“I have been a patient of Dr. Lynch's for decades and I can't imagine trusting anyone else with the care of my eyes. In fact, I drive over 200 miles for my appointments as I now live at the tip of Cape Cod, instead of around the corner in Branford where I previously lived. He's definitely worth the trip--highly skilled, compassionate, and even a sense of humor.“

“Last week I called the Wallingford Eye Care center because I was worried that I may have a detached retina. They set up an appointment for me right away. As you can imagine, I was very anxious. The person who helped me was Anne.(or Anna- my apologies for not remembering exactly as I said, I was a bit anxious). Anne had the most soothing, calm approach with me. She walked me through each step of the eye tests that she preformed. She acknowledged my anxiety and was very empathetic and reassuring. I then met with the Doctor who again walked me through each step and explained what she found in my eye examination. Again, very reassuring and calm. I did indeed have a problem with my retina and they immediately sent me to a retina specialist. A huge shout out to Anne for being so kind and calm and reassuring.“

“I only give the 5 stars for the doctor...because the gentleman in the other office has a horrible bitterness...and the one who helps with the glasses depends on his day, he treats one well...but the other one who received me with an attitude and I treat you like you won't like Latinos or it depends on your color...very sad because the doctor is a sweetheart...it depends on fixing that part of the staff like treating or receiving patients...“

“I've been going to Spector eye care for the last several years. Dr. Schantz, my Dr. at Spector has been great , thorough , attentive and totally professional. Ho hum visits, just the way I like them. Change glasses and contact lens prescriptions periodically, in and out of office with nothing much to think or worry about. Several weeks back she told me I needed to have a cataract taken out and steered me to Dr. Spector. Well eyes being my second favorite body part, I was petrified to consider an eye surgery. Simply put Dr. Spector is amazing ( that coming from a perpetual cynic). Not only was he patient explaining my need for treatment , he gave me several alternatives. Laser surgery being the one I opted for. Surgery was not only painless, he was thorough, professional and just plain great. My follow up the next day solidified in my mind that he really cares about his patients and their well being. Hoping anyone reading this does NOT need eye surgery but if you should, I highly recommend Dr. Spector for surgery and any of his colleagues for basic eye care. Richard B.“

“This opticare location is set up nicely. When you walk in, there are rows of frames along both walls, and in the center of the shop are a few tables for eyeglass adjustment. When going in back to get your eyes checked, you'll notice the state of the art equipment. Everyone was friendly and accommodating.“

“I’ve been going to Dr D’Addio for almost 20 years. He and his staff are always kind and courteous. He explains different parts of the eye exam to let me know what he’s checking and why. I enjoy the quality of care and the selection of glasses. There are many options to choose from. He stayed open during the COVID-19 pandemic, when other doctors I knew of decided to retired. Great Doctor!!!“

“The staff is fast and friendly, but what I enjoyed most is Dr. Samson's approach to informed care. I've seen a few optometrists over the years and none of them communicated as thoughtfully and thoroughly as he did. “Courteous, professional, and personal. Not only are Dr. Conrod and the entire staff all of these things, but you talk directly to a pleasant person when you call there. No menus, no buttons to push, and no technical glitches that result in abruptly, prematurely ended calls. Dr. Conrod never makes you feel rushed. You get his full attention. And the entire staff is just first rate in every aspect of their service.“

“I ordered my glasses and was told it would be about 1-2 weeks for them to come in. I got them early and OMG i can finally see the way I should.
Even when picking frames the employees were above and beyond with their customer service. I will be defiantly continuing shopping here.
