“Martial art is not only a fight sport, it’s also a way of life and thinking. It’s very essential for your identity, specifically for kids. Sensei Bryan and Maria are a very exceptional team with their academy. They’re not only professional but friendly. We feel blessed to have found them!“
“Amazing studio with professional and kind instructors - clean, peaceful, welcoming instructors and staff . This studio is a GEM in the center of Coconut Grove with many options of classes. Love it and discovered great yoga classes there . Highly recommend it for sure !“
“Skanda Yoga Studio is awesome! The vibe is super welcoming from the moment you walk in. The instructors are amazing—they really know their stuff and make sure everyone feels comfortable, no matter your skill level. The studio space is clean and calming, perfect for getting into your practice. I've felt so much better physically and mentally since I started coming here. Definitely check it out if you're into yoga!“
“This is the best studio I’ve ever had the privilege of going to. Every instructor has their own unique way of connecting to you. This is more than a yoga studio. If you want to become stronger mentally, physically, to connect to your true self this is the place. I promise you won’t regret giving this studio a chance.“
“This has always been one of my favorite studios. Tonight I found myself in a frustrating situation and the owner, Ariel, happened to be working the desk and went out of his way to help me. I realized my car battery had died after my class and he spent almost an hour with me trying to jump my car with his car. When I first came to ask him for help he did not hesitate to step in. His attitude and efforts really put me at ease because of course it’s stressful to experience a car break down. This studio not only has wonderful classes, but wonderful people - this is what it’s all about!! Namaste!“
“Unmissable experience! Every day 7am and 6pm, with voluntary contribution, you just have to bring a towel and arrive on time, without prior scheduling, for all levels, truly seeing the sunrise here is worth everything!!“
“I was looking for the midwife during pandemic and my path crossed with Maggie. I don’t even have words to describe how amazing she was. Maggie is very caring, emphatic, professional and the best human being in the world. My birth went smooth, no stress, no necessary distractions, she took care of me and my little one. When it comes to antepartum visits she informs about everything in a wise, comforting way. I truly recommend Maggie and her entire team, they will participate in the most important event of your life quietly, patiently and in a most caring way. Look no further, you’ll fell in love with her ☺️“
“I just had a great class with Christine ... challenging but attainable, perfect combination!.Going back on Sunday ?“
“I was in chronic pain from hip to ankle (sciatica). I am pain free after a month of practice! The instruction is precise and gentle. The community is warm and welcoming. At 70 years old I am now moving like 40! Thanks Miami Beach Iyengar Yoga Center!“
“Space: 5 starVariety: 5 starClasses/Teachers: 2-5 star, depending on teacherWas a member here for over a year and overall, Ahana does an excellent job of having classes nearly 24/7 with options for everyone. That being said: if you don't know what you're in for, you can be disappointed or annoyed. Most of the classes are what I'd call Miami yoga -- teachers yelling "happy baby, happy husband" while cueing booty shakes in poses (especially weekend classes). Fun if that's what you're going for, but if you're expecting a spiritual and conscious breathing flow with a focus on proper alignment and to feel a sense of grounded connection of mind and body (the meaning and purpose of 'yoga' when translated), go for the classes taught by Debbie, Jessica, Caro, or Vanessa. For the beginners: Ahana isn't a particularly beginner-friendly studio; flows are fast in most classes and there's little attention to proper alignment. Gentle yoga is a class to start with if you're new to yoga. There is also zero respect by staff/front desk and classes outgoing when the other classes are incoming. It is one large open space, and you'll have people sticking around after class talking while a new class is starting. Disappointing because the people speaking are usually the actual staff who should know better (not class lingerers)Don't go to weekend classes if you enjoy breathing space, you'll be packed into a room like sardines. Arrive early if you want a good spot.Temperature: I like that it's not heated, but it's not cold (there are heaters in the front if you want very hot)“
“I have been enjoying my days package as a new student. The classes are fast paced and sweaty but I feel great after each visit. I love how many amenities the studio provides and am looking forward to meeting my practice here!“
“Hot Yoga Brickell (Nacho Cano) Yoga is amazing, Minneapolis is my home studio and with the travel pass I am able to spend time at the studio here in LA. The community and energy is consistent with my home studio. Amazing people; the instructors are awesome. Particularly Dalton and Max. Hot Yoga Brickell (Nacho Cano) Yoga Hot Yoga Brickell (Nacho Cano) is awesome.“
“Phenomenal space instructors and pace. Come here for flow every time I’m in the city. Jessica Coyne is a saint??“
“Fuze House is an innovative spin on mat work combined with infrared heat and it is extremely effective. Founded by one of the leading minds and bodies behind reformer Pilates, Elisa Kaylin, this studio is not only made for Pilates and fitness enthusiasts, it is made by one, operates as one and produces great results. I love Fuze House, the classes, the environment, the top of the line tools and weights used during class all contribute to an easy to issue FIVE STAR RATING. There is easy parking in the South Beach neighbourhood which is always buzzing (parking garages) and easy shoping after class! See you soon Fuze ladies, have a beautiful weekend, Karen (a happy local fitness enthusiast)“
“Perfect place to practice Maysore Ashtanga. Practicing with Patrick is more of spiritual than just a business deal. Practice with Patrick to attain next level and notice expansion in consciousness.“
“I highly recommend Jas'mine! She takes so much pride in her work and really values the clients she works with.“
“An amazing school, whether you're wanting to become a RYT200, RYT300, or Yoga Therapist. Personally, I completed all three here at the Shala and I could not have made a better decision. A lot of community outreach, including yoga for PD, neuroplasticity, as well as student led classes focused on a wide variety of conditions.“
“Michael is my FAVORITE instructor! very knowledgeable, extremely professional and fun!. I met him in 2013 and I am very grateful for being one of his students. He makes you exercise with intention, focusing on alignment and building a strong practice. He helps you understand everything that is behind any specific yoga asana or martial arts move, paying attention to every detail in your technique that will make your practice more efficient and meaningful. He will constantly challenge you to become a better version of yourself. Michael is full of resources and there is always something new to learn from him in every class!“
“Great instructors. I have been going for about a year now and love their Hot Bikram Yoga. I have recommended them to my co-workers and we've gone a few times together.“
“Beautiful rooms, amazing people, had more experiences and connection in the first week here than 1 year working from Home. Cannot wait to explore the other places around the world and for the network to expand. So many like minded people with the core of travelling and freedom but also such diversity in what we do and our personalities and countries. Roam also made it easy to be super healthy and take care of my well being with yoga and meditation. So nice when we spontaneously cook For one another as well. Kitchen is the place to be!“
