She works with my insurance (always knowing what’s covered), she does treatments not a lot of dermatologists know how to do, her bedside manner is amazing, and it’s very easy to schedule appointments.“

“I've been meaning to leave this review for a while, but I forgot. Anyways, Dr. Wu is a major upgrade from the last dermatologist I went to. My acne pretty much cleared a year of going to him when years with the prior derm didn't work. My keloids actually flattened with the kenalog+5fu injections. Keloids are stubborn and they do come back sometimes though, so I have to come in every few months for more injections. His injections don't hurt. As far as American keloid treatment goes this is probably the best around the area. Dr Wu is very chill and reasonable. He will not suggest treatments that he thinks aren't worth it financially. I think Dr Wu helped extend my life by 2 years because my keloids were contributing to mental health issues. While my keloids aren't perfect, they are more manageable and flat.“

“I first saw Dr. Luxenberg in 1990 when I was 17 years old. I have been returning to see him for 34 years now and I think he is such a wonderful doctor. He's very friendly, down to earth, and has a great bedside manner. His staff is very professional, courteous and they go out of their way to help you. If you need to see a dermatologist I would highly highly recommend him!“

“I could genuinely not say enough great things about Dr. Hick and his staff. Today, I brought my 7-year old in with me for a dual appointment. My 5-year old also tagged along. The staff brought coloring supplies out which made them so happy! Dr. Hick was incredible with the kids. He had multiple tricks up his sleeve! He was incredibly kind and made them feel more than comfortable. In addition, he also took care of my skin care issues without a hiccup. I can't recommend him and this office more. “New patient first time here: beautiful office by the way, The appointment was for my husband and today he saw Quint Skipton PA-C. Check in process and waiting was pretty fast we didn't wait that long. (He was just here for an overall check since he has never seen the dermatologist) visit went well, luckily nothing bad was found on his skin. (Just a few sun spots) It was a pleasure seeing Quint, very professional, answering all of questions and concerns. Highly recommend and close by. See ya in a couple of months. Thank you“

“After reading these reviews I was hesitant to schedule an appointment . However , when I called they answered the phone . I was able to schedule an appt within the month .. day of my appointment , I was scheduled at 4 , and I was in the area in the morning .. i called to see if there's anyway they can see me . And sure enough I was squeezed in .. they were more than accommodating , I saw the PA ( I can't remember the names , I'm horrible at name recalling ) .. however both the PA and the MA we're extremely nice and helpful and knowledgeable .. overall great experience .. Everyone tends to post when they have a "negative" experience .... People should hear about the positives as well !“

“After shopping around for a good Dermatologist in the Los Alamitos area, It came down to West Dermatology and Proffered Dermatology. In booking appointments and asking questions, West Dermatology had the WORSE service and availability. I was really impressed by Alexis S. the receptionist who books and schedules appointments. She was friendly and went far and above to answer questions and helping me get the soonest appointment. You're staff say a lot about your office and how you do business. His staff is caring as well and they do everything in their power to give the best administrative medical attention. Dr Heller confirmed a skin condition by using a microscope to see the tissue.
