my initial call. The new exterior unit and evaporator was installed on my furnase went smoothly, and the crew was great and clean.
