“I recently contacted the cemetery to obtain information in a genealogy search. The staff was very helpful in answering several questions as well as directing me to articles that explained the cemetery's history. Thank you!“
“I would like to thank all county cremation service for tending to my brother, whom wanted to be cremated. They picked up his body with love and caring and much dignity. I was so impressed with the person who picked him up his name was Henrique. God bless him for his courtesy and care for my brothers remains. Again thank you to all county cremation services I recommend this service to all in need of a cremation.“
“This company, all its employees and the man who is the director are professionals and excellent people who also make you feel like family, I thank you with all my heart for all your kindness during these most difficult moments in life, many blessings“
“Golden Hill Monument was recommended to me so I made an appointment to meet with Henry. I found that he was very knowledgeable on the Chinese characters etched on the gravestone when my father passed away many years ago. He made suggestions and we took the e one that made it consistent with the characters etched for my father. We were also very satisfied with remaining services performed on the reconditioning of the gravestone. Happy with the work performed and would highly recommend them!“
“Sneider & Sullivan & O’Connell’s Funeral Home has the kindest and professional staff. They took care of everything. The facilities are warm and inviting as well. Great location.“
“Pierre at Bocci demonstrated unparalleled professionalism and empathy, guiding my family and I through the design options and ensuring that every detail honored the memory of my beloved father. He patiently listened to our ideas and preferences, offering valuable insights and suggestions along the way. During this heartbreaking time it was very important that we were heard with our insight on what we wanted to get done. Pierre did just that and we are very grateful. Thank you Pierre at Bocci.“
“Wow! I'm so glad I found this location. Everyone here is so professional and I love that they're a small business because they really took the time to walk me through everything for my moms funeral. For them being a small business, I'm so shocked to see how much options they have and they're price points are very competitive. The parking lot is big and the chapel is well kept. I highly recommend them if ur looking for something more intimate with more privacy with your family.“
“helped me through a very difficult time with reassurance and calmness. I was informed all the way through the process.“
“Outstanding experience, especially given the circumstances. Super caring people all around and Jack was outstanding. All details planned perfectly, definitely exceeded our expectations. Would absolutely recommend!!“
“My experience with Paul Larson at the Chapel of the Highlands was as good as it could be during this sad time. I had no idea what to do when a loved one passes, and Paul Larson at The Chapel of the Highlands explained the whole process to me and made it as easy as possible. During this most difficult time Paul was there to help me every step of the way. I called him when my uncle was in hospice, and he told me that when my uncle passes to call immediately, and they would come and remove his remains. He then arranged everything needed for a wonderful service. He contacted the Veterans Administration to arrange a military service, he made the arrangements with the cemetery and the florist so that everything went smoothly at the service, and since my uncle was not religious and had no pastor, he performed a wonderful eulogy at the service. I highly recommend the services of Paul and the Chapel of the Highlands!“
“We laid to rest my mother in law and my husband's mom and children's grandmother. It was so sad but this Japanese Cemetery is so lovely and well kept. Many of my husband's relatives are here and on some of the sculptures are the names of the living who will go there when they pass. After placing her ashes in the little house, we walked the pristine grounds. No one was there but there was a sense of peace and calm. It is such a well-maintained place. Beautiful yet humble.“
“In Feb 2024 we held my Dad's service at Chapel by the Sea; the service was beautiful, intimate, and my father honored as he deserved. Armando demonstrated a level of professionalism coupled with years of experience, in guiding us through every step of the planning process, cost, and all aspects of the service ensuring we honored my Dad's life and military service. When my Dad passed, I contacted Armando and from the time Chapel by the Sea came to pick up my Dad (the men were very respectful) to the actual memorial, things went pretty smoothly. Armando drove a lot of the behind the scenes details and administrative work. The USN Military and gun salute arranged by Armando were executed flawlessly, paying tribute to my Dad's service with the dignity and respect he deserved. The atmosphere of the funeral home provided a comforting and peaceful space for the celebration of my dad's life. Overall, I cannot recommend Chapel by the Sea/Armando Santana highly enough.“
“My dad and I got our plots together about 25 years ago and arranged our cremation together at Neptune at the same time. My mom gave no directions on what she wanted so my sister and I decided to bury her there also, so mom is across a little road from us. My dad and I liked that it was local, private, and not in the fog like so many others – I know it shouldn’t really matter at that time but it did to us now. This historic graveyard is nestled amongst houses in a neighborhood setting hosting Mausoleum’s and graves containing historic local names such as Crocker and Parott’s. Kathy who works there is great. You can find sites for casket grave burial as well as cremation interment burials. Parents of people I grew up with are there as well as my childhood next-door neighbor. I feel like the ground “greenery” around the gravestones and stuff could be kept nicer to make it a little prettier but the location is perfect.“
“Just placed my 91-year old mother in her space yesterday, 8/19/21, and our family was very happy with the service we received here. The grounds crew showed us a lot of compassion and performed the lowering of my Mom's casket with great care. They made good eye contact with us and treated us with great respect. As a recent retiree of both the cemetery and funeral home business, I always say that the cemetery grounds crew are typically the most caring of the employees.I had purchased my family's six double-depth spaces back in 1/12/1980and, as with home prices, cemetery prices have really gone up! Luckily, I made the right decision over 41-years ago to get these spaces. My mother is the first to use one of our spaces. This is a nice cemetery. There are some in the area that may have greener grass and there are some with lesser green grass. However the service (both in the office and on the grounds) is comparable, if not better, with the so-called higher end locations. I am happy with Greenlawn.“
“I am very satisfied with the selling of my property offered by Cemetery Property Resales.Even though it took a while, I always had trust in this company and am thankful to Terry and the staff.I highly recommend the Cemetery Property Resales for your needs.Tam Nguyen“
“Chinese Christian Cemetery (CCC) is one of four cemeteries located on a hillside in Daly City, very close to Colma. CCC is located between Tung Sen Cemetery and the Russian Sectarian Cemetery. The two acres of land was purchased in 1898 for $1000. I have been visiting this place all my life. It's not a very well maintained cemetery. Mostly it's uneven bare ground, sometimes hard to walk on. Some of the headstones date back to the mid-1800's, some markers are unreadable. My parents are buried here. It's a quiet and peaceful place. Yes, it could use some benches, paved walkways and water faucets that worked. But all that matters to me is.....it's a peaceful place. God Bless“
“I called today to get information on a loved one that we believed to be buried here. I felt very nervous and awkward on the call, I'm sure I sounded like a complete nut, anxiety at it's finest. However, the woman I spoke to on the phone was very polite and reassuring. She answered all my questions and put me at ease right away. She gave me help and suggestions right away. I ended the phone call with a happy heart and a calm feeling.“
“The people at Holy Cross are very professional, caring, the cost is a bit high, Services was very nice, cemetery is well organized and clean, except the problems with the 100+ Canadian geese that are pooping everywhere, even on the tombstone and everywhere on the grass, the geese even pull out all the new flowers so they can drink the water in the hole.Very annoying ?, Holy Cross need to do something about it.“
“I am there almost once or twice a week, honestly some part of the cemetery are okay and most area of the cemetery are dirt road with a little or no grass at all. So if and when it's windy, dirt travels. Besides the police training next door, at times it could be noisy hearing them during target practices but not always. I still like to spend my days here for it's quietness. At times I fell like bringing a portable chair and spend most of the day with love one , considering the weather is beautiful at times.“
“A little over a year ago I reached out to Art in Stone with a very sad request... to create a head stone for my amazing late husband. It's an incredibly tough project, as many I am sure would agree, to create the very last thing for your loved one.... I was completely lost... I had no idea where to start, what to say, how to express my feelings of this immeasurable loss, sadness, grief but also to share the love of life my husband possessed??? How do you do that? How? Where does it start and do you end??? All of these, in my head , and I was completely lost ...until I met Michael! He is a saint, really. Professional, smart, kind, creative, sensitive with an amazing sense of of people's needs and wants. He has truly created the most unique and beautiful combination of my husband's past, our life together, our dreams for the future... all in one incredibly beautiful piece... Definitely recommend reaching out to the Art in Stone and asking for Michael and if he's available- you will be in the BEST hands“
“We had great service for my step-dad. Please direct any concerns to Wilson. He is very professional at what he does. Thanks Wilson!“
“A professional funeral service provider. Staffs offered comfort and support to the customers during the most difficult time. Honesty and transparency of funeral service costs was great appreciated. Service director Dicky Ma was exceptionally helpful and honest. Will definitely recommend this place for future needs.“
“Angela is a kind and loving person. From the first time I came to plan my mother’s funeral to the day she was buried. She was knowledgeable and made sure everything was done to perfection. She’s like family to our family. Thank you ??“
“I found this service to be trustworthy, professional and compassionate. I do not usually post reviews, but I was calling in and noticed the one low review. I want to share that my experience was really wonderful. Even though this is a low cost direct cremation, I found the customer service to be amazingly prompt and helpful at every stage.“
“On this coming 4th of July, I reflect on how much has been lost and gained in the United States, and so I sit and reflect at the places that mean so much to me.

Coming from a military family, I hope the lessons learned make us pause and think.
So here we stand, my wife and I in the middle of the golden gate national cemetery.

Here we visit, and we ponder the course of this nation. We visit what I call the "brass ridge". Here there are so many generals and admirals buried here, but not forgotten. As we walk through the greens and we stop at the tombstones of prominent and historical figures, I hear in the wind honor me, but remember the soldiers, sailors, Marines, Air force veterans that surround me and served this nation also. These were our men under our command.

Like Gettysburg, Manassas, Shiloh, the Alamo, Arlington and the national cemetery of the Pacific that I have visited. I remember with awe and wonder.

Another solemn place to visit. Moving to the soul and conscience.“
