“I met Chris about 16 years ago! He helped me so much with my dog Jack. After he passed at 15 1/2 I rescued a dog named Max who was 3 yrs. old. I was his fifth home and Max did not like rules. I was go grateful for the training I’d had previously but I called Chris and he gave me some basic reminders, including consistency. Max was a challenge, but I was afraid if I gave up on him he wouldn’t have a chance. It was very hard at times but we have come a long way. “We are multiple repeat customers. Kari has given our Newfoundland (Masha) a second home when needed, whether for a few hours or days at a time. I have confidence that Masha's care is sound and her environment is extraordinary. She has plenty of room and stimulation both inside and outside. When we arrive, Masha is excited to see Kari and eager to start play with her and her dog. Our only disappointment has been those times that Kari was full and we have had to look elsewhere.“

“Teaming up with Gonzalo has been the best decision we ever made for Bailey. My wife and I first came across the Human Dog Team when we were looking for more advanced training. We initially had a different trainer that helped prepare us get through the puppy phase with Bailey (9 weeks to 6 months). However, once the basic puppy obedience training was complete, we were looking for something a bit more substantial as we quickly observed Bailey was capable of so much more.

We began our search with the idea that we need to find an adult dog trainer. Someone who can help us better train Bailey to be a confident dog especially as we lived in a busier urban area. We came into training thinking that a well trained dog that does everything you ask of it is all you could ask for. Now, I will admit Bailey is well behaved and responds quickly and eagerly to anything we ask. But our relationship with Bailey is forever changed. My wife and I are always considering how Bailey is feeling and what needs or desires she may have and how that is factoring into each moment.

Gonzalo was the one that taught us what it truly means to be successful and have a team approach with Bailey. She is always so excited to try new things with Gonzalo and continuously grow and show off her sharp mind. More importantly, Gonzalo was able to share his techniques regarding his teaching philosophy with us. My wife and I implement those teachings in everything we do with Bailey and the end result has been nothing short of amazing.

His process is tailored to what will work best for you and your dog. I have no hesitations in recommending Gonzalo to anyone looking to improve their relationship with their dog. There are plenty of trainers that can get your dog to mindlessly do basic commands. But there are only a few, from what we have seen, that care about the deep relationship and potential that you and your dog have as a team. “Amazing dog daycare! We used their daycare as well as their overnight boarding. Our dog LOVED coming here. They are kind and clearly care about each pup. The cameras are nice to have, and they even give the cutest pictures at Christmas and Halloween. They have reasonable prices and lots of love!“

“I received my stabilty service dog Denny last June. Isabelle trained him and he is 100 % perfect. He can dial 911 for me, I couldn’t walk alone for 2 years until I got Denny. Now because he is so perfectly trained I’m getting lots of walking exercise which is very great for my health. “I think Dr. McClemons is an exceptional vet. The office as a whole on the other hand I was less impressed by. The office atmosphere, patience of staff and wait time are 3 star-level but Dr. McClemons and the location are a 5. First, let me praise Dr. McClemons. We have a 3 year-old dog who has been struggling with an autoimmune disease for two years. We have seen multiple vets but Dr. McClemons noticed details and presented options no other vet had. She is knowledgeable, detailed, informative (without being condescending) and dedicated. She called me back on a Friday evening so I wouldn't have to wait until Monday to hear our pup's test results. The office. The location is excellent, right off the 805. There is a canopy outside with metal chairs for you to wait in. I actually prefer this so that I'm not trying to keep my dog away from a cat sitting 3 feet from us in a waiting room. There was a bit of a wait time, 10-15 minutes to get into a room then 10-15 minutes to see the vet. The staff I encountered my first visit were bright, kind and helpful. The second visit was a busy day for their office and staff were less patient and kind that day. The price is comparable to other vets we've visited. They offer a 10% military discount!“

Woof!'s owner/trainer Erin uses the positive reinforcement technique in her every day training to allow four-legged friends and humans to a develop long lasting, healthy relationship.I adopted my little female terrier/chihuahua mix, Cheerio a little over a year ago and I must say I got lucky with the fact that she was already house broken. But dog ownership doesn't just start and end with taking your furry creature out to potty.Unlike other dog training methods out there that emphasizes on the master and pet theory, Woof! teaches you how to live harmoniously with your dog. Cheerio is a loving pet, however, she is sometimes too loving and wants to be the center of attention. Woof! taught myself and my pet that it isn't about making your dog listen to you but rather rewarding them for positive behaviors that they do. Instead of yelling at them because they had an accident or won't sit still is counterproductive and was clear after our first class. Cheerio responds a lot better to "hey, if you sit, you get a treat" rather than "you're not getting a treat because you are barking." Think about it, when you were in school, did you yourself respond better when the teacher punished you?Erin works with your pace and with what you feel you need to focus on with your pup. Every week Erin asks how the week went with the new behavior your furry friend was taught and from there you can decide if you want to work on the behavior more or move on to the next one. What I love most about Erin and Woof! is that it's not just a cookie cutter class. Erin takes her time and really gets to know you, your pup and what you feel you need to work on. And she approaches it in a way that you are not intimidated. She's not there to train your dog only, she's there to train you as well.So if you want to have well behaved pets, as your pet would like a well behaved human, bark at Woof!“

“We went in earlier this week to inquire about board and train & get a tour of the facility. We recently adopted a shepherd from the shelter and he began showing aggression towards humans. We met the owner Ben and he sat with us for 2 HOURS going into detail about his program and educating us on all his knowledge about rehabbing dogs. We had no appointment just simply walked in and everyone treated us so nicely. You can tell Ben absolutely loves what he does. Customer service has been amazing with Jamie, she has been so sweet and patient answering all our calls & questions! We were sold after this. After such a stressful week Ben has given us so much hope that with the right tools and maintenance our pup will be just fine. Koda starts board and train on Monday and we are so excited to see his progress!!“

“I got my cat neutered here about a year ago. Due to the great service of my first visit, I came back to bring my cat for a wellness exam and vaccinations. I was nervous because my cat is a sweetheart at home but doesn’t do well with other people. Even though my cat was hissing and growling they were still being so patient with him. Dr. Dworak was amazing handling my cat. She took the time to give us some advice on his diet to prevent future health problems. My husband and I were really impressed with the whole service. We were worried because we didn’t know how well they would handle my cat’s behavior. The Front desk were very nice and the assistant that helped Dr. Dworak, was so sweet. Usually many people aren’t patient with my cat and are so fast to judge due to his behavior. That’s why it made me so happy how well they treated him. I will definitely come back for any more services my cat may need. This is a place you can trust! My cat means the world to me and seeing how well they did with him warmed my heart. “It was quiet for a Friday night, but had a lot of potential to be a great hangout spot. Food options are limited to fried food and some of the beers ran out on their taps. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends as they have TVs at every direction and plenty of tabletop games to enjoy. Plus the amount of dogs that are there was very enjoyable to watch as a non-dog owner.“

They no longer over night visits but Carlee was so kind enough to reach out to someone who she trusts so that my dog and my cat will be taken care of. “The vet team was very informative with Mustard’s pre dental cleaning to the post dental cleaning. Since this was his first dental cleaning I was very nervous for him. After I picked him up from the vet he was happy to be home; he ate and relaxed in the open window, took a nap and really had no side effects to the dental cleaning. My only negative experience is the cost of the dental cleaning, which was $530. Ouch!!“
