We had a new kitchen, two new baths, all new flooring, trim, and baseboards installed as well as interior painting. The carpentry work, tile work, custom cabinets, and flooring all came out better than expected. And on schedule! Very qualified and honest company to work with. Would highly recommend.“

“Paul built our home back in 2004 and we were delighted with how it turned out. So it was only natural to give him a call when our pool needed attention.

Eryn took control of the whole thing as we needed our pavers lifted and relaid along with having the pool resurfaced. Everything was taken care of efficiently and within budget. “Hess Construction removed an old carport, widened my driveway, widened the carport cement, installed an insulated panel roof, and built a very nice large shed underneath the new carport roof. As a recently retired building contractor, I can give an honest perspective regarding a contractor. Dennis Hess AND his crew are top notch!! I would have eagerly hired any and all of his workers when I was in my business. From the permitting process, to the final clean up day on the job I was very impressed with every aspect of this business. Not only was the job done with the best available materials and the best workmen, the contract price was better than the quotes I got from other "reputable" contractors. Dennis is always extremely busy, but I would recommend patience and the result will be well worth the wait.“

“What started out as a "furniture update" where we reached out to Allison, a highly respected local interior designer, became a much larger and admittedly needed home-remodel project. Allison introduced us to Dana, a skilled and personal project manager. These two spent hours with us determining our lifestyle and how we want our home to support those goals. With a budget in mind, our project (Dana's design) was brought to life through an incredible team of professional carpenters employed by Sandstar (Tim, Adolfo, Logan, Jesus were especially skilled and dedicated to high personal standards). These guys became friends. Several projects were also subcontracted through some of the best local plumbers, electricians, and countertop agents. These technicians were provided clear guidance and were well-supervised by Julio who along with Dana, provided us with daily updates. These two in particular made a very personal commitment to our home and clearly wanted to get this right. Equally as important, was how well-coordinated the entire effort unfolded. Sandstar's scheduler (Sue) deserves special recognition as her ability to schedule each team at just the right time was impeccable. My neighbor's made several comments about how they were waiting weeks for a subcontractor while witnessing three different contractors in my driveway on most days. I can't say enough about the team of professionals at Sandstar. I would be remiss if I failed to mention that Mr. Jim Sanders, Sandstar's owner, personally visited my home each Thursday to oversee and ensure my complete satisfaction. His confidence and pride in the organization he's built is well-earned. We have several friends who've dealt with other local service providers recently that are unfortunately not as positive in their reviews. I am beyond happy to have chosen Sandstar to plan and complete our renovation. I should add that Allison's furniture and decor choices that were well-coordinated with my wife, completed our absolutely beautiful update. I will not hesitate to call Sandstar for our forthcoming lanai renovation.“
