“We used Essential Air Conditioning for our annual maintenance checkup today. We are very pleased. Everything went smoothly from scheduling to service completion.

On our call to schedule service, Charlie explained what was covered and quoted a price. For the appointment, it was scheduled promptly.

Today, before his arrival, Charlie contacted us and asked if he could come a little early. We said yes. Upon arrival, Charlie was polite and professional. He gave us a detailed report on the status of our air conditioner's health. It passed with flying colors. When it came time to pay the bill, Charlie presented us an invoice for the exact amount he quoted us when the appointment had been scheduled.“

“I want to give this company a five star review for their customer service. They recently replaced the AC ducting in our new home, which had been incorrectly installed by another company long ago. There was a miscommunication and a problem with the install which can happen. But Alex at the front desk quickly scheduled someone to fix the problem. There were still a few things that were not right, and the owner himself jumped onto it and went above and beyond to make it good. My husband and I have worked in the service industry for a long time and we are aware that too many contractors and service companies give subpar customer service and do not own up to any errors. We hear it a lot where people get ghosted by companies who won’t fix the problem when something goes wrong. It’s good to know that there is a company like this one who does everything needed to make things right with the client and make sure they are satisfied. This is a huge factor I look for when dealing with a company. It’s not so much is everything perfect but are they doing everything to take responsibility and endeavoring to deliver a good product.“

“A heads up for anyone thinking about replacing their AC or heat pump. After January 1, 2025, all such units will, by law, be required to use a different, more expensive refrigerant.. The added costs of redesigning the units to accommodate the new refrigerant and the cost of the new refrigerant will result in a 15%-20% increase in prices. We had to replace our 14 year old heat pump, and the install was completed today. We had four highly rated companies come out give bids. As it turned out, Gulf Coast Heating & A/C was our choice. Their pricing was in our budget, and Randy was the only one to work with us to find a compressor and air handler that fit the IRS' requirements for a $2,000 tax credit. A tax credit comes off the amount of taxes you owe, not a simple deduction. Angel and Rafe did an excellent job with the installation, which, by the way, is absolutely critical to the performance you will get from your unit over the years.“

“For the first time since we had this new Trane system installed in 2017 by Velocity,(garbage product and install crew, stay clear of both please) our A/C cycles off! That's right, no more running 24/7 padding Duke Energys wallets! Our A/C's compressor went out and Mike installed three, yes three compressors, as the manufacturer has only garbage for warranty replacement parts. Suffice to say he stayed on course, and on the third install viola!

We are very pleased and glad to see this kind of service/skill in todays work climate, and hats off to him for his determination and patience. A word to the wise, if ANY service technician shows up on your door step with a Homer bucket and an invoice pad, run! Thanks again F&S!“

Everything related to our experience in working with First Choice on our primary bathroom remodel was excellent.
