“Grant with Noble Dog Training is very professional, patient and knowledgeable. He is willing to work with clients where they are at, time and lifestyle wise to get the best results possible under those circumstance. He is worth every penny…I highly recommend him and his program.“
“We took our puppy, Groot, to Man K9 for obedience training and had a great experience. Our trainer, Ricky, was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and truly understands canine behavior. He provided us with useful tips from puppy teething to how to probably use a correction collar. This place and trainers are awesome! Also, if you buy your correction collar from them, you can exchange it for a bigger size at no charge! Assuming the chain is in good condition. This was a plus for me! I just had to get a bigger size for Groot and it was so easy to make the exchange. Super friendly staff as well!!“
“Very professional, excellent customer service.
Wort the 3 hours drive from home . Going back as much as my pets needed. Definitely recommend“
“This is hands down the best doggy day care and overnight boarding in San Diego. Our 2 rescue pups have come here several times over the last few years, for as long as 6 nights, and every time I’m blown away by the level of care provided.
One of our dogs is super friendly, while the other is much more shy and still getting used to strangers and other dogs. Our shy dog needs to be with her sister at all times, and isn’t always the best at communicating her feelings - and Dog Days always provides us with thorough updates on how she’s doing and accommodates her little quirks (like needing to be in the small dog area despite being 50 pounds, ha) to make sure she’s doing well & that all the other dogs are comfortable too.
We’ve also used their transportation drop off service, and there was a hiccup once where our shy dog was having some barrier aggression when getting into the van. Rather than throwing their hands up and asking us to come get her, DD gave her and her sister a PRIVATE ride home - we were obviously a bit mortified but so relieved that DD handled the situation so well for all dogs involved. They gave us a robust rundown of the situation and recommendations for how to handle similar issues in the future.
And whenever we call to check in as anxious dog parents, they always give us detailed notes on their behavior and health as well. We also love that they have extracurriculars for the dogs, like hiking outings, too!
Dog Days is truly the most professional level of dog care you can get in San Diego - and while the rates do reflect that, it’s absolutely worth the peace of mind. Ziggy and Nova say thank you!!“
“Great friendly, and welcoming trainers! The owner and staff really showed the care and love with what they do. The results I got back were Fantastic!“
“Down To Earth dogs is clean, spacious, and designed with dogs in mind. There are various play areas for different sizes and temperaments, ensuring that every dog feels comfortable and safe.
What really sets Down To Earth dogs apart is their attention to detail. They provide regular updates and photos throughout the day, so you can see just how much fun your dog is having.
If you’re looking for a dog daycare and boarding business that truly cares about your pet go to
Down To Earth Dogs.“
“I started bringing my pups to Pupper Club and love their daycare for my little one. I also started grooming services and she looks adorable. 5 Stars! Love Pupper Club!“
“We are multiple repeat customers. Kari has given our Newfoundland (Masha) a second home when needed, whether for a few hours or days at a time. I have confidence that Masha's care is sound and her environment is extraordinary. She has plenty of room and stimulation both inside and outside. When we arrive, Masha is excited to see Kari and eager to start play with her and her dog. Our only disappointment has been those times that Kari was full and we have had to look elsewhere.“
“Amazing dog daycare! We used their daycare as well as their overnight boarding. Our dog LOVED coming here. They are kind and clearly care about each pup. The cameras are nice to have, and they even give the cutest pictures at Christmas and Halloween. They have reasonable prices and lots of love!“
“Teaming up with Gonzalo has been the best decision we ever made for Bailey. My wife and I first came across the Human Dog Team when we were looking for more advanced training. We initially had a different trainer that helped prepare us get through the puppy phase with Bailey (9 weeks to 6 months). However, once the basic puppy obedience training was complete, we were looking for something a bit more substantial as we quickly observed Bailey was capable of so much more.
We began our search with the idea that we need to find an adult dog trainer. Someone who can help us better train Bailey to be a confident dog especially as we lived in a busier urban area. We narrowed down our search to a few different trainers, but eventually we went with Gonzalo and have been working with him for over 2 years now. Our mindset with dog training has completely changed since working with Gonzalo.
My wife and I wanted to find a dog trainer and we found so much more. Gonzalo challenged us to believe in a world beyond a well trained dog. He inspired us to value the unique personality Bailey has and how our relationship with her can be one of companionship and team based. We came into training thinking that a well trained dog that does everything you ask of it is all you could ask for. Now, I will admit Bailey is well behaved and responds quickly and eagerly to anything we ask. But our relationship with Bailey is forever changed. My wife and I are always considering how Bailey is feeling and what needs or desires she may have and how that is factoring into each moment.
Gonzalo was the one that taught us what it truly means to be successful and have a team approach with Bailey. She is always so excited to try new things with Gonzalo and continuously grow and show off her sharp mind. More importantly, Gonzalo was able to share his techniques regarding his teaching philosophy with us. My wife and I implement those teachings in everything we do with Bailey and the end result has been nothing short of amazing.
Gonzalo will take the time to get to know you, your dog, and what relationship you currently have and what you want to have in the future. His process is tailored to what will work best for you and your dog. I have no hesitations in recommending Gonzalo to anyone looking to improve their relationship with their dog. There are plenty of trainers that can get your dog to mindlessly do basic commands. But there are only a few, from what we have seen, that care about the deep relationship and potential that you and your dog have as a team. Gonzalo will take your relationship with your dog to the next level if you work with him.
Plus Gonzalo's husky, Blue, is such a great companion for your dog when you are working on socializing and creating/maintaining space in a safe way. Bailey and Blue are inseparable when they are together. Thank you Gonzalo!!“
“Kate is amazing. She is kind, compassionate and really works with you to meet the needs of your pet. She gives you daily updates in writing with photos so that you can feel completely comfortable leaving your pet. She goes above and beyond in her care.“
“Riley loves his trainer Tim! We were so nervous at first and wanted to make sure we were starting the right training program for our pup. Tim exceeded all our expectations. His patience and expertise have made a huge difference in Riley's behavior and our confidence as dog owners. Tim's approach has been so effective for Riley, and he’s always SO excited to see him when we drop him off. We couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend Tim to anyone looking for a dedicated and skilled dog trainer.“
“Chris and Barbara were happy to administer medications to our older dog. She was well cared for and we will definitely be calling on them again.“
“Erin is an amazing trainer. She met with me even before I took my puppy home to make sure I was prepared. She is patient and always willing to answer questions. The puppy class is kept small and lots of individual attention. Her fear free, positive reinforcement methods are exactly what I was looking for. My puppy is thriving. Plus my pup LOVES her.“
“Margaret and Callie took care of my cats for a few days. I am so glad I found responsive, attentive, and caring cat sitters! It is obvious how much they care about animals. My cats are happy and so am I. I’ll definitely be reaching out to them again.“
“Jessica is caring, knowledgeable and fantastic with dogs. Thank you for all your help.“
“Whether you make a phone call or walk through the front door it's immediately evident that everyone at RSCPC is there to help your furry friend. The staff at the front desk, the doctors, the techs and everyone behind the scenes truly work to give my dogs the best care. They take the time to explain everything I need to know about procedures and medications - and they make a point of getting to know my dogs' specific personalities and needs. Thank you Rancho San Carlos Pet Clinic!“
“It was quiet for a Friday night, but had a lot of potential to be a great hangout spot. Food options are limited to fried food and some of the beers ran out on their taps. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends as they have TVs at every direction and plenty of tabletop games to enjoy. Plus the amount of dogs that are there was very enjoyable to watch as a non-dog owner.“
“Amazing and trustworthy pat care run by reliable and very kind people ❤️ strongly recommend their services ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“After a few months of consistent daycare and a boarding stay, I can confidently say I would recommend Fon Jon to anyone and everyone who needs a place for their furry friends to have some fun. My dogs are always, always happy when we arrive even a block away and are happy as a clam during pick ups too. Being a helicopter mom with rescues, I tried four different highly recommended facilities here in San Diego as well (gotta see them all to find that perfect fit!!) and my dogs truly made the decision for me. I was worried because this is an indoor and outdoor kennel facility and being rescues, you never know how they will respond being back in a place like that but you can tell right away it's nowhere near the same type of an environment & the staff really does care and I see it every single time I'm there! Anthony, Ed, George and Minah are always so loving with every furry friend that comes through and so are the rest of the staff when I see them for pick ups! Being such a high volume facility for a small local business, I just ADORE that they make each dog feel loved and cared for and like a true VIP! That makes the BIGGEST difference (to me). I do advise everyone to shop around and make sure you are exploring all your options because everyone's going to have specific wants and every place really does have something unique to offer, but I can truly see why Fon Jon has been a staple for SO LONG in the industry and San Diego!!!! PROS * Pricing is great for the area & compared to other facilities I visited (especially since they offer a wider variety of play packages - boarding and daycare is a luxury of course so finding reasonable pricing is a push and shove) * They have options for one of my dogs who is not dog friendly so he still gets play time (I've heard his human best friend is Andrea) * Staff is always friendly and inviting * They supply almost everything for boarding so it eases my load (even dog food if needed) * They are VERY thorough with the check in process (sometimes a con if I'm in a rush but overall very important to me personally haha) * Offers cat daycare and boarding too!! * Kind of a 2 in 1 if you need training since they offer training services too - haven't used these yet but have heard good things * I can get basic grooming done here if needed so it's a one stop shop CONS * Wish they had a live cam but Staff had very understandable and reasonable explanations for not having so * LOTS of paperwork and less digital filing or portals but I'm ok with that (haven't had any issues so far) and appreciate the thoroughness more often than not * Not as modern as other places but aesthetics are the least of my concerns if my dogs are happy * Parking... but only bad if you come during peak pick up/drop off times * Really want more activity on social media!! ): OVERALL : 9.5/10 Thank you For Jon!!“
“Was recommended by another pet sitting business and couldn't be happier! Jen and her staff were amazing with our two cats while we were out. The daily updates were super detailed and we loved the pictures they sent each day! Will definitely be our regular cat sitters“
“We dropped Jax off for a training program and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They assured us that he would be well taken care of and that we would get timely updates. Aaron seemed very knowledgeable and asked a lot of great questions to ensure they understood Jax's needs. We will update the review after his 3 week training is complete but so far, great experience!“
“Vincent and Shirine are incredible!!! After our travel plans changed they were more than happy to accommodate our furbaby Ragnar True animal lovers that are always willing to help. We will absolutely be back. Definitely recommend to you all ? !!!!“
“Worked with Maryna for a five day reverse board and train with our 4 month old cattle dog. He is very fearful of strangers and she was kind and patient with him. She provided daily pictures, videos and updates. He has a long way to go but we already are seeing improvements!“
“I moved my 2/3 pug 1/3 pittie-boxer foster fail love bug (Juan Pablo) from Camp-Run-A-Mutt to Paw Commons for doggy daycare.
Paw Commons has by far been the better experience for our pup. First, there is way more space, a great water feature where the dogs who want to get wet can frolic, and there are way fewer dogs (or simply just way more space for them).
My pup stopped wanting to get out of the car at the former place where at Paw Commons, he is super excited to go and jumps happily out of the car when we arrive.
This speaks volumes of the difference in experience he had. The humans at both places are professional and kind, it just seems like the dogs have a little more room to play, jump up on various things, hide under things and of course engage in water play if they want. 10/10. The owner of Paw Commons is very passionate about providing an amazing experience for the dogs. Perhaps something about being a franchise like Camp-Run-A-Mutt they need to get as many dogs as possible crammed in on any given day.
Attached is a screenshot from the live cam where JP was walking precariously close to the water (which he generally hates, lol) and a pic of our very happy, tired boy when he got home.“
