“Attending the hot Pilates class at Mission Yoga is an invigorating and empowering experience. Steve's infectious energy and motivational teaching style kept me fully engaged and motivated throughout the session. His passion for fitness is truly inspiring, and I left the class feeling both physically and mentally rejuvenated. I highly recommend this class to anyone looking for a dynamic and fulfilling workout experience.Coco“
“Everyone was very nice and friendly and welcoming. The instructor was great! The studio is perfect for me and not pretentious.“
“I've been training with Charles for a little under 2 years. He's the first personal trainer I've ever had and it's been a transformative experience. I went from never deadlifting to deadlifting 315lbs, among other milestones.Just trust the process with Charles and you'll be amazed with the results.“
“Jane Sanguinetti is a truly remarkable human. She has been a beloved friend since we were in our teens and I have been studying Intentional Creativity with her for more than two years. Through the medium of paint and canvas, I have worked through trauma and achieved soul-healing to a point where my inner and outer worlds have been transformed remarkably for the better by the deep healing Jane and IC have to offer. All but the first painting group have been done virtually through Zoom group sessions. The deep wisdom, compassion, and love Jane embodies and the Red Thread community members are such an incredible gift in my life, I am grateful for every moment I spend with them and I look forward to spending the rest of my days in their loving spiritual embrace of friendship, community, love, and ART! I whole-heartedly recommend Jane for any of the many offerings she has at Joy of Being. She is a true blessing in my life and you deserve her in yours.“
“My 2 children have spent 2 full summers at Petit Pas. We didn’t even look to have them enrolled elsewhere because they have always had such an incredibly enriching and exciting experience.Virginie, Lena and all the staff at Petit Pas are incredibly gifted artists who are so passionate at creating the most fantastic environment for children to explore and thrive in all facets of acrobatics, dance, art, creativity and other forms of self-expression.The staff is also super dedicated to the wellbeing of their campers and keep their safety top of mind at all times.I fully recommend Petit Pas if you are looking for your children to emotionally grow and have wonderful experiences! I can’t wait to enroll both my children in next year’s sessions.Thank you, Petit Pas for not only providing peace of mind to parents but also for making such a positive impact to the lives of so many children. Bravo!“
“Monica's skin treatments are sublime. She's clearly passionate about her work, and possesses an impressively encyclopedic knowledge of the botanical components used throughout the process. Just last night, she treated me to an Ecuadorian clay mask, hemp oil massage and deliciously scented Madagascar vanilla aromatherapy. I've never had the same treatment twice, as she customizes the experience according to my mood, and mixes custom oils and lotions on the spot. I always leave Monica's treatment room refreshed and glowing, and inevitably fall into a beautiful deep slumber once I arrive home.“
“Wendell was incredibly knowledgeable and I got so much out of a single session with him. He asked me questions at the beginning to personalize the experience for my specific back tension. He is a perceptive and skilled massage therapist and I will definitely visit again. Thank you!“
“Joe is great! Possibly the happiest person I have ever met. I loved the class, the energy and community.“
“This was my introduction to reiki, massage and acupuncture. I worked with three different people and they were all engaging and educational in their approach.Community Well brought me to new levels of relaxation during my entire time and I left feeling more in-tune with my mind, body, and spirit than I ever have before.“
“Jasmine (owner) at Lotusland, nourishes mind, body and spirit. I always leave feeling like I’ve been to a combo therapist/trainer/priestess and I learn something every time. All the other teachers at Lotusland are fantastic as well ?“
“The Mats is a cozy little yoga studio that has become my escape for self-care. The studio space itself is a little small but I love how intimate the classes are! They provide quality yoga mats, blocks, blankets and bolsters so you can focus on your flow if you're new and don't have equipment.I've been attending classes here for a few months now and have found an instructor for every mood. Stephenie's evening classes are perfect when I want a slow, meditative flow. She gently guides us through poses and holds each one long enough for my body to fully sink in. I always leave her class feeling loose and limber.Joann's morning Hatha class is great for de-stressing. The sequences are simple but rejuvenating. We move through meditations and breathing exercises at a leisurely pace. When I want more of a challenge, I go to Josh or Tiffany's Vinyasa classes. They seamlessly flow us through faster-paced flows focused on breath and building up to more advanced arm balances or backbends. Both are so encouraging and help modify poses for all skill levels. I come out of their classes energized and empowered.Overall it's a gem for anyone looking to establish or deepen their yoga practice. I feel lucky to have discovered this oasis in my neighborhood!“
“I love this studio, it’s intimate and bright. Becca is an absolutely fantastic teacher- she understands joint hyper mobility, so if you find yourself super flexible and with a sore lower back after classes, take her class- she can help you correct poses so you don’t hurt yourself and stretch muscle, not connective tissue!“
“Easily my favorite studio in the Bay. Traditional, straight-forward yoga by highly experienced teachers. I can't recommend them enough.“
“Have been a patient for 4 years. Helped me immeasurably during my pre and post op for hip replacement. Also, tutored me in refining my yoga postures and walking alignment. This lady know what she is doing.“
“I had never taken a yoga class in my life. I tried Excelsior Yoga looking to improve my flexibility, but what I got was so much more. My practice with Excelsior has helped my tennis, running, weight lifting, even playing guitar. Plus I just feel physically great all day, a thousand little daily movements are easier and I'm not only more flexible but also more balanced, focused, and calm... dare I say younger? As a beginner I take the Gentle Yoga class, first in the studio and now (writing during the pandemic) online. Nilo does a good job of keeping things moving while also taking the time to explain when necessary. He is at once a tranquil and inspiring presence. If you've never tried yoga before, this is a great place and now is a great time to start.“
“A really well lit, clean and relaxing studio.I am new to yoga took a class with Michael who clearly explained each move.I really enjoyed the class and felt relaxed and loose after.“
“I've attended their prenatal yoga class throughout my entire pregnancy. Each session not only teaches you how to adapt your practice to your changing body but also imparts valuable coping mechanisms for labor. The instructors bring their unique flow to each class, making every class interesting. It's also a wonderful opportunity to connect with other pregnant women and share experiences. I highly recommend this prenatal class for anyone looking to support their body and feel good throughout pregnancy.“
“I can’t say enough good things about PBY in Pacifica! Tommy and all of the instructors are amazing and have created one of the most warm and welcoming communities I have ever been a part of. The classes are amazing and there is always someone to help you with alignment or questions. PBY has become like a second home to me where I can relax and replenish from all of life’s stress. The studio is so clean and welcoming and the perfect day is to take a class and then relax in the soothing and relaxing back garden with some cold water, fresh fruit and a little waterfall humming in the background. Come by PBY and enjoy!“
“Overall a fine stay. I came during off-season, so there weren't a lot of guests there besides me. I'm sure the place is buzzing during tourist season.Room for improvement: Staff communication in English (though I could always get help from the 2-3 English-speaking staff via Whatsapp). Also there were some celebrations from nearby retreats that caused a bit of noise in the evenings, but this was nobody's fault.Great: 3 teachers (Shubham, Neeraj & Tilak), excursions, location near river and mountainside, tasty food, retreat environment.“
“Best yoga I’ve been in the Bay Area. Highly recommend and love the meditative, deep impactful stretch and practice“
“Today I had the best class with Anny. She was so encouraging and created a safe space for this beginner.“
“Love Folk’s variety of classes from yoga flow, power flow and yoga sculpt. Great to build my yoga practice and now develop strength and cardio. Anny Huang’s yoga sculpt class today was fun and eclectic. The class started with a meditative grounding and then built up to a fervor where I felt like screaming hallelujah ?. Then the practice closed with a meditative shavasana. Quite a unique experience.“
“Quiet and peaceful yoga class and great teacher. I feel so good all day after practice. I like to come here to practice because i don’t feel pressure to wear fancy yoga clothes or do advanced postures. Highly recommend!“
“My favorite yoga studio in SF. I love all the instructors at this location . I usually take Neil’s class . His class is intense , combination of meditation and core workout with his amazing live drumming rhythm. I feel rejuvenated and re-energized after his class . Usually his class is packed with many people so if you mind having too many people around you , this is not the right class for you.“
“I attended DanceVibes classes for about a year before moving out of California. DanceVibes gave me confidence, an outlet, new skills, a routine, and community. Jamie's a fun, sassy, and inclusive instructor. Melissa and the guest speakers they had were also great. You can tell how much they love their program by the themed classes they hosted, parade they participated in and how they adapted to COVID/remote classes. Take a class if you can!“
