I have spent way too much time in dental offices ever since I was a little girl. Every new dentist and experience was a nightmare. After all these years, now that I am a senior I finally found a WONDERFUL DENTIST. His name is Dr. Christopher Marchack. He is intelligent, wise, kind and gentle and he really knows what he is doing. He will never do anything that does not need to be done. I just wish I would have found him much sooner, but I am truly so HAPPY that I finally found him. His entire staff is lovely, kind and friendly. The office is beautiful and welcoming. What more can I say than I am TRULY GRATEFUL that I FINALLY FOUND DR. CHRISTOPHER MARCHACK and his WONDERFUL STAFF.
Dr. Marchack and his staff always provide me with respect and dignity when I am in the dental office. He has a deep desire to provide the best possible care for his patients and their many, diverse needs. Dr. Marchack is warm, welcoming and always caring! My gratitude for Dr. Marchack and his staff goes beyond the stars! There is no other dentist I would go to or recommend!

Came here for a lash refill. My lash artist, Rui, walked me through the different styles, lash extension materials and even tested the glue on my skin prior to the service. I chose a classic doll lash style with a C-curl.
The entire service was very relaxing (I even fell asleep haha). Rui has a gentle touch and did a great job. My extensions look and feel great. I didn’t experience any burning or pokes during or after my service. Definitely come for a service if you’re in the neighborhood!
I called to get a blowout as I honestly didn't feel like washing my hair and styling it myself today. I called in around 4pm and Liz picked up and said I can come in. I was there by 4:15pm. Something about the vibe of the salon and Liz herself made me feel comfortable even though it was my first time there. I decided to talk to Liz about starting my hair health journey. I have played around with my hair between purple and blue hair to impromptu short cut and bangs. Needless to say my hair has been through a lot. My last cut was 6 months ago and I've had untouched highlights for about the same time. I was majorly due for a touch up. I even talked to Liz about going darker as I feel my hair had just gotten too light for me. She quickly mentioned doing a cut no more than 1 1/2 inches and a tone. She brought out the tone boom to reference color and what I'm looking for. She went into detail of how my hair health journey is going to look and what it will entail. I agreed to the cut and tone. By 5:45pm I was out with a new routine, a tone, cut, blowdry and style. My hair already looks healthier and shiny with new found bounce. Liz took a walking blowout and turned it into the beginning of a journey!

My husband and I were looking for a hair salon after recently moving to the area, and we are so lucky to have found Inova! Martha cut my hair, and it was super fast and exactly the length I wanted it. It was such a pleasure to chat with her while in the chair too! My husband got his hair cut with Jesus and was also really happy. His hair is a little longer so it's not easy to cut and requires a combination of clippers and scissors, but Jesus did a great job. The prices were super affordable, we had almost no wait, and the salon is really clean and elegant inside, with easy parking in the back. We will definitely make this our regular salon and will be coming back and recommending friends and family! Thank you to Martha and Jesus!
I have been with my former hair person for several years. I'm talking 12+ years. So looking for a new hair stylist to trust was intimidating. I was recommended this place, specifically Lexie! You're greeted at the door by the receptionist, along with water. The place looked great and even on a Wednesday morning, it was bustling. Lexie was very great! She made me feel at ease and asked the questions to help me decide the style I wanted. I gave her a couple of inspiration photos and we talked in detail. I had a transformation haircut and chopped quite a bit! I definitely think I found my new person.
Cesare is amazing. He walks you through the process to help you find the best style for you and then he and his assistant Lucia make the magic happen. They seriously are amazing and if you are looking for the absolute best, you must see them and that's coming from a guy. They also spend as much time as needed rather than rush the process and develop a plan for your maintenance to look your best. And, to boot, they are very kind and considerate. I'm a customer for life !!!!
Stacy is amazing! Found her on FB social media and took a leap of faith and decided to give her a try since she's local to me. Thank goodness I did. She was upfront with me and was so confident in achieving the color I was looking for. She even mentioned of her tips and tricks that I would have never known about. That tells me some other stylists can be lazy and not put in the work to achieve the best results. An even added bonus was finding out that she knew the same people I knew. I have just moved to Pasadena from the east coast where I had lived my whole life. Of the many new services I needed to find was a hair salon that was clean, welcoming and had great services and stylists. I was quite picky having gone to the same person for 30 years who knew just how to take care of my fine curly hair and was comfortable using a diffuser. After reading tons of reviews on line, I decided to try Salon Sonik and make an appointment with Erica who had all 5 star reviews. All I can say is I struck gold! This salon checked every box. Everyone there is super friendly, the salon is immaculate and Erica is awesome. I had a free consult with her the week before my appointment so she could familiarize herself with my hair and my needs. She nailed it. I left the salon yesterday thrilled with my cut and color. As they use a different line of products than my former salon, the color is slightly different and I love it. Even my husband who never notices my hair color commented how nice it was! I have to also say that Veronica who washed my hair gave me one of the best shampoos I've had in a long time. She doesn't just wash your hair, she also gives your scalp a good washing and massages it at the same time. She massaged my scalp again with the conditioner. It was so relaxing I almost started to fall asleep! I really don't have enough words to say how thrilled I was with Salon Sonik and everyone there. People like Erica and Veronica and everyone else in the salon help making a big move like the one my husband and I just made, feel so welcome. I've already booked my next several months appointments. I can't praise this salon highly enough!
Very cute salon in Pasadena! They also provided robes so your clothes doesn't get stained. Booked an appointment for cut & color a few months in advance. For consultation, I met Isabel and she provided a breakdown of the services. My hair stylist was Chelsea and she did an amazing job. I brought my extensions as an example for my hair to match and she nailed it! Gerri provided thorough parking instructions and it was convenient. Overall great experience and impressed by the skillful service at Ten One Six!
Finding a right hairdresser can be difficult especially in a new city, but I’m so grateful I found Take san. He is knowledgeable and skilled with years of experience. He quickly understood what I(indecisive myself) wanted and suggested the right hairstyle and hair color. I’m very satisfied with how my hair turned out. Great haircut and wash from Joscelyn! It took roughly an hour for this cut. She helped me with the absolute disaster of dry hair I had going on and made some fantastic product suggestions. The inside of the salon is very cute with plenty of bee decor. There is a TV as well! There is a small public parking lot nearby, but street parking is readily available.
Herb is an amazing hairstylist, I regularly go to him for coloring and a haircut. You can't go wrong with him. Parking underground is free, just make sure you're in the right lot, and to have someone check you in, in the salon- you'll need to give them your license plate.
I brought my two year old here today and I have to say it was the greatest experience!

New spot is pristine! I've been going to Ray for over 5 years now, and it's only because he's a master at his craft! When I moved to LA, it was hard to find a barber to connect with and who you can trust to cut you up the way you want it. Ray is that dude! I'd recommend Ray 1,000%.

I was taking a last minute weekend trip and was hoping to get some color before dawning my beach attire. I was able to book an appointment for a custom spray tan online the same day and also found street parking very close by quickly when I arrived. This place is cute and clean and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I haven't had a spray tan in years and Tatiana made everything easy and comfortable. I was in and out within about 45 minutes and so far so good. My tan is still even and natural looking after 3 or 4 days. I'll definitely head here if I need to get some quick natural looking color.

This was my first time ever getting a spray tan and it went very well. The people were very kind and helpful and explained to me the precautions to take to make sure the tan stays on. The vibes of the whole place were very welcoming and chill. They made sure that I got a high quality experience by making sure that I was comfortable and that every part of my body was tanned. I will definitely come back and would recommend to a friend to try it out.

I am visiting from NC and kinda got turned around looking for this salon. However, when I finally found it, I was very happy with my technician Jessie. She was very attentive and did a great job repairing one of my toenails, also she gave me a great leg massage. The salon was clean and spacious, also the bathroom was clean. Thank you, if I’m ever in Pasadena again I will come back to get my nails done.

I have had my nails done by most of the nail techs and they are all wonderful - very kind, attentive, and accommodating. They always make sure my nails look perfect; even if I’m ready to pay and walk out the door, if they notice something is a tiny bit off, they will offer to keep going to make sure it’s perfect. It’s a small place, no frills, but very calming and clean, and it doesn’t smell like chemicals like some other salons.

OMG the best nail salon I've ever been to! Gina and Joyce are both wonderful. This cozy salon is tucked into a charming shopping area where you can forget the chaos of the world and get on with the glorious pampering. This is the opposite of the ubiquitous mani pedi assembly line salons on every block. You will feel like the only client in the world. I got a sorely needed mani pedi and went with Dazzle Dry polish which is non toxic and lasts soooooo long. Worth every penny. Thanks for a lovely afternoon gals!!
Excellent attention to detail, the technicians here are very clean and thorough with their work. I went in for a pedicure and received one of the best massages I've had in a long time. The pedicure I received included callus removal, paraffin wax dip, multiple leg and foot masks, and my technician also ensured to remove a slightly ingrown nail I've recently developed. At 9 months pregnant, I can't reach my own feet to do much TLC, so all the effort and care was much appreciated. For $50, this was a great value in my opinion. Will definitely be coming back for future pedicures!

I recently came here to get a hair cut and touch up on my balayage. Maria was so welcoming. As soon as you enter, you will notice the super warm and clean environment. I typically have super long thick hair, but it literally felt a pound lighter after my hair cut. Maria is also the coolest person you will meet and she is always asking you on what you think about it. She truly think about you and I definitely have my fair share of horror stories of salon. Some people will cut your hair 5 inches when you really only wanted 2 inches. Maria will show you and ensure you feel comfortable about it. She is amazing!!

I have been getting my hair done by Rachel for over 8 years and she is the only one I trust to do my hair. I have naturally dark black hair but like to constantly be blonde. Rachel has guided me throughout my hair journey. She always delivers on the color/style that I want without compromising the health of my hair. Jayla and Jules were beyond kind and welcoming from the moment I booked my appointment. The spot is so cute!! They were very thorough - explaining everything before we started and as we went along. I always ask lots of questions about skin care while I get facials and Jayla was so kind and thorough in her answers. If you desire to have products recommended to you, they carry the best of the best and are not pushy at all for you to buy (which I feel like is rare!). I like this place because of how easily you can book online and how they always run on time. I'm never waiting more than 5 minutes in the lobby after arriving for my appointment. I don't stick to one wax technician and have noticed that everyone is nice and does a good job, some more talkative than others (but that's ok!). They also sell waxing products if you need help with specific needs like ingrown hairs or dark spots, which is nice. There's also a parking lot where the shop is located, so no need to struggle with street parking!

Came here for a lash refill. My lash artist, Rui, walked me through the different styles, lash extension materials and even tested the glue on my skin prior to the service. I chose a classic doll lash style with a C-curl.
The entire service was very relaxing (I even fell asleep haha). Rui has a gentle touch and did a great job. My extensions look and feel great. I didn’t experience any burning or pokes during or after my service. Definitely come for a service if you’re in the neighborhood!

After initially being told that a new water heater was necessary by other similar businesses over the phone, New Image Plumbing was the only business who was able to send out the technicians to look over the issue. Pierre and Matthew arrived to look over the heater. The only issue was a pipe that was connected to the water heater that had a pinhole size leaking the water. My wife and I was so relieved! They immediately went out to get the parts and came back within the hour. They fixed the issue in good time. Pierre even took the time to make sure all our faucets and shower heads were was all working. Great value and affordable. Will definitely call them again for any plumbing needs!
Miguel from Service Squad was very professional and on time. Our shower was not regulating the water temperature correctly. Miguel diagnosed our issue right away and provided his quote promptly. The pricing was fair and the work was done next day very quickly by Samuel. We also had him replaced our emergency water shut off valve as it was very old. I will definitely use them in the future.

Yet another person who got their obscure plumbing problem fixed over the phone. Like Click and Clack. Water heat was shaking the entire house. Told me just what to do to fix it.
The upstairs shower in our condo blew an interior wall washer in the middle of the night (Saturday on a holiday weekend, of course) and I ended up having to shut down the water main and water heater in my PJs to keep from destroying the house. First thing Sunday morning I called F&M and spoke w their on-call service who then called Mike. I figured I was going to have to have the tile walls torn into and a major repair nightmare was imminent. F&M technician Santiago called me right back and was at my house within 30 minutes. After a very brief evaluation not only did Santiago assure me the fix was was relatively minor one, he had all the parts needed for the repair on his truck. From the time he came to the door until I was writing a check was 45 minutes, tops. I am extremely happy with the level of professionalism and service this company provided and will recommend them to anyone in the Pasadena SGV area. Oustanding in every way!

They give a time frame & the technician calls/texts 15min before arrival. My technician Nick was able to diagnose the issue quickly, gave a reasonable quote, and was able to order the parts the same day. I got my washer fixed within 1 week from initial contact.Originally I went with the Bosh brand itself, but it was like pulling teeth to schedule an appointment, with clueless customer service reps unable to help and long call wait times. Good Lock and Key have talented locksmiths. They were able to fix a lock in my truck. They took good care of my vehicle to access the locking mechanism. Additionally, they gave my son and I a bottle of water while they worked on the lock. It was nice to see such good service.

During our home inspection, the inspector noticed some cracks in the foundation of the crawl space as well as some cracks on the fireplace. I sent him the report along with the photos and he assured me that this was very common and nothing to be alarmed about. I very much appreciate that he didn't try to scare me into making immediate and unnecessary repairs. I saved his number so when the time comes, he'll be the first person I call to make the repairs!

For my project I dealt with Eddie and the one of their main project managers Josh. From day one they made me felt comfortable and explained everything to me in detail. I've had bad experiences with contractors prior and wanted to establish timelines. Eddie gave me a bid and gave me a timeline of 2 weeks and they met it. Not only did they meet my timeline but also took responsibility in correcting any minor complaints I had. A lot of it was minor construction issues but they took the time to correct them all. Lastly, they came with the wrong color cabinets but owned up to their ordering mistake and allowed me to spray it any color of my choice to make up for it. I got communications daily form Josh to keep me in the loop on what is happening. He also broke down exactly what is happening when the team would come out, their exact focus on that day etc. They gave me a higher bid than others but I had the peace of mind that they were going to pull through and they did. If you want a group of builders who know exactly what they are doing and won't flake on you, I would go with these guys. The construction was superb, the communication was perfect, the timeline was reasonable, the trust was there, essentially one of the best experiences I've had as a customer for house work. Thank you again! I'll be a back with another project one day !

Larry was exceptional. His communication was consistent, and he arrived exactly when he said he would. He was relaxed around the wasp nest, and within 20 minutes had it entirely taken care of.
The next day some wasps were on the ground and dying. I messaged him about this, and he immediately replied, saying that was normal and could happen for a few days, but nothing to worry about.
I feel certain he’d come back out if the problem evolved again. Although it hasn’t!

Did a great job with the nip&tuck on this large foothill property; a lot of overgrowth from the last 2 years of heavy rain, but a big crew gave it a beautiful trimming in one day and I'm very happy. And the day was relatively quiet since they didn't use a chipper.
We had a great experience with Laramee and his team. The results are better than we had ever expected. The guys that worked on our project were highly professional and fun to have around. Laramee checked up on them frequently, and sat down with us over coffee to talk about our project on multiple occasions. He is creative, knowledgeable, kind, and has a great sense of humor. He has done numerous projects in our community, and came well recommended. Another reviewer mentioned some difficulty with communication. We left two messages early on to get his attention for a bid, and they went unanswered. We're so glad we gave him a third try, and I hope the communication issue with his office assistant has been resolved. Once we made contact, it was never an issue again. We are receiving many compliments on our garden project, and we couldn't be happier. We feel like we met a friend as well as a consummate professional.
We just finished up having Marvel Landscapes design and build a brand new garden area in our backyard. I could not recommend them more! Marvin, Jaime, and the team did a wonderful job. This company was professional, easy to work with, reasonably priced, and most importantly created a peaceful sanctuary in our yard that we love!The process started with them coming to the property to take measurements. Then we sent over a vision board of inspiration pictures and ML got back to us with a CAD style design and cost estimate. The costs were going to be higher than we were imagining (we had not provided a budget) and ML worked with us to see where we could scale back so we could get the most impact for our dollar spend. They built up and flattened out the garden area, cleared the space, and prepped for planting. We got to walk through the nursery and learn about different plants, care instructions, what blooms in which season, etc. ML installed a new sprinkler line for the space, planted, created gravel pathways, etc. and finished the project. Communication was great and available via call, text, and in person. We always knew when they would be arriving and they were professional. Hauled off all trash and debris so we weren't left with any mess. ML consulted with us on how to care for each new plant, how much growth to expect, and next steps if we want to add on. We would use them again in a heartbeat!

We highly recommend Canterbury Landscaping. Ken, Michelle and crew were friendly people and so easy to work with. They met with us several times to determine our vision and develop a design. They had an extensive portfolio and plant book we got to comb through and pick out our favorites. They spent time in our yard determining how much sun exposure we had and guiding us towards plants that will thrive in our yard. They were easily reached for any questions or concerns. We love the final result and stayed on budget.
Wow!!!!!! These guys are sweethearts and TOTAL PROS!!!! I trimmed my trees and re-did my entire front yard with colorful, drought tolerant native plants! I have spent way too much time in dental offices ever since I was a little girl. Every new dentist and experience was a nightmare. After all these years, now that I am a senior I finally found a WONDERFUL DENTIST. His name is Dr. Christopher Marchack. He is intelligent, wise, kind and gentle and he really knows what he is doing. He will never do anything that does not need to be done. I just wish I would have found him much sooner, but I am truly so HAPPY that I finally found him. His entire staff is lovely, kind and friendly. The office is beautiful and welcoming. What more can I say than I am TRULY GRATEFUL that I FINALLY FOUND DR. CHRISTOPHER MARCHACK and his WONDERFUL STAFF.

I've been seeing Dr. Wilcox for about 7 years and have had an excellent experience. His glowing reviews are well earned. I now have new insurance and have to pick another dentist, but the first dentist I went to wanted to charge me a $240 copay for cleaning my teeth! I spoke to Delta Dental about this and they encouraged me to file a formal complaint, which I have. They then gave me a list of other dentists I could see, but so far I have not been able to find one who doesn't have horrible things said about them online. Despite the fact I now need more work besides cleaning, I am considering paying cash to continue seeing Dr. Wilcox.
Doctor Carpenter is perhaps the finest medical professional I've ever had the pleasure to receive care from. Honestly, in my wildest imagination, I could not imagine or make up a more perfect dentist. So wise and tender, and with excellent staff and equipment to back her up. I'm am truly shocked she has such few reviews on Yelp. I guess dental work isn't something people are excited to Yelp about!
No one can't deny the fact that kids LOVE her! I mean, who doesn't? She remember everything I told her about and she's fantastic at her job.

I’ve posted about how great Dr. Richard Cheung is on Yelp, but I thought I’d share my thoughts here, too. I’ve been to quite a few Chiropractors over the years, ranging from a few in NYC to several in Los Angeles, Atlanta and Hawaii. Some have been ok, some have been terrible and a few have been great. I am here to tell you Dr. Cheung is the best of the best in my experience. I go to him for regular maintenance adjustments most of the time, but when I’ve had the occasional really out of whack back or neck vertebrae, Dr. Cheung consistently has been able to alleviate any pain I might be in, and correct the issue immediately. He’s simply amazing and very gifted. Trust me, you won’t find a better Chiropractor anywhere.

We came here because our son was having twitching and other energy/emotional outbursts, couldn’t hold eye contact or sit down for more than literally 2 seconds. They did 3 noninvasive tests and we could visually see that he had heavy inflammation and tension in his neck. We went twice a week for twelve sessions and did the tests again and his inflammation and tension went down dramatically!!!!!!! Even before that it only two two or three sessions for his ticking to go away; and I was finally able to have conversations with my 6 year old again (he could sit still and be with me).
They have what’s called a magic gathering monthly (I believe) and it’s a time where they teach you things they know about the body using their own life experiences to help you on your road to health. Showing they are committed to a whole lifestyle of health and wellness; wanting to give you the best chance of a whole and happy life.

Dr. Mike uses a very hands-on type of care for his patients. Pretty old fashioned but very effective. He will tell you to walk for 15-20 minutes directly after the treatment, which is a very effective way to get the most out of your chiropractic adjustments. He tends to talk a bit too much, and he gives a lot of nutritional advice, which I'm not sure if he is qualified to do. Nevertheless, I am grateful to have a chiropractor who goes above and beyond for each of his patients.

At SCG I was treated for several months by Dr. Rodriguez. Dr. Rodriguez was friendly and professional during my treatment(s). He was patient in treating my pain and educated me on the process of my healing/ expected healing pathways. During sessions Dr. Rodriguez would always set aside time to ask how my pain was and to answer any questions that I had. I am very grateful to have been his patient.

There are only good things I can say about YouMove and Dr. Haig. I was in a car accident and was being treated by a different chiropractor for a whole year without any improvement or resolution of my pain. I was referred to Dr. Haig late last year and I couldn’t be happier. Within 10 visits I already noticed my pain was about 90% gone. Dr. Haig is extremely knowledgeable and actually cares about looking into and diving deep into your issues, compared to other chiropractors who just adjust you in the same place every week and tell you to have a good day. He utilizes many different techniques and is not limited in the type of care he can provide you. The facility itself is also very clean and inviting. I could not recommend any other chiropractor more than Dr. Haig.
Dr. De La Cruz is the best. He has actually worked wonders for me and literally has made me free of knee aches, hip stiffness and given me unfettered mobility. I appreciate his knowledge, sensitivity and ability to help all my aches and pains. Can’t give him a high enough recommendation.

Dr. Ma is the type of MD who prioritizes her patients, listens to all of their needs and questions, and provides clear and thorough responses. You feel heard, satisfied, and confident walking out of the office that you’re in good hands and can trust the treatment plan in place.
Dr Sean Wightman is a compassionate informative Doctor that takes his time with me and has the patients to explain everything to me. He answers any questions usually before I have to ask. I have experienced him to be personable and has an easy way of relating to me. I would imagine that he is this way with all his patients. So if he takes a little longer with his patients before me that's ok because I know he will give me the same consideration.
Dr. Zohrabian has been my dermatologist for several years and she literally saved my life. Service is always thorough and friendly. She answers all of questions and I never walk out as if I’d been rushed out. Office staff is also wonderful and I hardly ever wait more than 5 min for my appointment time.
Dr. Chan is the best dermatologist! She is extremely knowledgeable and skillful, and has a warm bedside manner. She’s been able to help me with several skin issues over the years, and I’ve been very happy with her care.

We should have left a review when we first saw Dr. Lynn a couple of years ago. We had taken our cat to his primary vet for a regular checkup when they looked into his mouth and told us that it looked like he had cracked his tooth / line of blood at gum line... but sent us home to wait for their cleaning appt / x-rays that was about 2 months away? No. I searched online until I specifically found a dentist, I found Dr. Lynn. Marlene scheduled us almost immediately. Our first meeting with Dr. Lynn, we instantly knew she was someone you could trust. She let us know immediately that our cat was not having a crisis, most likely food dye (eye roll to primary vet... never again for specialty work). Fast forward to today, we just had our second cleaning with Dr. Lynn. Our cat is a pure breed, he is very smart and very sensitive so it can be a very difficult time for all of us. But with Marlene's attention to detail and pre/post appointment reviews and check-in's, and Dr. Lynn's exceptional work (we appreciate the pre/post tooth images, thorough analysis and resulting, noticeable clean, white teeth) we just feel so good knowing our baby is in the best hands, and that we have someone we can trust long-term. Thank you Marlene and Dr. Lynn!

I brought my Frenchie here for his exam and last set of vaccines. He was treated with so much love. Elena and Paola in the front desk are wonderful! The staff is wonderful, and Drs. Gorsky and Amini have been wonderful. Dr. Lam seems to have done a good job on my puppy's neutering this past Monday, but there was a serious breakdown in communication when my puppy began to show some distress after 48 hours. It took a while to get it addressed which was pretty disturbing, but Erica Wise, the administrator (I think) contacted me and assured me that the issues involved are being addressed and that the welfare of my animal is getting the attention that is appropriate. I will be continuing my puppy's care with Modern Animal.
I really like the staff here. They clearly care about animals. The veterinarians are attentive and take their time with their patients. I very much appreciate that I didn't feel like the doctor wasn't rushing me through to get to the next patient.
I wouldn't easily trust any other vets for the sake of my dogs' health other than Dr Christina Fan at the Pasadena Pets Vet. Very knowledgeable yet honest with her opinions and recommendations, always giving two sides of the story, so as a pet owner, I am able to make a sound decision weighing out the pros and cons. knowledge and integrity are two key factors for a good vet.
This place takes forever. Expect a slow process. 2pm appointment is actually a 2:30-2:45. Overall, you’ll be there for an average of 2 hours for a check-up

We've been bringing my doberman here since she was a puppy- she's 10 now. All of our experiences with Rose City have been comforting, informative, safe, and trusted. We've done check-ups, tests, and even surgeries- and my dog has always been in such good hands. Recently their thorough checking prevented our dog from going under a dangerous surgery, which could have ended her life. We're so thankful. We live an hour and a half away and still prioritize this hospital over ones in our area!

I have two 50lbs Australian Shepherds that I am incredibly protective of and I am very particular when it comes to their grooming. I've had some bad experiences with other groomers in the area that left my pups feeling anxious and upset when I came to pick them up. I'm happy to report that was not the case with LA Pet Home! The staff was SO welcoming and kind. One of my pups was really nervous and the groomers came and sat outside with us for about 20 minutes to help my pups relax and feel more comfortable with them and the space. I was able to leave them without any trouble. And they were SO STINKIN CUTE when I came to get them! They gave them the most perfect Aussie Butt cut and kept the integrity of their fur. They were also incredibly mindful and respectful of my dogs' boundaries and did not force any grooming on them if they were not comfortable with it (my female Aussie doesn't like her ears touched and they were very accommodating to that). LA Pet Home made me feel like my pups were being taken care of above all else (and the results were still incredible without them causing any harm or trauma). This will be the only grooming facility I take my dogs to, overall it was a wonderful experience!
I brought in my skiddish 100 lbs bernedoodle for a trim and groom. I was worried because she doesn't do real well with new people. The staff at Tiffany's was great! They do wonderful work and are wonderful people! Definitely a 5-start!
Maria is THE BEST dog groomer we have ever been to. We have a 3 year old golden doodle and she knew just what to do to make him handsome. She was loving and caring and Moose really seemed to like her. She does one dog at a time so she doesn’t put the dogs in a crate. She is really great!
Tracy and her husband are great! They care so much for your pup and really listen to how you want the groom done. My girl, Cleo, was so happy and excited when I picked her up and looked beautiful! It was a very positive experience for all of us and they are the only place I will go and recommend.
This was my first time trying eyebrow lamination. I received a quick response from Rashell when I inquired. First of all, being located in Pasadena I was dreading parking. I was super happy to find a huge public parking lot once I found the address. Second, this cute little salon is located inside the Burlington Arcade, it's a small shopping mall with lots of cute shops and a cafe. Look for a glass door that reads "Rashell Beauty",up the stairs and you will find this super clean, friendly salon. There you will find the two beautiful ladies that work the eyebrows and do an amazing job at it. I was very pleased with my results.
I've been getting my eyebrows tweezed since I was in college because my face is sensitive to wax. I had only ever trusted one woman to NOT over-tweeze my naturally thick brows...and she retired during the pandemic. Thankfully I discovered Julianna last year and I couldn't be more happy! She has maintained my brows beautifully and she is always a pleasure to visit with. I highly highly recommend paying her a visit.

I've been practicing Bikram Yoga at Hot Yoga Pasadena regularly for a about 13 months now and I can't think of any negative things to say about this studio! It is equipped with clean showers and multiple restrooms. In the beginning, I had a hard time getting used to the smell of sweat in the hot yoga room full of people, but it no longer bothers me. It's just something that you have to get used to if you want to practice hot yoga anywhere.I love my regular instructors (since they pay attention to details and try to push me beyond my limits), but I have never had a bad instructor here. All of them are really encouraging, knowledgeable, and friendly.Practicing Bikram Yoga has transformed my life in different ways, both physically and emotionally. Prior to this practice, weekly chiropractic sessions and daily pain medications were not able to completely eliminate the upper back and neck pain that I experienced from long hours of standing (required by my job). I am happy to say that the tension on my neck and shoulders have been significantly reduced (from 6 to 1 on a scale of 1-10) since I started my regular Bikram Yoga practice and I no longer need to visit my chiropractor or my daily pain medications!I'm not going to lie and say that I am totally pain free. In fact, I often feel sore all over my body after 90 minutes of stretching and toning in the hot and humid room, but as the saying goes, "no pain, no gain!" I've tried other methods of weigh loss after having two kids, but couldn't really maintain them. Bikram Yoga has somehow guided me to a healthier life style (with more water and vegetable and less caffeine consumption and eating smaller but more frequent meals). I find that on days that I don't drink enough water or did not eat well, it is harder for me to complete my yoga practice. However, no matter how terrible I feel during the practice, I always enjoy the rush of endorphines after each yoga session. A year of religious Bikram Yoga practice has resulted in a 10-pound weight loss and the decrease in one dress size!Getting started was the hardest step, especially with getting my body used to the heat and the smell of sweat. I'm glad I got over those hurdles and feel very thankful for Hot Yoga Pasadena in providing a clean facility and amazing instructors to help me in this positive self transformation!
Paige has helped me to transform my body!! My posture, core strength and flexibility have never been better. She customizes the program to my body’s needs, and no two work outs are the same. No class is ever the same. The community of students are wonderful. I highly recommend UMove Pilates!
I’ve had a number of prenatal massages before today, but this one takes the cake for best experience. Ryan was so thoughtful and professional when explaining the side lying procedure for the treatment. Her massage technique was excellent, and she knew just when to check in with me while allowing me to completely zone out into the experience. I would definitely come back to see her!
I highly recommend coming to Monty if you are having pains, especially chronic pain. Upon first visit, he'll ask for details as to why you're going to see him and from there lets you know what areas he will target first. He'll go over those areas by warming you up first and then gets down to the nitty gritty. It is by no means a relaxing massage, this is a massage because you need help. I had a history of horse riding accidents, along with stress from life/work, stress on my body from climbing, and just sheer neglect, I developed a lot of tightness in my body that I felt unbearable pain for years. I went to the typical massage places, I saw two different acupuncturists and none were able to help the pain I felt. After one visit with Monty, and spending a few days feeling sore, I was able to feel relief that I had never felt before. I went in a total of 3 times, and can honestly say that the pains I felt before are gone. Occasionally, they'll come back, but he showed me how to target specific areas with a lacrosse ball and told me to foam roll, which I do now and am able to find relief on my own. I know that whenever I find myself unable to help my own body, that Monty will be the first one I'll reach out to. My fiance also goes to him and has found so much relief from all of his sports injuries.

I met a friend at this spa for a massage and brunch day. It was clean, which is important to me. They have reasonable prices, including great deals for two people making appointments. I got a foot massage. They put my friend and I side by side in the same room, which was nice. The foot massage includes full body pretty much. I would have liked slightly more time on the feet. The pressure was a bit too strong for my taste. I asked for lighter pressure, but it kept increasing again. I would be willing to try it again.
I had the 1 hr massage. It was private and the massage room was relaxing with minimal noise factor. Basic service for a reasonable price
His intuition is so high! I got relief I was not expecting and he understood to spend more time on problem areas without me having to point them out ahead of time! Highly recommend for jaw tension, lymph drainage, muscle tightness and the hot stone was magical!
First timer here !:) i got several services starting with my Brazilian wax by Edlin who also gave me my first booty facial & booty hole bleaching ! I love how friendly & informative she was through the process & made me feel very comfortable (we even made a funny TIK tok ) I will definitely be booking with her again & keep up with my bleaching services ! I also received a facial by Jenny ! Although there was a language barrier & I couldn't get her to explain what she was doing to me through out the process to know what each step did to my skin & what it helped with, I left feeling rejuvenated, my skin was glowing and felt very soft and clean! I loved the face massages she did and especially when she used the Gua sha to sculpt my face. Definitely recommend trying this place out as they offer a variety of services! This would be a nice couples spa day idea!

After my car accident I had multiple herniated discs resulting in severe pain from my neck down to my fingers. I was not able to sleep on my right side and I was barley able to hold a cup of coffee. Maddie was incredible and adjusted our therapy as I began to improve. After 6 months I was better than ever. I can't thank Maddie and her wonderful staff enough for their support during this trying time. Now I just have to find another injury for her to repair;)
I don’t know where to begin, Dr Danielle is beyond amazing!! I had no idea that pelvic floor physical therapy can benefit and help anyone (no you don’t need to be pregnant or postpartum!) I have dealt with many years of lower back pain, constipation, endometriosis, and vulvodynia, and I finally found someone who has helped me through it all and more.. Dr Danielle. I went in with small hope since previous physical therapy, chiropractic sessions, and doctor visits had been very little help and only provided temporary relief. However, Dr Danielle has changed my life! She has helped me in every area I addressed and even helped me uncover a root cause that my body was dealing with. I completed 24 AidsLifeCycle ride, a 550 7-day bike ride from San Fran to Los Angeles and developed more serious hip and neck pain as I trained for my 25th June 2024 ride. From an X-Ray, a medical provider recommended that I stop my long distance cycling to avoid future hip surgeries. I was devastated. A 2nd opinion with Sports Medicine disagreed discontinuing my long distance cycling but recommended a bike fit and physical therapy. Fortunately, Ari Baquet was highly recommended as a bike fitter by my bike store. With only two months before my 25th ALC bike ride I thought "What do I have to lose." After working with Ari, I refer to him as, "A human MRI." He's amazing. He did a thorough evaluation, reviewing records, physically examining my body posture both on and off the bike. He's collaborative and gave me his full attention. For two months, I followed all physical therapy exercises. Before Ari, I was hoping to at least complete half of ALC's daily miles. From his help, I not only completed all 550 miles with less physical pain but I broke my personal times records in comparison when I rode my first San Fran to LA ride when I was 45 (I'm now 70 years old!). I'm grateful. He's busy and worth the wait because he's so good. He really loves what he does and as I said, he's A Human MRI in figuring out what, where and how changes are needed.

I had an amazing cupping session with therpaist Jeanine Kim. This heat treatment with the glass bowls and heated stones were exactly what I needed to unblock my energy flows and get me clear-headed. The bonus was Jeanine explaining the whole process in a calm and soothing voice as she applied the treatment with her healing hands. The Vitality Center's ambience is also super clean, organized and very calming. There's convenient parking in the back lot. The whole experience was not stressful, comforting and healing. I highly recommend Jeanine!
Justin helped me recover from a bad back injury that I sustained a few years ago, so when I injured my knee skiing last week I immediately thought to contact him. He was able to very accurately assess the extent of my injury (confirmed by my GP with an x-ray), and already in two sessions with him I am starting to see improvements with my comfort and mobility.On top of his ability to heal, it is clear that Justin has a great deal of care and compassion for his patients. I always feel put at ease when I am in his care and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of physical therapy.
CATZ Pasadena provides both a fun and intense workout for those looking to push themselves. I attended a class with about 8 others, and it involved a variety of fitness-intensive exercises. My favorite part of the workout was that it was dynamic (i.e. movement-based), HIIT, and multi-exercise (i.e. you do multiple exercises, almost like a circuit, in order to complete the activity). It can get competitive and I like that. When you see others around you pushing, you want to push and finish on top. It's a hell of a workout and the ceiling is however high you're willing to push it. Kevin is a fantastic therapist! The facility is extensive and the assistants are helpful, friendly and always encouraging. Getting my shoulder working again wasn’t easy but the Catz team was an essential part of the journey!

Georgios is a really special human, and a very skilled practitioner. He is trauma informed and he so knowledgeable. I have always felt that I was in the very best hands. He has helped me heal from a nagging groin sports injury with electrostimulation and within three months of working with him I’m at 98% when this injury was NOT making any progress three months prior, before I started seeing him. I highly recommend him for acupuncture treatment. I always feel so much better mind, body, soul after being in his presence and receiving treatment. ???
Wonderful experience. I've been going here for about a month now and have seen amazing results. I had foot surgery and the pain would not go away. I didn't know what else to do so my doctor recommended me acupuncture. I thought what the hey. Keep in mind I've never done acupuncture before and I'm sure glad I did. Now I'm able to walk now with only slight pain but not as much as before. Highly recommend this place.

First of all, it has significantly helped with my hormonal migraines and TMJ, improved my digestion, and made my skin look much better. I’m still coming to treat my period pain, (first time in my life I had pain free periods last month! ) we are also working on boosting the immune system because I just had COVID, but overall, I already feel a lot better after each session.
I’m amazed at how flexible they are with their acupuncture sessions. For example, once I had really bad neck pain, and they modified my treatment based on my needs. After just one session, I felt 30% better, and after the second session, I was almost pain-free.
Mei's treatment has given me so much relief and hope. I've been seeing doctors for years about my neck and shoulder pain and always get told to take massive amounts of ibuprofen, do physical therapy, and suffer. I had been getting massages, which helped a little bit, but the positive effects soon wore off after just a few hours and I was back to square one. I was a bit hesitant to try acupuncture and cupping, but called Mei for a medical massage and she recommended the combination therapy (acupuncture, massage, and cupping), which I tried and the results were literally magical. I definitely had to relax and surrender to the process, and was well rewarded for it. In one session, my pain was gone and now I'm in the process of continuing my treatment with Mei to fix the root of the problem. When I asked her how often I would need to come back, her response was, "until you are better." It is so rare to find a practitioner whose goal is to actually heal you and treat the problem. Mei has 25 years of experience and keeps up with the latest developments in medicine. I can't express my gratitude for finding a solution to what I believed/was told was a hopeless situation (unless I wanted to have surgery). I feel so much better both physically and mentally. My husband saw the difference immediately and in spite of being afraid of needles, is so convinced by my evident improvement, that he will be seeing her soon for his chronic lower back pain. I can't say enough good things about Mei, she is truly talented and a dedicated healer. I'm so glad I found her and I will be sending everyone I know with pain issues her way!

Marlee helped me regulate my cycle to get pregnant naturally! No stone went unturned. Veda has the most grounding and lovely energy. She is very knowledgeable, kind, gentle and she deeply cares. I just finished an 8 session acupuncture package to help with reflux issues and anxiety and so far it's really helping on both fronts. She also gave me helpful tips for anxiety management and sleeping issues. Her energy itself is very soothing. The space is nice and relaxing. Highly recommend :)

Acupuncture with Sarah is one of the things I miss most about living in Southern California. My teen son and I both received acupuncture for various concerns and overall wellness. I am a massage therapist and was a fairly stressed out business owner and sessions with Sarah really restored body, mind and spirit. Sarah is warm and funny and incredibly intuitive and I just might need to schedule with her when I am in town! One extra thing about why Z Acupuncture is that they have free parking on site! There are just a few spots, but I never had trouble and that is pretty special in Pasadena!

Dr Laura is an amazing healer. I have been seeing her for a few years now and she has solved so many problems for me. I've been having chronic sinusitis issues since December when I got sick and my PCP and ENT specialist can not figure out what is wrong. They even did a CT scan and couldn't figure out what is wrong. I was prescribed medication for migraines and pain which didn't really help. Laura helped relieve that pain. After 6 months of suffering, I am finally able to have good sleep without pain. I am looking forward to more sessions with Laura. She is a life saver.

What a fabulous service! We loved every part of working with Dania and her instructors. They were accommodating and very nice to my son as a first time driver. They are also very informative on the process. If we ever need a driving instructor again, we will be back! Use them, you won’t regret it!

Never ridden anything beyond a moped and I feel like I really got a good foundation from this course. Guillermo and Nemo were very professional and everything from the controls to shifting, to stopping to turning was covered about as thoroughly as it can be in a 3 day course. Like they say at the course though, definitely don't treat this as the end all be all....this class is just the beginning of the journey. Lots more to learn and rather be safe than sorry ?
