“I had a great experience for several years now. Every single time I bring my dogs on multiple occasions for checkups or any other reason, the team members are friendly and professional. The place is immaculate, and the service is first class. I am confident about what to expect on every visit. Therefore, I have no need to go anywhere else. I appreciate the care and kindness my dogs received and will not hesitate to refer anyone who wants their dogs treated with love and compassion. Thank you. ??“

“Very professional. The ladies in the office are very nice. Dr. Dabaco was great. She sat down with me in the lobby and went over my dogs procedure.“

“Look no further for the right veterinarian!Call Donna at the front desk and she will help book an appointment for your needs. We were looking for a new clinic to take our beloved dog, Trixie. She had dental issues that were effecting her quality of life. After meeting with Dr. Barrett, I was convinced we had found our new Doctor. The work has been completed, and now the healing process. Thank you Donna and Dr. Barrett. My wife and I appreciate what you’ve done for Trixie. You’ve given us piece of mind. Thank you.“

“I took my bunny to see Dr Cornelius . He was great. Very nice, knowledgeable and informative. In fact, the entire staff was wonderful. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to their rates/fees. They are kinda pricey....“

“I needed urgent treatment for my cat, who collapsed on a Sunday, and her regular vet is not open on Sundays. The Animal Hospital of Pleasanton was there for us, got us in on a short notice, ran necessary tests.Unfortunately the results were not favorable for the cat, who was 19 years old, she had to be put down. The doctor described all options to us, suggested a treatment, but said that he doubts it would be successful, and also told us that the treatment would prolong the suffering of our beloved pet. This was done with utmost respect and appreciation of our feelings. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place.“

“The people at Sage are amazing. You will definitely pay a premium price but if it is necessary to save your animal then it's something you have to do as an owner. We have nothing but good things to say about the doctors here are so friendly and even give you options to lower costs.“

“I saw an exotic Vet here and she was very helpful. She even recommended me to another vet that specializes in lizards. They are very organized and the staff was very friendly. I think I'll likely visit them again since I have other scaly friends. It was warm and welcome. I didn't feel rushed and felt as if they really cared about my pet. For me, finding a empathetic vet is always my goal.“

“Dr. Tumang had been taking care of our cats and our late dog for years. Doctor VK took over a few years ago, but mostly we dealt with Dr. Alexander. Our current cats are 12 years old. One of them has teeth issues. I'll admit to sticker shock for what was required, but you're paying for a certain skill set on an unwilling patient. New owner Dr. VK explained patiently what was involved, how it could be affecting our baby's health and well being. The end result was good, but yeah, that bill. Understandable, you understand, but still.“

“I really feel the staff and Dr. Singer are honest, informed, and their prices are fair. They’ve helped my dog a lot with arthritis and skin issues and charge less than my old vet in Castro Valley who was not as professional.“

“We’ve been going to this vet for 4 years now ever since we adopted our dog. They’ve always had convenient appointment times and my dog has gotten all her vaccines from here. It is a little pricey sometimes, but definitely a good spot for routine check ups and vaccinations.“

“First, the price. This is a specialist for pets. We're going up a tier from a conventional veterinarian. The price is going to be high, there's just no way around that. I'm fortunate enough to be able to afford it. So as an aside, if your monthly budget can take the hit, consider pet insurance. I was referred to D4A by my regular veterinarians at East Hills in Antioch as one of my cats had developed a severe overgrooming problem they weren't able to get a handle on. I had to be waitlisted for months to get an appointment. It was unfortunate but again, I get it. My actual experience? Very positive. Allie can be a fractious cat with some vets, but she was apparently very well behaved here. Dr. Wendy Terry is *wonderful.* She and the D4A staff are *thorough.* The appointment time was long but I never felt like it was wasted time. And I was struck by Dr. Terry's approach: very knowledgeable, very communicative, and very warm. They will send you home with detailed information on what's going on with your pet, what your treatment plan is, and what to do if you run into problems. When I did run into issues, Dr. Terry went out of her way to call me during the evening and spent a good fifteen minutes of her off hours working out our next steps with Allie. I can't speak to the negative experiences other people seem to have had. It's entirely possible there's a staff member here that I never interacted with who just straight up sucks. I just know my experience with the staff and especially Dr. Terry was very positive.“
