“As a person entering my 70th year I have had many homes and undergone numerous renovations. All were tolerable but full of the typical frustrations most have encountered. Until I met Eden Roc/Dan Nowell and his crew. I cannot imagine renovations being done more hassle free, and with such attention to detail. Dan has built a guest house and, later, a wine cellar for me. The first was a very substantial project. He helped find the right architect and always had sound advice for dealing with the various permitting issues. Invariably, he had excellent suggestions to make to the architect and later the decorator. They mentioned numerous times what a delight he was to deal with for them. In the same timeframe, I was heavily involved in renovation that my daughter was doing in Marin. The work was fine. It was not, however, the same flawless project experience from start to finish that I have had with Eden Roc.The construction process was perfect, even down to the (trivial?) detail of how clean the premises were left each day (we lived there during construction). Recently I moved to Yountville and had a very substantial landscaping project done. This was not a project appropriate for Eden Roc but Dan took the time to look at the landscape architect’s plans and made several absolutely key suggestions that everyone else had missed. His communication skills, his ability to work with others are simply unmatched. I cannot recommend Dan and his crew highly enough.“

“Highly recommended! Alex and Dennis work with incredible precision, care, integrity and clear expertise. I am part of the Management Team of a small school in Sausalito. Denali Building Improvements laid down the bamboo flooring for one of our large, new rooms. The job was tricky because the floor had to blend with the one in the adjacent room, which is a few inches higher. We didn't want a step because we worried that the kids would trip when walking from one room to the next. The guys did an incredible job, creating a gradual ramp between the two spaces and linking the flooring in the two rooms seamlessly. The floors look great and the difference is not even noticeable!
