At 72 years of age, I have many years of experience with dental offices and dentists.

This provider stands out for several reasons so I want to let others to know the reason I am recommending them.
1. They serve both HMO and PPO Delta Dental patients!

Many dentists will not accept HMO MEDICARE which often serves folks unable to pay higher premiums, because the HMO plan reimburses dentists at a lower rate. Unfortunately, the ones that do, in my experience, often pad their bills by adding procedures not coveted by insurance. These costs are passed onto patients as out of pocket costs. The providers often refused service unless I was willing to pay!
2. Cali care dentists offer the most current dental care practices which Delta refuses to cover. Fortunately, CALI Care will let you know which costs are not covered by insurance before they initiate the care.
3. The front desk is very knowledgeable and responds quickly via phone.
4. Their hygienists and dentists provide the most thorough deep cleaning!
6. You feel welcomed as soon as you enter the office; and feel you are amongst friends!

Every other DELTA HMO provider I DELTA’s Medicare HMO program (tried4) referred me to, with one exception, employed very deceptive practices designed to earn money for procedures not covered by the HMO Medicare plan. CALI-Care is different; they are honest brokers whose owners are onsite and seem to have their patient’s best interests as their primary goal. Kudos to them!”“

“If you are needing a crown and would like to have it done on the same day, Preferred Dental is your place. Dr. Scott has the technology in his office to make the crown and best of all, the fit of the crown is perfect. It is very apparent to me that Dr. Scott has experience and knowledge to make a great crown. My experience with crowns at other dentists had either too much of a gap or the bite wasn't right and I needed to go and have the crown adjusted. I moved out of state and after a negative experience with another dentist, I decided to return to Preferred Dental Care.“

“I’ve been going to this dental office since 2001. Dr. Ching took over from Dr, Bich and she made a great decision in turning over the practice to him when she retired. I loved the service with Dr. Bich. Dr, Ching, Christina, Linda, and Crystal really took care of my major and minor dental needs over 15 plus years. They are always patient about explaining before every procedure, even if it’s just x-rays. I drive from the Berkeley area 2-3 times a year and never regret it because the quality of service and care.“

“I was referred by my co worker and I am glad that I did. The dental office is not only beautiful inside and out but as well as all the staffs . Dr. Diaz and Dr. Maniego are very professional and their clinic offers the high end state of the art that all dental office should have .
I and my family are very picky and choosy when it cones to our teeth . But this time I said i should go first and then I will bring my husband then my kids after. I am glad we all did. My family got all the treatment that we need and deserved we are all happy to cone back
They are very particular that each and every patients will have a good oral hygiene which is the key for good health.
