“Dr. Brown is a gifted and talented Surgeon and Doctor and Dr. Neefe is one of the kindest and best Veterinarians I've ever met. They've both saved my babies countless times over the years and I cried when the elder Dr. Brown retired. They will not charge you unnecessarily for tests you don't need and will give you really fair pricing even for those you do. While other veterinarians in the area, who aren't even educated in the U.S., will do all kinds of tests and charge you through the roof for them by misrepresenting their practices as emergency hospitals, East Hills is open longer hours, six days a week and has multiple veterinarians. So it actually qualifies as one of the best animal hospitals in the area for your babies, who they always treat with loving care and concern as they do their clients with infinite kindness and understanding. There was a review here giving one star for a surgery that was done in Tracy for less but, if it's the same hospital there that I went to, they also gave my dog an infection there that she died from. While these things can't really be controlled entirely, as a former office manager for a Doctor and Surgeon's office I can honestly say that I'm afraid certain practices there also indicate that you do get what you pay for. Dr. Brown performed the same highly dangerous and difficult surgery for much less than the other surgeons in the area were asking on my other dog and she's fine. He even brought her through the potentially deadly complications that are inherent to that condition by working closely with me so that she didn't die as her sister had but is still with me today. I just wish I had known them sooner. You couldn't do better than to take your babies here as I have for decades and plan to for many more to come.“
“This is the most honest, cost conscious (no upselling), and caring vet practitioner I have ever used. They truly care about our pets. I am so grateful to have my animals in their care. Every experience over the past 3 years has been perfect. I recommend them to all of my family and friends. A truly heartfelt thank you to all of the staff and of course Dr. Lori Hageman!“
“As usual I had a great visit at Adobe. They were prompt and caring. Dr. Killian was gentle and kind. Thank you Adobe!“
“Our family Min Pha, Ma Tong, Gee Ma, and Georgia has been seeing Dr Campbell for many years. Dr. Campbell truly cares for our dogs like they are her own. She is experienced, detailed, honest and most of all compassionate. She is truly a gem in veterinary care. We greatly appreciate her.“
“I take my furry son (my dog) to her and she is so kind. Love how she treats us. She helps us with anything we may have questions about and is very straight forward. She is very gentle and is the only vet my dog likes lol.“
“I love Dr Maloney and his staff. Dr. Maloney is very knowledgeable and has never ordered any tests that were not necessary to diagnose any of my pets. You can tell that he really cares about the pets and their people. Any meds you get from him are almost at cost, and he will not prescribe anything that really isn't needed. Thank you for keeping our kids happy and healthy!“
“I have been coming to Disney for a while with my chihuahua Faith. Dr. Tillman was the first vet she had here and she was always very thorough and attentive. She was great with explaining things as well. After she retired we continued to have the same great care with Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Crain. Faith was a senior dog with lots of issues but they respected our wishes in not making her suffer through an onslaught of tests and procedures and just supported us through hospice care for her. Our Faithy girl surprised us and that hospice care went on for over two years! She recently took a turn for the worse but I'm thankful to Dr. Nguyen for allowing us to come in even though I made a frantic call to Disney right before their closing time. The whole staff was very supportive and caring as we said goodbye to our beloved girl. We were so very blessed to have 18 years and 10 months with her. The only reason I deducted a star is that a mistake was made in her cremation. I do not know if this mistake was made on the part of Disney or with the place they use for the cremation services but it is a mistake that I am still deeply upset about. I had asked, as well as paid for and paw print to be done. When I picked up Faith when she returned from her cremation there was no paw print. It hadn't been done. Now I don't have that to remember her by. I was going to make a remembrance photo memorial of my two dogs with their paws in a heart but that will not happen now. Also, the vet tech that day had also told me that she would save some of Faith's fur for me so that I could use it for a keepsake. That, sadly, was not done either. I now have two new kittens and I will continue with Disney. Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Crain are excellent. I will though be more cautious in double checking info to make sure no further mistakes are made.“
“Dr. Aparicio and staff are great. She doesn't rush through the appointment like most other vets, whether we're there with our 2 dogs for annuals or for a health issue. Sometimes we wait longer than normal but it's ok because I know she's taking the time with other patients that she gives us. I like her honesty-our dogs are our children and as dog parents we need to be reminded they have different needs than humans. She's also very knowledgeable and even helps out with zoos. I love that they will call the drug reps to ask about proper dosages for my tiny rescue and that she will pull out a book now and again to double check something like the compounds, breed, and health issues. It's reassuring that someone is making sure they didn't miss something. There's never unnecessary testing (we have insurance for our dogs so I know I'll get reimbursed) and we can always count on a thorough explanation of what's going on. We're always allowed to stay in the room to help calm them too which I love. This vet has been practicing for many years and between her and the staff you can tell by how they treat the animals. They really love them, care about what they do, and want the best for them. You can tell a LOT about people by how they treat animals. Thanks Dr. Aparicio and team CVPH!“
“Had a great experience at Alpine Veterinary hospital! Brought two of my dogs there for teeth cleaning. One of the cleanings was quite extensive, with several extractions needed. The vet tech Damon explained everything clearly and in great detail, and there were no surprises. Highly recommend!“
“First, the price. This is a specialist for pets. We're going up a tier from a conventional veterinarian. The price is going to be high, there's just no way around that. I'm fortunate enough to be able to afford it. So as an aside, if your monthly budget can take the hit, consider pet insurance. I was referred to D4A by my regular veterinarians at East Hills in Antioch as one of my cats had developed a severe overgrooming problem they weren't able to get a handle on. I had to be waitlisted for months to get an appointment. It was unfortunate but again, I get it. My actual experience? Very positive. Allie can be a fractious cat with some vets, but she was apparently very well behaved here. Dr. Wendy Terry is *wonderful.* She and the D4A staff are *thorough.* The appointment time was long but I never felt like it was wasted time. And I was struck by Dr. Terry's approach: very knowledgeable, very communicative, and very warm. They will send you home with detailed information on what's going on with your pet, what your treatment plan is, and what to do if you run into problems. When I did run into issues, Dr. Terry went out of her way to call me during the evening and spent a good fifteen minutes of her off hours working out our next steps with Allie. I can't speak to the negative experiences other people seem to have had. It's entirely possible there's a staff member here that I never interacted with who just straight up sucks. I just know my experience with the staff and especially Dr. Terry was very positive.“
“Miss you Dr. Halstrom and your wife Joey! Hope you enjoy your much deserved retirement! Still have not tried the new vet. After 30 years just can't imagine anyone but you. Enjoy your retirement you deserve it.“
