Clean As A Whistle Cleaners

I recently brought a mattress topper (cotton shell, wool insert) to Clean As A Whistle Cleaners. It was a very big, bulky item and I wasn't sure about getting it cleaned as it was pretty expensive. After dropping it off I received a call from the owner saying that they are going to clean it and air dry it to minimize shrinkage although it might still shrink about 10 to 15%. I said that I understood the risk. He also told me it would take more time to clean - no problem. Good job with dry cleaning and laundering, bad job with pressing. More than half of my dress shirts came back with deep wrinkles pressed into them, which is disappointing because a good press and light starch the only reason I bring them to a dry cleaner.

Clean as a Whistle is my go-to cleaners in the West Loop! The owner is always so friendly and has great service and price for the area. She's also hemmed/tailored a few things for me as well. Highly recommend!
