“As I artived for my cats check up, the staff made me very comfortable as they took me to the exam room. Dr rojas saw me in between her procedures to assure me my companion woud be attended to. She didnt have to do that, but thats the kind of person she is. She takes all things into consideration as ahe works with evryone. She communicates with her staff very effictively and her kindness preceeds her. My cat is greatly cared for to say the least.

“This is without question the best vet I have ever been too. I have seen 3 vets with 2 dogs here. Dr Andy is so kind and compassionate I can’t even put it into words. My 14 year old Yorkie is a very complicated case and Dr Andy took so much time and patience to hear us out and come up with an action plan my wife and I were blown away. My dachshund has seen Dr Llewy and Dr Jeannie both multiple times and they are both outstanding. I will never go anywhere else“

“So thankful for Gentle Touch! My dog has huge anxiety about the vet and we were actually turned away from our previous vet because he was “too aggressive.” Gental Touch took the time to get to know my dog and what would work best for him. He was not aggressive but rather just terrified and they worked with me to get part of his exam done and we will finish in January with the other part once I get different medicine on board. Could not promote this place enough!“

“My dog and I have always had a great experience here. The front desk is SO friendly and somehow they seem to remember every animal that visits this clinic.
Dr. Herman performed Athena's spaying procedure. I was really nervous leaving her there, but she did great. I was so grateful for the before surgery consultation, the midday update from the desk, and when I picked her up she was a bit sleepy, but perfect. She recovered VERY quickly and really didn't ever seem to experience noticeable discomfort.
I have moved out of the area or I'd still be going here, but if I end up moving closer I will for sure be back.“

In particular, go see Dr Becky Graf if you can! She’s been our vet for more than a decade, and we followed her to Urban Vet. Dr Graf is the kind of person who takes care of your whole family, humans and pets alike. She always explains clearly what’s going on, and every option you have, but also takes into account what’s actually best for your pets quality of life and what you yourself can manage. When I was young and broke, that meant telling me my cats would need to get their teeth cleaned way ahead of time so I could get the money together. Now, with very elderly cats and a basically stable bank account, that’s telling me an invasive procedure might be too hard on their hearts, here’s some gentler options. (She also always calls personally with test results and follow ups to explain them and to plan next steps).
The more knowledgeable and informed we are, the better we can take care of our fur babies. Dr Graf makes sure we’re all working together to give our pets their best lives.“

Everyone was so kind to him and made him feel extremely comfortable. He also loved all the treats!“

“I’d give Evans East, Dr Gao, Dr Rodriguez, Dr Farmer and the rest of the team 10 stars if I could. They took exceptional care of my baby girl (senior cat, Boots) when she became ill and stopped eating earlier this year.

I brought her in after having zero luck with our regular vet. After just a few visits and tests, Dr Gao was able to diagnose her with (unfortunately) renal lymphoma. She took her time explaining everything (e.g., test results, treatment) and even let me call her with additional questions, which went a long way in my book considering how scary and stressful it was.

Unfortunately, Boots took a turn for the worse before her first oncology appt and I had to make the difficult decision to euthanize. And on that day when I was an absolute wreck, the Evans East team was kind, patient, caring, and compassionate.

Overall, I highly recommend this place and can’t thank them enough for their efforts.“

“Have taken my pets there what seems forever. The staff is welcoming and Dr. Lori and Dr. Scott are experts at what they do. This is a family vet and it is just the 2 doctors. Dr. Scott handles the large animals ( horses, etc.) and Dr. Lori handles the small animals (cats, dogs etc.). At times it is difficult to get an appointment because it's just the 2 doctors. It is always worth the wait because of their experience! I would recommend them to anyone with animals!“

“WellHaven Pet Health located at Colorado Blvd and Iliff In Denver is a wonderful place to go if you are looking for expert caring and compassionate veterinarians and staff who will give their best to your furry friend. I have dealt with all of the veterinarians there and each one has been outstanding. I recently had to say goodbye to my 10-year-old cocker spaniel with lymphoma and I also said goodbye to a 16-year-old cat that belonged to my son. I recommend Welhaven without reservation for your pets care.“

“Recently, I had the first appointment at Washington Park Veterinary Clinic. I am so excited that we can continue to see Dr. Kelsey Davies!! Dr. Davies has been a doctor to my 4 kitties since 2019. Dr. Davies is by far the best veteranain I have ever known. She is brilliant, skilled, caring, and kind and has a special talent for handling stressed out and nervous pets.

Washington Park Vet is a lovely facility located in one of my favorite Denver neighborhoods.

“Very nice Veterinary clinic. Our girl was spayed and vaccinated before adoption. Rescue paid for everything so not sure about pricing. They did a wonderful job with the spay. She had no pain and her incision area looks great and healed up nicely.“

“UPDATE: I spoke to Donna who was very pleasant and made this situation right. That's fast and excellent customer service. I'm glad that this was rectified and look forward to working with GVR Pet Center to keep my dogs healthy and happy in the future.

New to the area and had a bit of an emergency with my dog yesterday. I couldn't get in touch with our regular vet so I called GVR because they are much closer to our new place and had a similar rating. I spoke to the lady on the phone, explained the situation, and she said an appointment had opened up for 2pm today (Saturday). I told her I'd call back to cancel if I got in touch with our normal vet but that we'd be transferring both of our dogs to GVR soon. She said that was fine.

I got in with our regular vet yesterday and by the time we got back home, GVR was closed. I just called at 8:30 am to cancel and open up the slot for someone else and was told a $30 fee is being added to our account. There was no warning of this from the person I spoke to yesterday and it's super off-putting as a brand new client. I haven't even taken my dogs there and I already owe them money?“

They allow us to have space from other animals as well which really lets our fur babies feel at ease. Everyone we've worked with has been informative and helpful at visits!“
