“I have worked with Natalia for five years now through two pregnancies. I had the easiest births and recoveries both times even though I had diastasis issues, and I really credit her for keeping my core and pelvic floor so strong and mobile. My favorite thing about her is she really knows how to push you enough where you feel like you see and feel improvement, but not so much that you're ever risking your form or physique. What's crazy is that I have gotten so many compliments on my physique that now my best friend, her husband, our neighbors, family friends, and my husband see her for private training sessions, and they're all obsessed with her so clearly she's doing something right!“

“Pleasantly surprised how awesome this place was - the teacher, Dan, and the other yoga practitioners were super right on! I came in from out of town and I felt very comfortable here getting a very detail oriented sequence. Awesome brief sound bath following the asanas - kind of like a special at the end of class that day. Definitely coming back next time I’m in town. Great vibes.“

“This is a long overdue review. I've been bringing my seven year-old daughter to the kids class for a few months and we both really love it. Sensei Ford is great with the kids and really strikes a perfect balance between serious teaching and playfulness. We tried a couple other places before finding him and none of them worked out -- my daughter has some social issues and severe ADHD and other instructors just couldn't keep her engaged. Sensei ford somehow managed to keep ALL the kids engaged. He is kind, energetic, fun, funny, patient, serious, disciplined, and understanding, all at just the right moments. He coaches the kids well and the room is often filled with laughter while also keeping a sense of purpose and growth (in fact, one might even say 'continuous improvement' as the name says). I hope someday my daughter will move like some of the more advanced kids that have been there a while =o)As an added bonus, there are good sushi, ramen, doughnuts, and a 7-Eleven in the same parking lot. How can you go wrong? Seriously.“

Samata International Yoga & Health Center Yoga

“The only negative is that sometimes moving at the beat of the music, or breath, as they like to say, can be too fast for me (and I have been practicing for many years). Of course this is yoga and one can slow down and flow at their own pace, but if you want to stay with the group, this can be challenging. Not all yoga instructors are huge proponents of this pace of flow, so make sure this is the right yoga studio for you!“

“Kari is an amazing teacher. What I like best - she asks about injuries or areas on your body that might be hurting. She doesn't push you to do things that your body is not ready for. The space is amazing and has that serene peaceful feel as soon as you walk through the door. Kari is down-to-earth and "real people." A great place if you want to recharge or are just beginning your journey.“

“I first met Marcia through her New Moon Womb Healing circle she held in August 2020. Even through zoom, I could feel her authenticity and peaceful, grounding energy. She had me connecting to my womb in a way I never even thought to do. That made such a lasting impression on me that, when I got pregnant literally a few weeks later, I asked her to be my doula. Marcia said I'd be bringing her out of retire but she accepted - and I'm so glad she did! For anyone who's had a baby during the pandemic, you know how isolating and restrictive it is. Marcia's presence made the last month of my pregnancy feel so comforted and held. I loved the guided meditations we'd do over the phone. She would call and text to check in on how I was doing both physically and emotionally. She came over to practice birthing positions with my husband. It was big sister energy and I was so into it! I'll never forget the morning we decided to go to the hospital - I'd been laboring for over 24 hours already. Marcia had been checking in on me all through the night, came over in the morning to draw me a bath to help with the pain. She stayed with us all through the laboring and birth. With every push, I heard her voice encouraging and coaching me through it - I seriously couldn't have done it without her and my husband! One thing I really appreciated was how she handled the transfer of my placenta to the placenta encapsulator. It was a big weight off my mind. The postpartum care I received from Marcia was so healing and nurturing - it was exactly what I needed. The belly massages, the sitz baths, the vaginals steams, the hip binding ceremony - it was amazing! I wished she could've been with me everyday in that first 6 weeks! Long story short - Marcia is incredibly gifted at what she does. She's empathetic and in tune to what a pregnant person is going through. I'm so grateful to have had her help in bringing my baby into this world!“

“I was hesitant to take work out a class after experiencing a bad ankle injury. However this class absolutely exceeded my expectations. The pool is heated and the warm water made the experience easy for me who doesn't love to work out. Highly recommend anyone to try a class with Criselda. She was welcoming, kind and able to make adjustments for my circumstance while giving us a fun high intensity low impact workout. Overall great class great experience, far better than any spin class Ive ever taken. I had a lot of fun and will definitely be coming back again.“

“A lovely little gem of a studio. The only disappointments are the lack of parking and no shower. I was fortunate to take class on a weekday at 9 AM so there was plenty of street meter parking. Even so, one has to be careful of the no parking signs for street cleaning and all the various rules. When I mentioned the of the parking to the front desk, she said yes the weekdays were easier. So I would definitely give yourself a healthy amount of time to find a parking spot, at least 15 minutes. I just happen to get lucky. Space is very tranquil. It's lovely and full of light and has really beautiful hardwood floors. There is one tiny bathroom with a sink with only cold water. No place to shower nor change. Bring your own mat or you can pay to rent one. All the props are generously loaned for free, including bolsters, blankets blocks and straps. The class was not too challenging. I didn't break a sweat. But perhaps there are other classes that are more intense. But it was a restful and centering class. TL/dr: perfect spot for locals to enjoy yoga.“

“I started practicing yoga over twenty years ago. I started with Hatha/Vinyasa classes which were both great ways to learn the basic asanas. When I moved to the West Coast ten years ago, I was in search of a new yoga studio. I had never taken Iyengar classes before, but I was open to trying it. To say this practice has changed my life is an understatement.Through joining LYFE, I was introduced to the most extraordinary yoga teacher, Michael Ruccolo. His approach to the practice is transformative. His knowledge of the body as well as his focused attention to each student is unprecedented. This studio also provides a sense of community, allowing students to connect in and outside of the yoga room. I am grateful to have found such a supportive space along with Michael, a one-of-a-kind teacher.“
