“We hired K&B Remodeling & Sons to install two replacement French doors at our house. A contractor friend met them when they were engaged on another job down the street, both the contractor and our neighbor were pleased with the job they did. It is a complex job involving a variety of skills--carpentry, finish carpentry and stucco. Yonis and his team at K&B did a great job. We would definitely hire them again.
A couple of high points: they did the job promptly. Unlike some of the other projects around the neighborhood, they didn't start with a bang and then limp across the finish line weeks later. They worked every day from start to finish, arrived on time and all of the workers were always courteous. They worked cleanly--each day and each tradesman cleaned up when their work was finished. There were no piles of trash around the yard! They showed great respect for our home, yard and all of the materials (those doors weren't cheap!). Yonis is a good communicator who keep us appraised of who was coming and when, and if something changed, he let us know.
The job was done on time, on budget and Yonis and I could shake hands at the end and be friends--the sure sign of a good experience. Highly recommended.“

“Sometimes, the customer isn't right. Jaime helped turn a very rough-looking floor into one that exceeded what I had requested. I had recently purchased a unit in a highrise condo building in San Francisco's East Cut neighborhood. I was renting a unit in the same building and was fixated on replicating the exact finish on the floor of the unit I had just purchased. Jaime and his team came recommended by the HOA since they had a lot of experience working with the floors in this particular condo building. Jaime took the time to carefully explain the constraints specific to the flooring in the building. He was extremely knowledgeable. Even after explaining the constraints, I was still determined to replicate the exact finish created by the original builder. After the work was completed, I compared the floors in the newly purchased unit against the floors in the unit I was renting, and they were quite different. Initially, I was unhappy with the result. Jaime and team had to put up with a grumpy customer for a couple of days, but I eventually recognized the error of my ways. I soon recognized that the new floors in the unit I had just purchased were actually much nicer than the floors in the unit I was renting. Jaime and team delivered a finish that was superior to the finish I had gotten used to. It was a 'glow-up.' After moving into the new unit and being back in the old unit to prepare it to hand back over to the owner, I have found myself thankful that we didn't replicate the flooring in the old unit. Jaime and crew are world-class in what they do. This was one of those 'trust the experts' scenarios. The customer isn't always right. I highly recommend Chacon Flooring to anyone looking for excellence in execution.“

“We met with Ari and were very impressed with his ideas regarding our bathroom and kitchen remodel. We contacted Spaces Home Remodeling Contractors on the recommendation of a family friend who had worked with this company. Ari met with us at the house and was super detailed and clear with his words and ideas. The meeting went so well that we scheduled a second meeting with him. At the second meeting, he provided a project timeline and a detailed scope of work. Everything just made sense to us, and since we were serious about this kitchen and bathroom remodel, we did not waste time and signed a contract on the spot. “The entire process from scheduling to the Floor Pros guys coming over for an estimate (done through Yelp) as part of bids, to arranging to have the contract signed, along with estimation of time of completion, as well as the finished work were efficient and seamless. While there was a slight hiccup with communication in terms of start time, this went away quickly with a phone call and them staying committed to the job. They listened carefully to instructions and requirements on site and executed exactly. The floors that needed work done were not just completed, but done so with very pleasing results. They took the extra care of covering other rooms / doors / fixtures with plastic so dust wouldn't go in from polishing / sanding. Will not heisitate to have the Floor Pros do future work again.“
