“I've been doing business with CCC since 2013. It was a fairly new business owned and operated by an experienced installer and service technician who tired of working with someone who was no longer running a reputable operation. His goal was to provide high quality service at reasonable prices and he did that while he owned the company. You can find my 5-star review on Yelp in December of that year. However, he sold this business and it's recently had a large staff turnover.

I've purchased 5 complete units—all heat pumps--from this company and had a neighbor buy a sixth. I only purchase units with 12 year parts warranties, 10 year labor warranties and 10 year refrigerant warranties. I've lived in Florida for over 40 years and have learned the hard (expensive) way that the cost of refrigerant can eat you alive—now over $100/pound, warranty service that covers parts and labor can still cost $500-$2500 for refrigerant and if it all leaks out tomorrow you'll have to pay that again...

This review originally started out as a 1 star; subsequently Grant, the new Master Tech turned Service Manager got involved and came out on a weekend to change a compressor. He's trying very hard to make this company live up to its previous high standard.

I would give CCC a 5 Star review if it again provided portable A/C units to customers awaiting parts (even if that meant having to pay a reasonable fee). Also, ensure office staff communicate the fact that the $99 service call fee assessed to inspect the unit will be applied toward the actual cost to complete the repair.“
