“I have used Brandon Equine as my back up vet for years. When my vet doesn't have the equipment for what my horse needs she sends me BE. I have also been asked to bring one of my horses for demonstration use.Early November 2023, one of my horses was showing neurological signs and my vet sent me to BE. They did X-rays and gave a diagnosis of a bone fracture. My vet along with the vet at BE said steroids and antibiotics should fix the problem. At first my horse was getting better but early December he took a turn for the worst. I called my vet out to euthanize him but my vet was out of town and said call BE . The receptionist said I will get a call back. 6 hours later, I called again. The call that I got back , I was told that because my horse is not a wellness program horse they will not send someone out. I panicked. My horse was not able to move very well and he couldn't spend the night in the cold. Finally they did come out, and euthanized him, but did not sedate him and did not wait for me to be by his side. To say the least, I am disappointed. They have always been very good to me, but I was very let down at the care they gave this great horse in the end.“

“Dr. Scott is the best!! I’m actually surprised I’ve never thought to give this office a raving review before. Today while I was there and Dr. Scott and the staff were helping me assure quality of life for my 20 year old cat I was so appreciative that I wanted to make sure they know how much we appreciate this office. My family has been using Animal Clinic of Brandon for over 20 years. When I was a teen my mom used them for our family pet and as adults both myself and my brother continue to use them for our own pets. I’ve tried a couple other vet offices closer to my current home just for convenience purposes and I always end up disappointed so I always come back. I drive out of my way for Dr. Scott. He has helped me save my pets many times and extend their lives. He is very down to earth and helps me care for my animals without pushing any unnecessary expenses on me. The office also accepts care credit which is very helpful. I have 4 pets so being able to use care credit when I need to is a relief. “Due to another previous engagement, my better half was unable to take our Coco to her follow up appointment with the Ophthalmology Specialist at Fetch Brandon, so I by default was the elected party. Coco and I arrived approximately ten minutes before the scheduled appointment and were promptly checked in. The wait time was about fifteen minutes before Jenna called us back for the appointment. Jenna stated that she would be Coco nurse for the visit today. During the entire process of pre-examination and testing Jenna explained exactly what was being done and did an excellent job of keeping Coco calm during the entire process. Once finished we waited approximately ten minutes before Dr. Schlesener came in. She examined Coco, performed more tests, and explained the diagnosis and prognosis. The check out process was quick, and we were on our way with a follow up appointment and the instructions for Coco's care. Many thanks to the Ophthalmology Department, and especially Jenna for the care that was provided today. If your pet needs Ophthalmology, this staff is who you are looking for.“
