“Great instructors in a fantastic location. Each instructors have a wealth of knowledge. They enjoy teaching and take the time with each student to make sure they succeed in learning. The facility used was in a prime location. (Close to restaurants and hotels) The facility was clean and had all the equipment you needed to complete each task.“
“Great teachers and community. Our 4y old son is enrolled in their "little dragons" program, and he has shown tremendous growth in confidence and ability to listen. They set a great pace of activities with instructions and levels for the little ones. Very happy we discovered Innovative Martial Arts!“
“Incredible community and top tear coaching. I go there for both the kickboxing and jiujitsu classes. they even offer a free week trial which is super accommodating to someone looking for a new place to train“
“I thought it would be funny to leave a review about a guy with a bad attitude who wants to learn how to beat people up that keeps walking in the door and outside. He can't figure out how he ends up outside the more forcefully he enters the door. He looks up at the frame, it says Aikido Door Company. If you need a locksmith get Lucky but if you need to flip your attitude and roll come here!“
“Dragon Martial arts is relatively new and is a gem that people might miss. Located in the same lot as Kings Paints, this martial arts studio has been a great place to send the kids on Saturday morning while I visit the farmers market just down the street. He's also open after school 4 to 6(?), I'm not sure when the last class starts; but it's a great activity for my son between homework and dinner.Master Will is a fantastic teacher. He's kind, patient, supportive, and great with kids. His school is open to all ages; during my visits it's been mostly kids. I know that Master Will has grown up around here and, being a local, he understands our community.Martial arts has been a wonderful exercise that teaches discipline and gives my kids something to work towards! If you have the opportunity, I'd recommend you give it a shot. The first class is free so it's worth checking out.“
“LightSpeed hosted our daughter’s birthday party. All of the kids had tons of fun. Very well done.“

“An amazing school! Your kids will learn more than just kicking here. Grand Master Choi and her staff are fantastic!“
“This is a True Okinawan following group. It Honors me to make the acquaintance. I studied in Honbu Okinawa in 76, thanks to my Cousin Hiroshi Kinjo, of Itoman Zaha. I couldn’t pass the invite. Viewing their kata in motions, I fell in Love. Anyone having chance to study at this dojo or any of their associates dojo highly recommended. Rei, rei, rei“
“Great Capoeira school especially for the young kids They lean a new language , lean about instruments , lean the dance , and lean self defense . A must for kids who have high energy.“
“The real deal WingChun. Powerful martial art for all genders and ages.Used for self-defense only. What's not to love.“
“An excellent studio on the Westside of Santa Cruz offering a wide array of fitness and martia arts classes.“
“This place is awesome. Drew’s vibe and expertise is exactly what I was hoping for in a BJJ instructor: he keeps it fun and joyful while still explaining the techniques well and the seriousness of getting it wrong in a fight.I also love the combatives system that Gracie does to prepare new folks for successful and safe sparring. They also do fight simulation with gloves when you’re ready which is awesome. If you’re looking for a great BJJ gym that’s a ton of fun, without toxic egos, and great teachers who prioritize safety, then this is the place to be.“
“The instructors are truly gifted in working with kids. The dojo has become an important part of my daughter's life because of the people.“
