I do believe that perhaps the work is a bit overpriced and that you might be able to find high quality work at a better value. Steve is also a good salesman. In addition to refacing our kitchen cabinets, we also needed to replace our custom vanity in the master bathroom while at the same time doing a tub to shower conversion and remodel of the master bath. “To start, I just want to say that Mo (owner) and Shawn (co-worker) are phenomenal people. As a homeowner unfamiliar with the renovation process, I approached Mo for the first time with pencil drawings I had made for a custom wooden staircase that I dreamed of replacing our current cookie cutter one. Others said they would only work through a designer, didn’t make their own drawings, etc. Mo and Shawn talked through our design with us, troubleshot potential structural issues and were very patient with the process. After briefly employing a designer for the kitchen and living room part of our renovation, but unhappy with the progress, we added that woodwork to our bid with Mo as well and we took the role of ‘general contractor’. He computer generated the kitchen design we worked out, constructed the cabinets to a high quality, and was precise with installation. The results are better than we had originally envisioned.A few notes on Mo and his team:They are honest and genuine. The crew was polite and always patient in working around my family, as we lived in our home throughout the renovation.They were willing to make adjustments to the plan, as needed, until we were happy with the resultsThere was no nickel and diming. We paid what we were originally quoted.Mo was always quick to respond to concerns we raised through the process and showed up when he said he wouldMo and Shawn went above and beyond in several instances. For example, when the renovation went past the original deadline, due to some factors beyond their control, we realized that we would still be in the middle of a construction zone on our main floor for Christmas. Knowing that we wanted to have our Christmas tree up and enjoy Christmas morning with our children in the living room, Mo and Shawn stayed late, got the renovation at a livable stopping point, moved our rug and some furniture back into the space and had it ready for us to be able to use for Christmas week. They also surprised us with a beautiful handmade cutting board as a gift for our new kitchen.Now that we are done and enjoying the space, we feel a little hole in our lives, not having Mo and Shawn around to say ‘hi’ to.
