Stop scrolling and call Nisan ASAP for any foundation needs!!! I was accepted into the CRMP's residential seismic retrofit program and started looking for Earthquake Brace and Bolt (EBB) program contractors. I had 8 companies come out for bids. Some never showed up, others showed up late despite them setting the appointment time and date... imagine the frustration! Then came Nisan! He is no non-sense and honest. He won't waste your time! Out of all the contractors, he was the only one that went over the EBB requirements and proposed work, and was honest about another issue with my foundation. Imagine my surprise when all the other contractors ignored a pretty significant issue that needed to be addressed. His bid was very competitive and he took care of everything!!! Other contractors wanted me to pull the city permits for them, and deal with inspections and uploading pictures and documents onto the EBB portal, but not Nisan! He handled everything, was on time, and very professional! You won't be disappointed!
Dr. Eriksen is a totally to die for dentist! He’s fantastic! I had an achy tooth today and am going away for a month. He squeezed me in and immediately found the cause … and was able to fix it! There have been many other times that I had an immediate problem, and he always made time to see me promptly. The doctor is very available.

Daria gon slay my hair every time. I'm new to wearing my hair straightened so when she was referred to me by my friend who also used to wear her hair natural before locking her hair, I knew I was in good hands. I first started coming to Daria in August. I wanted to have a silk press and hadn't had one in about two years. She got my hair very silky and gave me a much needed trim. Fast forward to three weeks later and I got my hair silk pressed again. I go every three weeks if I am going to do it because of her recommendation and I don't think I should go any sooner. When my hair is shampooed it kinks and coils right back up, so her recommendation along with me following it are achieving the wanted result. I've come to her for a shampoo, aloe very treatment and blow dry appointment before getting my hair braided by my braided. I also got a trim them. My hair is healthy and looks and feels it. Now that it's fall and I've wanted a break from spending hours and hours on my hair, I decided to switch it up and get extensions. She did a great job with everything. I recently went in for my extension maintenance appointment and I just felt pampered. I have not styled my own hair in months. I have a lot of hair so it has been such a blessing for me to find someone who works with my hair type and does it very well. The vibe in here is cool, too. I talk, I read my book, I get a break from doing my hair. Can't ask for more.
We had a great experience with Abhilasha's bridal and groom hair-and-makeup services for our sangeet, ceremony, and reception. Each of the looks she crafted for the bride were unique and top-notch, and the styling she provided to the groom made him look his best during each event. She also did a wonderful job with bridal saree draping and jewelry setting. If you are looking for a high-end hair-and-makeup artist that brings out natural beauty and creates looks that work well with your outfits, then you should definitely go with Abhilasha for your wedding. One of the first things that stood out to us when meeting with hair-and-makeup artists during the early stages of wedding planning was the fact that Abhilasha had a ton of experience with South Indian brides, which is not the case for many artists. Her Instagram also features a wide variety of looks, complexions, and face types that showcases the strength of her artistry and skills. Based on this portfolio of work and the fact that her pricing was fair (i.e., comparable to other leading hair-and-makeup artists in the Bay Area), we felt comfortable that Abhilasha was the right artist for our South Indian wedding. In advance of the wedding weekend, we exchanged stylistic ideas with Abhilasha to ensure that we were aligned on what types of looks we wanted to achieve. During the hair and makeup trial, we tried a look for our sangeet that didn't quite work. Over the next few days, we discussed different options, and she ultimately helped select a look that turned out great for the sangeet. We really appreciated that Abhilasha listened to our feedback and worked with us to arrive at great looks for the different events. Additionally, Abhilasha provided us with great feedback on the jewelry that we were considering for the ceremony. For example, she noticed an inconsistency in style between two elements of the bride's ceremony outfit. Because she flagged this about a month in advance of the wedding, it gave us enough time to find a better alternative. Based on our experience, we highly recommend scheduling a bridal trial if you want to test out a unique look so that you avoid any surprises on wedding day. We were very happy we did this as it made us feel more comfortable entering the wedding weekend. During the wedding weekend, Abhilasha was on-time, organized, and professional. She told us to block off 2.5-3 hours for each hair-and-makeup session, which was an accurate estimate. She paid very close attention to detail and made sure that every look was as close to perfection as could be. She also was thoughtful - she made sure there was not too much commotion in the bridal suite during the pre-reception hair-and-makeup session, which allowed the bride to take a nap while getting her hair done. Abhilasha is a fun, sassy, and honest person, which means you will not be bored during your hair and makeup sessions. Abhilasha also did the groom's makeup for each of the events (it took about 10-15 minutes per event). While some people may not think this is necessary, we found that her makeup made sure the groom looked his best during the wedding photoshoots. Ultimately, if you are planning an Indian wedding in the Bay Area or Napa and want an elevated look for your bridal and groom hair-and-makeup, then you should strongly consider Abhilasha. Her work is top-notch and you will walk away feeling extremely satisfied with your looks for your wedding events.
Walked in, very welcome place. There was 2 women working, I didn't get the name of the woman that greeted me but the on that gave me massage was Mei. Did a whole body massage focused on my pubic bone as that was the area I was tense in. Felt a bit rushed but then again I only paid for a 30 min session. Will definitely be going back! I paid $45 for the 30 mins and 80 for tip since I felt way better then when I arrived.
Glamour! Seriously, come here and buy the most glamorous cosmetics. I found a lip gloss shade I have been wanting since my teens. I always loved and wanted black gloss. The closest I could come to it was at Party City! It was not cute... but this is. Parking was easy for downtown Walnut Creek! Get your foundations et cetera here, too!

I was surprised to find out Eli also uses a face razor (which is given to customers to keep and bring back to future appointments) but this was the most even and snatched my eyebrows have been done in a while. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who also struggles with eyebrow hairs that typically grow away from your face!
My bestie and I share a birthday on NYE and it's our long-standing tradition to start our day with a massage. We had never been to Tranquility Spa but we're very happy with our experience. I normally get a deep tissue massage but decided to have a 60-min. Swedish, followed by the 30-min. salt scrub. Wow! I loved it! Unfortunately I can't remember the name of my masseuse but she was amazing. She asked me if the pressure was ok and really worked out a knot in my shoulder. The facility is clean, all the employees were friendly, helpful and the pricing is reasonable. Conveniently located with plenty of parking. We'll definitely be going back.

Nora is the best colorist hands down! I travelled 3 hours roundtrip, for six months to continue seeing her once I moved to Elk Grove. Her haircuts are always on point and she is one of the most sweetest and kindest people you will ever meet. I've stayed with her for over 6 years and I wish I could clone her so I wouldn't have to drive so far. My daughter (who is now 6) would always ask to go see Nora because that is how warm and welcoming she is. Don't let her age fool you, as her natural talent with scissors and coloring is outstanding. Her mentor, Amy, is also a master colorist and a thoughtful, client-centered business woman. She cares for her clients and always has snacks for everyone and offers high end haircare lines that I can't find anywhere else! Going from black hair to looking like a "natural" blond and every color in between, takes skilled hands and an eye for artistry. I can't say enough of how amazing the salon and Nora are. I would continue to drive 3 hours to see Nora if it weren't for the fact that I work full time and have two kiddos now doing sports on the weekends. My daughter was in need of a good trimming. Our regular hair dresser moved away so we were in dire need of good recommendation. My mother in law see's a hair dresser at this location and was recommended to make an appointment. We booked an appointment with Anna. She was so great. She really helped my daughters hair look so much more even and easier to manage. My daughter has long hair and a few months prior to this cut we got a very bad cut from someone else. Anna did wonders. Her hair looks so much better. It was bouncy and smooth. She loved the feel of it. We will definitely be making our future appointments at Salon Textures.

Upon leaving my previous review, the business owner promptly contacted me. He was genuine and sincere in seeking what the problems were, then immediately went into solution mode. He offered to refund the cost of my cut (which I refused as he is in business to make money), however, I did take him up on making it right and letting him cut my hair on my next trip, free of charge (I left him a tip). Sure enough, the cut is top notch. During the cut, he explained the pricing scale, which made sense. I did let him know that all I wanted was a military style cut, not too high on the sides, beginning with a zero guard. My wife was very complimentary on the new cut, stating that it looks like I've found my new barber. I'd have to agree. Thank you Sonam.

I thought I had reviewed this place before I meant to ages ago. I’ve been coming here for I think about 3 years now. This is hands down the best nail salon in the east bay. It took me a while to find them. I have friends who come from Oakland to get their nails done. If you want your nails perfect this is the place to come. And they have online booking which is super convenient (although annoying when you can’t get an appointment with your favorite person- you have to keep that in mind because they do book up)
Took my daughter and 12 year old granddaughter to have Mani's and Pedi 's to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The salon was clean and welcoming. They did all 3 of us at the same time and did a great job. Would definitely return.

After relocating from Texas, I’ve tried multiple different salons looking for my go to, and I FINALLY found it. Jenny just gave me the best pedicure I’ve had since moving and potentially ever! She was so sweet and ensured I was happy every step of the way. Jenny gave an outstanding massage and scrub and took her time. The polish job looks exceptional, and she cleaned it up with a brush after ensuring it was clean and neat. I’ve found that most salons give you the quickest pedicure with a pathetic massage and semi-decent looking nails, but not Flamingo. I’ll be coming back again for Jenny! You won’t go wrong - trust me!
I paid $120 for a full set and pedicure + tip. Not sure if that’s a normal price. There are no pricing signs anywhere. The ladies are all really nice, but it’s definitely not the best manicure I’ve ever had, even though it was the most expensive. Not the worst but far from excellent. I showed a picture of a Mexican flower I wanted on my nails. They told me no problem but then did some ridiculous design with 4 dots and called it a flower.
The service here is absolutely fantastic. I walked out of the salon not entirely pleased with the work. I decided to go back to get them fixed and was entirely expecting to have to pay an additional fee for the new work being done. They fixed the shape of my nails AND the color for no charge at all. They were extremely apologetic and made sure that I walked away completely satisfied. They spent extra time making sure they were all even and consistent throughout and thanked me for allowing them to fix their work. I was extremely pleased with the service of this salon and the final product once it was fixed! I will definitely be a returning customer.

I had a great experience at Olympic nails! Honestly, I've tried about seven nail places in the Lamorinda area and this was the first I felt satisfied with. The women were really nice, they gave my feet and legs a terrific massage and my nails have lasted for three weeks! I'm not sure why they're not ranked more highly but I had an amazing experience with them and will be back!

I just got my nails done and I requested to be the same as a sample picture design and she did. Overal satisfaction i feel not really welcome to be honest as a customer bcs she was rude and rush, the way the nail technician treat me was rude. But she always check it i love the shape, color before continue to the next step thats the good thing. We did not talk at all during the process , we talk when she asked me about the nail. I tip her $10 cash and paid $65 for these beautiful red acrylic.

Andi is great! I moved back to the area and was nervous about finding a new lash stylist. Andi made me feel super at home and worked with me to get my lashes exactly how I like them (even though I had no idea how to describe what I had been getting). I also love that if I feel chatty, she's great to talk to but if I just want to chill, she has relaxing music and creates a peaceful environment. My lashes are so beautiful! Totally recommend!!!

I found Nail Today off of google maps and decided to go there based on all the positive reviews! Davy and Harry were very welcoming and payed attention detail. This set was only $56 which is very reasonable and affordable considering that it is french tip (which usually costs extra) and had a design. The shop was also very clean and cute inside. Overall would highly recommended coming here!

I get my cut, color, and extensions done here, and since I have thinning hair, Reagan is so thoughtful about making sure not to damage my hair. She also goes above and beyond in finding creative ways for me to get what I am looking for. I have also been looking for someone who can do the perfect ash-brown color for me and I love the mix she has created for me, I always get a ton of compliments on my color. My first time at Woodhouse and I booked a 50-minute Body Balance massage. My masseuse, Lynn, was wonderful. She spent time talking to me about body work and helped me select the fragrances for my aromatherapy upgrade. I also added the CBD enhancer to my service. This was by far one of the best massages I've ever experienced. I normally only treat myself about once a year to a massage, but I'll be coming back to see Lynn again! The facility is also very nice. Well maintained with nice amenities.

I have been going to Bea for almost 3 years. It's a lash experience that is so relaxing that I look forward to my appointment all week. She is gentle, detailed and never rushed. She uses the best lashes and you will never feel your lashes poke you. My lashes are always applied right at the lash line. Bea individually removes the lashes that have been out grown at the beginning of each appointment to ensure your lashes are always on point. I have never had the glue burn my eyes like most lash artist. She specializes in natural, but does an amazing job on my volume. You do not need to look any further if you are looking to change up your artist.

Each of the looks she crafted for the bride were unique and top-notch, and the styling she provided to the groom made him look his best during each event. She also did a wonderful job with bridal saree draping and jewelry setting. If you are looking for a high-end hair-and-makeup artist that brings out natural beauty and creates looks that work well with your outfits, then you should definitely go with Abhilasha for your wedding. One of the first things that stood out to us when meeting with hair-and-makeup artists during the early stages of wedding planning was the fact that Abhilasha had a ton of experience with South Indian brides, which is not the case for many artists. Her Instagram also features a wide variety of looks, complexions, and face types that showcases the strength of her artistry and skills. Based on this portfolio of work and the fact that her pricing was fair (i.e., comparable to other leading hair-and-makeup artists in the Bay Area), we felt comfortable that Abhilasha was the right artist for our South Indian wedding. In advance of the wedding weekend, we exchanged stylistic ideas with Abhilasha to ensure that we were aligned on what types of looks we wanted to achieve. During the hair and makeup trial, we tried a look for our sangeet that didn't quite work. Over the next few days, we discussed different options, and she ultimately helped select a look that turned out great for the sangeet. We really appreciated that Abhilasha listened to our feedback and worked with us to arrive at great looks for the different events. Additionally, Abhilasha provided us with great feedback on the jewelry that we were considering for the ceremony. For example, she noticed an inconsistency in style between two elements of the bride's ceremony outfit. Because she flagged this about a month in advance of the wedding, it gave us enough time to find a better alternative. Based on our experience, we highly recommend scheduling a bridal trial if you want to test out a unique look so that you avoid any surprises on wedding day. We were very happy we did this as it made us feel more comfortable entering the wedding weekend. During the wedding weekend, Abhilasha was on-time, organized, and professional. She told us to block off 2.5-3 hours for each hair-and-makeup session, which was an accurate estimate. She paid very close attention to detail and made sure that every look was as close to perfection as could be. She also was thoughtful - she made sure there was not too much commotion in the bridal suite during the pre-reception hair-and-makeup session, which allowed the bride to take a nap while getting her hair done. Abhilasha is a fun, sassy, and honest person, which means you will not be bored during your hair and makeup sessions. Abhilasha also did the groom's makeup for each of the events (it took about 10-15 minutes per event). While some people may not think this is necessary, we found that her makeup made sure the groom looked his best during the wedding photoshoots. Ultimately, if you are planning an Indian wedding in the Bay Area or Napa and want an elevated look for your bridal and groom hair-and-makeup, then you should strongly consider Abhilasha. Her work is top-notch and you will walk away feeling extremely satisfied with your looks for your wedding events.
Glamour! Seriously, come here and buy the most glamorous cosmetics. I found a lip gloss shade I have been wanting since my teens. I always loved and wanted black gloss. The closest I could come to it was at Party City! It was not cute... but this is. Parking was easy for downtown Walnut Creek! Get your foundations et cetera here, too!

I had existing ear piercings that I just never got to wearing anything in because I didn’t like the jewelry/the back would hurt so I just wanted to go in and buy jewelry for those piercings- I got flat back dainty studs, and wanted the piercer to measure the threads so I knew what I needed in each piercing along the lobe and cartilage. John did a great job placing my earrings and helping pick orientation of the studs. Dineo (I hope I got her name right!) helped me mix and match a couple of options and pick the right ones. The jewelry is very pretty and good quality. I’ll be back again!
My first tattoo and Smoke was the artist! He really saw the vision i was putting out. Smoke made me feel comfortable and kept checking in on me. The way the tattoo came out is so fire!! I recommend booking with him and im for surely coming back to him for more art!

Carlos has done a couple of jobs for me and I found him very knowledgeable. He fixed 2 toilets and figured out where a leak was coming from under my kitchen sink. He is very prompt and reasonable.
HMS plumbing saved the day! My water heater not only went out Monday, but was leaking all in the garage. I had googled plumbers and was scheduled for next day estimates. I called Harry (referred to by my sister) and he was at my house within the hour. He gave his estimate and was here the next day hours before he originally said. He added copper piping, a relief valve that actually worked, new lines, a tray, pvc piping, etc. He told me step by step of everything he did, how to work the ignition, showed how he positioned the valve handles to be reachable. He had the new heater delivered to the house and took the old one away. I am beyond satisfied with his work, his demeanor, and his honesty.
Needed a new kitchen faucet installed and didn't want to do the job myself as the pipes are very old and delicate with lots of corrosion on them. I bought my replacement faucet and called LeapFrog Plumbing, on a recommendation, and the person I spoke with on the phone was very professional and courteous. We figured out a day and time for an appointment and the tech dispatched was on time, courteous, and a huge help. The install was not easy due to a variety of reasons, but the tech persevered and saved the day for me. I was quoted a price for the faucet install which was accurate and told there might be additional fees depending on what else needs to be done which I'm fine with, but the markup on an angle stop valves is egregious. I wish I would have had some indication I'd be charged nearly $200 for an angle stop, especially when Ace Hardware is right down the block and I could have grabbed the part quickly myself.
Once again, I'm very appreciative of the help and everyone was professional, but let's not get greedy with markups.
I reside in the east bay and was in the market for a whole home generator to assist with frequently scheduled brown outs / general power outages. After receiving several in-home surveys + estimates from various companies (some majorly trying to up-sell me on their large cap generators) I decided to go with TJ. TJ was punctual, knowledgeable, not overly pushy, and his pricing was reasonable. I explained my needs and he supplied me with several options while explaining the pros and cons to each. Ultimately decided to go with a portable generator which his crew was able to hardwire into the house. It works great! Total project time took 2 days. After install, he gave me a crash course on generator use + maintenance and even provided an easy to understand instruction binder with a crate of additional accessories. Overall, I would highly recommend TJ and his crew!

I called H&L Chem-Dry because I had a dark, sticky stain from duct tape on a bedroom carpet. I had duct taped a chair mat to the carpet to finish a sewing project for just a couple of days. This business made an appointment just a few days from that phone call. They arrived on time and went to work. They cleaned up the dark stain, cleaned the rest of the carpet, and restored the beauty of the carpet. Excellent service with success. I would recommend this company and use them again.
We hadn't had our carpets cleaned for a couple of years, and I had never had a hardwood floor steam cleaned. Luiggi was really easy to work with and friendly, and they did a great job on both the carpet and the hardwood floor. Next time I need our rugs or floors cleaned I'll call DoItGreen. Highly recommended.
I hired Extreme Clean to clean the house in preparation for staging and listing on the market. They did a very good job getting everything clean including the windows. In addition to a thorough general cleaning, we also had them do a deep cleaning of the entryway tile, which was about 35 years old and the tile in the original bathroom from 1957. Both floors came out really well. The entryway had about 1/4" grout, which was restored to its almost original color and the bathroom floor was the cleanest I had ever seen it. It may not be cheap, but they certainly us our money's worth.
I have used Carlos for housecleaning about 2.5 years now and he always shows up on time and does a great job. He's also really good at communicating and changes in his schedule and is flexible with mind too. The house is always clean and sparkly after he's done. We were desperate when our regular house cleaner called in sick the day before Thanksgiving. I went on line and called The Clean Sweep people. Laura answered the phone and assured me that she might have a crew who could clean our house that day. She was very warm as well as concerned and told me she would call me right back. She did exactly that and told me a crew of two people would be at my house at noon. The husband and wife team showed up and did a good job of cleaning my house. The price was 50 percent higher than I had been paying however I had little choice. They were there and did a good job. I would most definitely recommend them.
I’ve been meaning to do a post about Top Knot Flooring in Walnut Creek. They are owned and operated by a wonderful man named Mike. Mike did an incredibly thorough review of the proposed job to ensure the accuracy of his detailed estimate. They recently installed luxury vinyl plank floors in about 1200 sq. ft. of our home, and they did a phenomenal job!! Mike’s crew had to replace all the underlying plywood and clean up a terrible mess left by the prior contractor who had done ceramic tile for us. Top Knot finished in a week and Mike’s team worked tirelessly and carefully. They did their best to clean up at the end of each work day and carefully helped us move all our stuff back inside. They even helped us put felt pads on the bottom of furniture that could potentially scratch the floors. We felt their work product was a great value for the money we spent and are very happy with how everything turned out. I can’t say enough good things about them!!

We were extremely happy with the service, the communications, the price and most importantly the high quality of work. These guys are true professionals. We ended up also buying the material from them as well as they recently also opened up a store front. This has been one of the best remodeling experiences we have ever had!

Not pushy like some places and very down to earth, easy to talk to answering all our questions. :) It was so refreshing to be informed the night before what time the team would arrive for the job and they kept to it! The team, Steve, Gregory and Christian were so very pleasant, worked EXTREMELY hard and were quite meticulous with their work. We are very pleased with the flooring we chose and were referred by two different households who had their flooring installed by them. I am glad we went with this group because of the quality of product and service. It can be scary to go through a home project, but Steve is very communicative which made it a whole lot easier. Half of my dad's home was filthy with mold. Robert came out and made a quick assessment, offered a good price. It was not the cheapest but there was something about his demeanor and professionalism that led to believe, saving a few bucks wasnt worth going with someone I wasn't as confident in doing the job right. We requested quotes from several contractors for our attic conversion project and decided on LRL. Raz came to the house to discuss our plan and let us know we would need an engineer to look things over before he could bid (this was the common thread of all of the companies we considered). We had an engineer draw up plans to shore up the house so it could hold the added weight of a new room and then got quotes. After meeting with Raz, we were pretty sure we would go with LRL. He told us he wouldn't be the least expensive quote, but might come in a little higher because he treats his employees well, and pays them a living wage. That is a win-win. He has a loyal team of skilled individuals who all work well together and he doesn't have to keep training new people to provide the level of service and expertise required to make customers happy.
Everyone has heard the nightmare stories about contractors who start a job and then disappear, or drag things out, or are just generally difficult to work with. LRL is the exact opposite of those horror stories. Our project was completed on time and at the agreed upon price. It seems like that would be the standard, but I don't think it is with other contractors.
The whole team was great. Everyone was very respectful of our home and they seemed to work efficiently together. While they were doing the main attic conversion project, we asked if they could put up a new chandelier for us, which they happily did. They also repositioned an kitchen island pendant for us. When we had ideas mid-project, Raz and the guys were happy to work with us, consider our design thoughts, and either make them a reality, or help us find a great alternative.
They connected us with an AC expert who sold us a mini-split unit, and his crew worked with the LRL team to reposition our heating return. Raz also has an electrical expert who got everything wired up to take the additional load that a whole new room adds.
The finished product is what really matters though, and LRL delivered! We couldn't be happier with our new bonus room. The added storage capacity has made other areas of our home more comfortable as well. The quality of the work is outstanding. LRL stand behind their work and makes sure that the job is done right. We noticed our front porch wood had been slightly damaged while they were bringing wood into the house, so when everything was done, they sanded and painted it back to its original condition. Once the dust settled and we were able to be in our space again, we noticed something that wasn't quite right. Raz sent the team over a few days later, and they made it right. I have never heard of another contractor being so willing to make everything perfect. I can't recommend LRL Builder highly enough. You can stop looking, you've found the best contractor in the Bay.
Hired them to install three ceiling fans, one in each bedroom. I did not have electrical in the ceiling so they had to run that for me. They did excellent work, no damage to walls or ceiling so I didn't even have to repaint. They did the whole job in one day and I felt the pricing was reasonable. Absolutely would use them again.

We worked with Homerun Design Build to remodel our home in 2022 and had a great experience! We remodeled our kitchen, primary bathroom, added a half bathroom, installed all new floors and windows and painted the interior and exterior of our home.Guy was a great communicator and consistently helped us come up with creative ideas to improve our remodel design, while keeping our budget in mind. I decided to have my house retrofitted when my earthquake insurance more than doubled upon my move to Walnut Creek. Everything about the project went incredibly well -- and the price was reasonable. Udi and his team fixed or remodeled much of our home. We came to them with a variety of problems over multiple years — tricky leaks, stucco and window fixes, doors, kitchen remodel, etc. The guys gave good advice, fixed every problem, had clear and frequent communication and excellent follow through. We have an old home and have worked with many contractors: Udi’s team was by far the best we worked with on any project. Can’t recommend highly enough!

He is extremely responsive answering my first online inquiry the same day, coming to our home to provide a quote within 2 days and actually had an opening he fit us into the same week. I think hating dental work is probably true of 99.9% of the world population, but if you live around here, Dr Mattingly is the best. I broke a crown yesterday and was seen at 8AM this morning. By 9:30 I was paying the bill (not much fun since I don’t have dental insurance) and leaving with a new temporary crown. Dr Mattingly and Maria do great work. She works on the temp crown until it fits perfectly. Everyone from the receptionists, dental hygienists, Dr Tan, and all the assistants are the best!
I had inquired about free tooth scan in preparation for a couple of implants. Becky the receptionist, was very helpful and courteous. Dr. Patel is very professional and thoughtful. I got the free scan and a couple of solutions for my dental care.

I see some old reviews about a Dr Haynes. He sold the practice to a married couple of dentists with the last name Kim. This office was recommended to me by a friend who understands my dental anxiety. I had to take a Valium to get my teeth cleaned 12 years ago and this was the next visit. I took Ativan to clam down for an exam and teeth cleaning. It was so much better than I had even hoped! They were friendly, understanding and very gentle. I had 4 cavities- no surprise there. I am going back to get them filled next week and am not feeling dread or fear. If you have anxiety about dentists, I strongly recommend that you give them a try. By the way, getting twelve years of plaque off you teeth really improves your smile!
Dr. Eriksen is a totally to die for dentist! He’s fantastic! I had an achy tooth today and am going away for a month. He squeezed me in and immediately found the cause … and was able to fix it! There have been many other times that I had an immediate problem, and he always made time to see me promptly. The doctor is very available.

I have been going to Dr. Hubbard since 2012. He always fixes my pain from working out, working, life, whatever. I am currently experiencing excruciating pain in my hip and I can walk again today with minimal pain after not walking yesterday. Whatever the issue, he can fix you! And he's personable, kind and entertaining while you writhe on his table. I always tell people, "he will hurt you so good!"
I have been a patient of Dr. Cancel for over 20 years. He is the most knowledgeable doctor I know when it comes to weight training, injury and recovery. I have not found another doctor, chiropractor or PT that can come close to the knowledge this man has and is happy to share. Years ago he earned my trust by resolving my issues with two or three treatments, no long drawn out recovery program. Many times the manual manipulation is painful, but it is very effective. What I really appreciate is his effort to correct the underlying issues/pain to get you back in tip-top shape and back to the things you enjoy doing pain free.

Dr.Kaplan has helped me a lot with my TMJ/neck pain condition and his adjustments have advance my healing journey. It was interesting to see how after an adjustment, which involves a light touch, I could actually feel and hear my jaw moving to find the right balance and it felt great afterwards. Dr.Kaplan's treatment has also helped me sleep better, my sleep has improved a lot.

I have seen Dennis Barker for almost a year. He is knowledgeable and listens well. I took my XRay and neck MRI to him and he was able to treat me and advise me well. Previous to my first visit, I wasn't sleeping well at night and could not sleep on my back and one side. After the first visit, I was 90% better. He continued to treat me and even suggested things I could get on my own to help improve my condition.
I can finally go into a doctor’s office and feel confident that I’m being cared for. Always feel better a few days after my visit. Thank you for always being available for me.

I have seen several chiropractors, both past and present, and to this day I still feel like Chiron Chiropractic did the most thorough assessment and provided the most insights into my health care moving forward. I was only able to visit this chiro once, in August of 2022, but he left an impression that I still bring up to this day when discussing my back. Wish I could go regularly, as this would be my chiropractor of choice. Thank you!
It took me for a long time to find Dr. Rehl because I was only interested in chiropractors who know about Injury Recall Technique. He is the doctor FOR ME! He has helped me with the problems of my neck and lower back. Last weekend, suddenly I had pain in my heel. He was willing to create a special appointment for me. Now I don't have the pain any more. For the chiropractic services, thumb up for Dr. Rehl. Yet, he has another specialty, i.e. doing muscle testing to determine what supplements you need. I am so hopeful at the moment. Maybe in a few months I can go back to Reviews and update you on this supplement matter.
Love this practice! I suffered a pubic bone injury while pregnant and it was extremely painful to walk, sit, stand, lay, etc. I have been seeing Dr. Kseniya for adjustments and manual therapy and I was pain free in just a couple weeks. She has also been instrumental in helping with rib pain I was having. She’s very skilled, intuitive, and compassionate. I am also learning so much. I plan to keep getting treatment throughout my pregnancy and highly recommend Empowered Mama Chiropractic!

We have been bringing our pooch here for his annual exams and vaccines since we adopted him 5 years ago. They are very responsive and friendly. We have had to have some more intensive treatment too. He had a cyst that they drained and did a biopsy on. It was benign but we decided to have it removed because it kept filling up. The procedure went smoothly, they called as soon as he was awake and able to be picked up, they called us to check in on him that night and the next day. We are so happy with the treatment he receives at this veterinary hospital that come all the way from Oakland for them.
My elderly pup was a new patient and I am very grateful to have come here for my dog because everyone I came across who worked here was so compassionate and caring. The environment and establishment is welcoming and felt at ease here. I really do recommend having your pet come here because I trust that you and your pet will be taken care of!
We have nothing but praise for the staff and the care here. We started going here for physical therapy for a 13 year old dog at Canine Rehabilitation Center. He had arthritis and was also receiving treatment for cancer at SAGE. The physical therapy work they with him made a huge difference. The cancer ended up taking him, but he had very happy, energetic and enjoyable live up until the end.
We now use Muller as our primary vet for two dogs. The vet we were using previously was bought by Thrive and the quality/availability of care became unreliable. The prices are reasonable and the staff are great.
I have a 115 pound older male Bernese Mountain Dog who can be difficult when being groomed. He is also a little nervous in new situations. I was a little nervous myself about dropping him off, but Vivian and her staff made me & my dog feel comfortable and welcome. When I came back to pick up my dog, he didn't see me at first thus I was able to watch him walking around with the other dogs (it's open). He looked very relaxed and happy. AND best of all, he is clean and well groomed. I am very happy with Posh Pup and we will be going again. I have already recommended them to a friend. Thank you!

Tamara is really a gem in her field, I've had five Reiki sessions over the course of 10 years, around six counseling sessions, two pranic/chakra, and two semi- hypnosis sessions all related to an ex, I feel that the rumination and the "make pretend" conversation's have ceased. I had a mountain bike accident years ago, and believed chiropractic care was the best course for my physical health despite still suffering from regular pain. Thankfully, my chiropractor referred me to Clayton Francis for an evaluation to see if Clayton could help me. I've been seeing Clayton now for almost three years and feel better than I have in many years. He explained to me why I still had the pain from the bike accident, and gave me exercises to help develop the surrounding muscles. Clayton explained to me why my back hurt (I was wearing bad shoes), he showed me how to take care of my feet so exercise would be more beneficial, and he's taught me many more things that are invaluable. When I first saw Clayton 3 years ago, I was severely stressed (loss of job, death of a parent after years of caregiving) and in a great deal of pain just about everywhere. At that point, I needed to see him weekly or every other week to get stabilized. Now, I only see him once a month. If you need help finding out how a mystery pain originated, and how to fix it, see Clayton. If you have chronic pain from an old injury like me, go see Clayton. He's truly a magician!

Walked in, very welcome place. There was 2 women working, I didn't get the name of the woman that greeted me but the on that gave me massage was Mei. Did a whole body massage focused on my pubic bone as that was the area I was tense in. Felt a bit rushed but then again I only paid for a 30 min session. Will definitely be going back! I paid $45 for the 30 mins and 80 for tip since I felt way better then when I arrived.
Leah is an amazing massage therapist. She absolutely is the best massage therapist I've ever had. Her space is clean and has nice ambiance. She is responsive to instruction and aware of concerns or injuries. She is knowledgeable about her craft and has varied skills. She knows the proper technique for manipulating the covers to ensure you feel comfortable. She is such a lovely woman and I always feel more relaxed in body and mind after visiting her.

The place is super clean and the foot massage is my favorite. Peter does acupuncture too, I haven't tried it, but I'm sure he's amazing. My mother in law first told me about Bowen therapy after she had been told about it from someone in her over 55 community. I suffer from degenerative disks L5 S1 very painful sciatica down my left side all the way to my toes and sometimes a very painful pulling in my groin which stems from my back I've been told. I've had injections in my lower back, gone to chiro, & PT but my last injections didn't work and I was desperately seeking relief after so many days in tears with constant pain, I made an appointment with Jaime. I didn't know what to expect but after my first relaxing appointment I felt some relief after about the 2nd or 3rd day. After the 4th 1 hour session, I felt better than I had for months! I could walk without a limp, sleep without rolling over in pain, get in and out the of my car, stand in one place place without pain and I even performed in a dance recital! I continue to go see her not as often but will continue to make an appointment as needed. I was hesitant and I took forever to make the first appointment but now I'm so thankful I found her. Although I am a Kaiser patient, they do not have enough pelvic floor physical therapists, so when I asked for physical therapy to help with stress incontinence (no, Kegels weren't the solution for me), they referred me to PHRC. I was able to get in for my first appointment quickly thanks to the friendly office staff. Melinda Fontaine, PT, DPT, was my assigned therapist and I cannot say enough how thankful I am for that. She is warm and open and so very knowledgeable in her specialty. I felt immediately at ease and was able to share with her my symptoms and what I hoped to achieve with therapy. She listened intently and without judgement, asked questions, performed a physical exam, and then set up a treatment plan for me. After demonstrating each exercise, she would then watch me perform them until she was confident I knew how to do them correctly. At each appointment after, she again would ask questions and make adjustments as necessary. I noticed improvement in my symptoms by my second appointment! I have been very vocal in telling my friends, family, colleagues - anyone who I think may benefit - how wonderful Melinda is and about the good and necessary work that is being done at PHRC. And now I'm telling you.

It was my first visit to Dr. Liao for migraines that I've experienced most of my life and it was a very good experience. The doctor is obviously very knowledgeable, experienced, kind, as well as efficient. He explained why I was getting them and how to try to address them at home. I don't know if the acupuncture was effective, but time will tell. Unfortunately, he is closing his Walnut Creek office as of the end of 2022, but his Albany office will remain open.
I have been seeing Dr. Pan weekly for almost 2 months for acupuncture and TCM. Dr. Pan and her assistant are very friendly, experienced, knowledgeable and very good at acupuncture and TCM. She takes her time to learn the patient health issues and designs a custom treatment with acupuncture and Chinse herbs. I am amazed how well she can pinpoint the health problem by reading my pulse. She has an excellent hand with needles and the treatment is almost painless. If you need acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine treatment, you should give Dr. Pan a call. You will be glad you did.
My Acupuncture doctor was working on recurring pain in lower back, legs and feet. She is excellent. I don't have pictures to show. But I'm smiling as I write this review. I'll return to her anytime the pain in my ancient body flares again.

I was referred by my PCP to get 12 treatments for my foot/back/sciatic pain. After the 1st treatment alone, the pain went away for a few days , then came back. By the 3rd treatment , pain level went from 10 to 1. I was skeptical at first but removing blocked energy works in such a natural way with the body. The one hour massage complements the treatment very well .
