“Silicon Valley Eye Physicians is the most comprehensive eye care clinic I have found yet here in the Bay Area. They have a different range of doctors that specialize in different areas. The facility is very clean and spacious. Jessica at the front desk is absolutely amazing. She is so friendly and takes great care of patients. Unfortunately, due to a health concern, my doctor referred me to an ophthalmologist. I called to ask how I can get a copy of my records over to my ophthalmologist. Jessica understood that their portal functionality is very limited right now and allows only one family member per email account, so she offered to email me my records. She left a vm, asking me to confirm my email address. I called back, saying it's ok, I'll be in in a couple of weeks anyways and I'll just provide it then. To my amazement, when I walked in today for my appointment, Jessica already had my records all prepared for me! My appointment took much longer than the one hour I was told, so I needed to dash off to another appointment right after. I didn't have time to go home to put my eyeglasses in their case, so I asked Jessica if she has a paper box or something so I don't accidentally break the only pair of glasses I have. She was so kind and found a box for me! Dr. Johnson is very good with little kids. I like how she errs on the conservative side when it comes to eyeglass prescription, so young children's developing eyes aren't immediately fixed at a higher optic correction. They also have opticians there that can prescribe atropine drops if needed, so you don't need to go to a separate clinic for that. Dr. Wu is great at fitting contact lenses. He was able to improve upon the prior doctor's prescription, and his contacts prescription offered me much better vision. The optics department is also staffed with great people. Heather and Marica are absolutely wonderful to work with. I went in last summer and purchased half a dozen eyewear for the entire family. The initial order had some mistakes. Heather stepped in and made sure everything was corrected and we got exactly what we ordered. Marica is so sweet and patient. I had problems with the eyeglasses I got from them and was explaining to her how another pair I got from overseas fit much better, but the lenses are wrong. She took the time to help me figure out the problem, and did some research to verify that they do have the ability to re-create my favorite lenses here for me as well. I'm so glad my family has this new clinic to go to now for comprehensive eye care. The staff there is knowledgeable, helpful, and caring.“

She doesn't try to upsell or overcharge you for every little thing like other optometry offices. It may be harder to reach her now during the pandemic, but if you send her a few reminder emails, she will always get back to you sooner or later.Dr. Westerbeck is a great new asset to the team there. “I have been going to to Cupertino Optometry since it was first opened more than 10 years ago. I'm so thankful that Dr. Yang bought the practice and continued the excellent care this eye clinic has always provided. I had a little scare over the weekend and talked to front staff Ashley about my issue. Within 10 minutes, Ashley called back with Dr. Yang's referral to a retinal specialist and instruction to go to ER if I can't be seen by the specialist in a timely manner. Ashley also faxed my record to the other clinic right away so they would have some baseline data. I have since been examined by the specialist and also received a call from Dr. Yang inquiring about my visit with the specialist. Over the long phone call, she asked about my diagnosis, took time to answer my questions, and cautioned about certain exercises to avoid while I'm in this state. She really cares! Over the years, I continue to be impressed with the care provided by Dr. Yang and her staff, Ashley and Sadie. They take that responsibility very seriously and it's obvious that they have a genuine interest in the health of their patients. “Dr. Chung is the best!! She is attentive and thorough. She literally saved my eye. Years ago when one of my pupils was scratched and I was in a lot of pain. No other eye doctors made room to help me. I called Dr Chung's optometry, she immediately asked me to go see her when she was fully booked that day. She also went above and beyond during my recovery process. Dr. Chung is the only Optometric I trust. She truly cares! All the staff at her optometry are very nice, welcoming, and helpful!“

“First off, I'd like to say I've never had such wonderful, personalized service for my optical needs. Jeff and Rod are both amazing opticians who deliver white glove service when it came to getting a pair of classes that suited my needs, style, and face frame. When it came to selecting a pair of glasses I was looking for something that was bold, elegant, professional, but could also be used for driving/in the sun. It seemed like I was pursing four types of glasses, but they truly helped me narrow it down to one pair. I ended up getting a pair of designer sunglasses and they were able to order a pair of transition lenses and put them in. The turnaround time was about one week which was great! Store wise, Peninsula Optical is a bright, modern and very clean optical shop. They have a great selection of Cartier and Maui Jim. While I was in picking up my glasses, the Maui Jim representative came in to personally give them the newest styles, so they definitely have the latest and greatest. They also carry their own brand as well. For anyone coming here, do be prepared for street parking as the shop is located on University Ave. Lastly, if you need prescription glasses, make sure to bring your prescription as there is no optometrist.“
