“My son has been attending classes at 1 Up for a little over a month. I must definitely say this is an incredible place. We were invited out during bring a buddy week and never left. Not only is my son learning techniques and training in the ways of martial arts but he is having fun while doing it. As a parent the gold that caught my eye about this place was the instruction and the lessons beyond the mat that were being reinforced. My son and I also stopped by one evening and were able to observe an adult class too. So, this place is absolutely an experience for everyone. “Can’t believe the difference this place made on our 4 year old son who was always so attached to us and had major separation anxiety! The first time in was tough, for both our son and us as parents because he would cry but the Oviedo Victory team took their time with one on one classes and helped him transition into group classes with the other kids. It took a couple of weeks to settle in but now he lovessss coming here for class! Take your kid here and don’t give up, they will get the hang of it way faster than you think! I’ve seen so many little kids start out crying and not wanting to be there but now they’ve flourished and know all the karate moves. My little guy has fun in class and probably feels so cool doing his karate moves. He’s gained confidence and independence and we love it! “I've practiced different forms of Martial Arts most of my life (I'm 56).This school is unlike any other experience I've had.I broke my back, spent 10 years in pain, I was scared to move fast, or twist too much.
