Candidly I have struggled to find an Optometrist that I was comfortable with until I found Eyes on Elm. Dr. Considine is awesome - attentive, personable and really listens to all of my questions relating to my exam. When we began working with Robyn Bonder, looking at several towns, we were treated with the utmost care and interest. Our needs (and budget) were foremost and Robyn worked very hard screening properties. And then our situation changed as our search became urgent with the need to find a suitable home sooner than later. Yet, when we came to view the first listing it was clear it would not work. And Robyn, instead of cajoling us, was the first one to point this out. Clear examples of market knowledge, trust and empathy. A viewing or discussion with Robyn was always helpful and constructive. She was incredibly responsive and responsible. She would immediately get back to us and was very proactive. Robyn found a few properties which would work for us. When it came time to do the inspection and find a real estate attorney we relied on her judgement and these worked out well. Real estate is a tough field, and it is a difficult time for buyers right now. Robyn made the process so much easier and I give her the highest recommendation.
Sama is amazing! A good friend entered me into a contest and I won a free month of classes - what a gift, and at the perfect time. I'd been wanting to commit to yoga for years but always felt intimidated by it, nervous about the studio and not knowing anything, etc. This free month was the push I needed to get over that...and boy did I quickly realize how unnecessary my concerns were. This place is so warm, welcoming and just all-around comfortable. I'm 8 classes in and feel excited to go each time, am seeing progress in my body/ability, have connected with lovely people, and perhaps most importantly - feel like I belong there. I'm so grateful for everyone at Sama... and for my special friend who gave me the push I needed.

From the second you walk in the environment is great and the staff is all very friendly and welcoming. I went in for brows but would revisit also to buy products from the front. Mallory was amazing at shaping my brows and not only is she great at her job but she might be one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. I have been a customer for several years. Michaelene does an excellent job straightening my thick coarse hair. She does it done every 3 to 4 months and I can happily say the results are fabulous! Michaelene also colors my hair regularly and her treatments keep my hair healthy and shiny. I'm an extremely satisfied customer!

Been coming the the Colonial Barbershop for decades. First, its a good haircut. Second, I never have to wait more than 15 minutes. Third, its a good price in town. Fourth, plenty of parking. Finally, you can grab some food next door. And, like one reviewer mentioned, Joe will talk sports with you. My hair is curly. My mother comes in for a buzz cut every month.

After one session, I started telling all my friends about how superb StretchLab New Canaan is. Wonderful people - I will mention David and Michael because I learned their names, yet everyone is friendly, nonjudgmental, and professional. I've been looking for a nail salon to call my go-to and I think I finally found it. I called to make mani/pedi appts for myself and my daughter on Monday and was able to come in the next day. Everything was perfect - the service was top notch, attention to detail and they're really sweet - no talking badly about you when you're sitting right there. Prices are reasonable, the space is cute and I like that it's on the small side- this isn't an assembly line nail spa. You can actually relax here and enjoy the time in peace. We're looking forward to coming back.

We hired Gannon Rustic Fence to repair/replace part of our black chain link fence that was damaged from a tree, and we are so happy with the job they did. They were very thorough checking that all of the damaged areas were accounted for, and the end result looks as good as new. Easy to communicate with and very prompt. Would definitely recommend.
