“I came for an eye exam today and it was a great experience! The staff was both friendly, and knowledgeable staff. The Optometrist, Dr Lee-Kim was extremely kind and very thorough. She answered all of my questions and I left knowing my eye health had been prioritized. Then, I was able to select a new frame for my new pair of glasses. I had a great experience, and I was assisted with the ordering process by the Optician. Overall, I would rate my experience in this optometry office as a 5 star experience. Highly recommend!!“

“Great job, everyone! First of all, who still remembers to post a review 2 months later? This one… someone who still recognizes the excellent customer service at this location. I’ve put a lot of years into retail as a seller and in CS, and I don’t think I’ve ever been in a place as a customer where so many of the associates go above and beyond! The attention to detail, affability, patience, professionalism, humanity, and knowledge at this location are off the charts. I know America’s Best is a chain, but these people make it feel like a mom and pop—said in the best way possible. Michael is on it, and on it with a smile! He was very patient with me as he taught my 40yo self how to put in contact lenses. Dr. Huynh was personable, clear and precise. Jessica and Emily also know exactly how to balance being attentive on the job req side with also being easy to work with, and just genuine, good people. “I have been bringing my boys here for 7 years now. They both wear glasses and contacts. Easy to make an appointment, good selection of glasses, and office staff is very helpful in explaining benefits with insurance, costs, etc. overall, has always been clean, organized and efficient. I recently took my daughter who does not currently wear glasses, but has developed some vision focusing symptoms and headaches. I was blown away by Doctors patience in understanding my daughter's concerns. Doctor is very knowledgeable and shows sincere concern to get down to the issue. She did a very thorough vision exam on her, while explaining the reasons for the, along the way. In the end, she was honest in suggesting other options are tried first before purchasing glasses. I appreciate businesses that are genuine about the well being of their patients, rather than making the money. A very knowledgeable and honest optometrist that I will continue sending my family too.“

“I've been going to Tony for probably 20 years for lenses, and for 15 of those years I would drive an hour to see him. He's honest, fair, and fast. I've read the negative reviews on here and I can't say that has ever been my experience, (although I can see that if you came in having a bad day, you might get back what you put out). His customer base is local, older Angelinos, and sometimes when I've gone in there, I've had to put my priorities aside and let Tony service another, very deserving customer, whose first language may not be English. Everyone has a bad day now and again, but Happy Eyes has been a solid business in the area for a very, very long time. I will be sad when Tony decides to retire, and I imagine a good portion of the local Glendale population will be sad too.“

“I've been going to Glendale Optical since I was 15 years old and I'm about 30 something now, always great service. The owner Vosgan is a happy all smiles type of guy. He has a large selection of glasses and contacts and if he doesn't, he'll figure out something to make sure you are satisfied. He really caters about customer service. There are very few businesses like this around still. I would recommend this business to anyone of any age with any style preference. One time I went in and were trying on the retro glasses that he had in the corner and mentioned that I really liked one. I came back maybe a year later and he had made me those glasses in my prescription. I really love this place and I hope that it flourishes and I hope that you get to stop by for your next eye care needs.“
