Janell is the best permanent makeup artist I have ever met. I have been getting the permanent makeup over 20 years, with various different artists in Japan and in the United States. Janell is the one who l can really trust. I am originally from Japan. Sometime, it's hard to get a beauty treatment that fits asian style here in the United States. I know many of my Japanese, Chinese and Korean friends got treatment in the United States, and got horrible result. Janell is different - she knows what asian people like, and I think that comes from her respect to all races. She is detailed, she respects and cherish different style, and understands them from her heart. She is usually fully booked for months - people drive from easy bay, San Francisco and even South bay. When you book an appointment, please respect her time. She has a waitlist - if you need to cancel the appointment, please do so ahead of time. We are so luck to have her in our town!

I saw Ellie yesterday after lunch at Comelones Tacos. Her prices are 75 dollars for a haircut. She was prompt and was serving two people when I saw her. My appointment was at 12 noon and that is when I sat in her chair. The salon itself is very small with one chair for waiting clients. There were three stations and all three ladies including Ellie looked like true professionals. I didn't see any chatting or joking but complete attention to their clients except for Ellie who checked her cellphone several times and also talked on her cellphone while cutting my hair. Since I paid 90 (after a 15 dollar tip) for a 22 minute service, I felt a little cheated. Ellie washed my hair for five minutes from 12:00 to 12:05. At 12:22, I was outside getting into my car which meant that my haircut was 17 minutes. 90 dollars for a 17 minute haircut just doesn't feel right. My haircut was very basic, a few layers in the back and I didn't really see much layers framing my face which she promised. I would have liked a little more detailed framing. I will see how my hair grows out but I am unsure I will come back. Also, Ellie doesn't take credit cards so I had to pay her cash which she appreciated.

I had acute neck pain that even my chiropractor couldn't fix and so I decided to try acupuncture for the very first time. I was really surprised that the first thing we did wasn't needles, but some stretches and exercises to activate my muscles in my shoulder and neck. From there, she began her treatment and it was honestly amazing. I didn't feel the needles at all and Angie was so calm and informative as she explained what she was doing, how it would help me, and how much body was reacting. I would highly recommend Angie to anyone who is looking for body treatment! She worked magic!
Changing out an OLD crown. I was anxious about the procedure. From start to finish it was painless and much faster than I expected. Dr. Morgan has a gentle approach and checked on me often to make sure I was doing OK.

My old MacBook Pro unexpectedly shut down and entered a restart loop, leaving me in a panic as all my data, including personal photos and videos, as well as crucial work files, were stored on it. Although I subscribe to Dropbox, I hadn't saved most of my files, and none were backed up. I called Norm, who immediately reassured me by saying I could stop by anytime. This was a relief, given my state of panic. When I arrived, I explained that I didn't want to repair the laptop if it was impractical or too costly. I just needed to retrieve my files. Norm was both friendly and professional. He opened up my laptop to see if there was a way to get it to start. Once we both realized the laptop was beyond repair, I asked him to help me retrieve my data. Despite my desperation, and he was fully aware of it, Norm didn't exploit the situation by overcharging me. Instead, he educated me about computers and hard drives and found a device that would allow me to recover my files. He advised me to buy the device directly and didn't charge me anything for his time! Not only did he not overcharge me, he didn't charge me at all! Norm is extremely professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and generous with his time. He truly cares about his customers, which is evident from his 30 years in business. My visit to his shop was not only educational but also a pleasant experience. I'm thrilled to report that his advice was effective, and I have now recovered all my files. I've also learned my lesson about backing up my data. Norm is the best! I wholeheartedly recommend him for all your computer needs.

We took our dog here for a concerning growth after becoming disillusioned with our prior vet in Oakland. Apparently many vet practices in the area have been taken over by VCA. Once that happens, the prices go up and the service declines. Unlike our prior vet clinic, Theater View offers highly personalized and caring service. They are super/ responsive to our questions and concerns. Dr Langford took excellent care of our dog, communicated with us along the way, and involved us appropriately in decision-making. I can't say enough accolades of this wonderfully homey yet highly professional veterinary practice.

The quality of their work is amazing. After the Remodel was completed, some minor touch ups were needed. Gal had team members at my house the next day to make the touch ups without any hesitation.
From a pricing perspective, I received several quotes from various companies and individuals. Bay Home were not the cheapest, but they were closer to the mid lower end. I believe the price-to-quality ratio speaks for itself. The entire project took about 3 month from demo to finish.

Upon a recommendation from a neighbor, we chose Roman Tree Services to do some tree work for insurance purposes. Their quote came in under other bids but, what I was impressed with was the specifics of their bid ( photos of each area along with a detailed description of the planned work). They were the only company that offered to cover the roof area with plywood for protection as well as the AC units. They made sure I was happy before they left the premises. I recommend them wholeheartedly!

As a recently retired ER nurse who moved here from Oakland, I was not thrilled about having to find a doc in Brentwood. I knew so many good physicians in Oakland, and so my criteria for a really good one was kind of picky. I wanted a very knowledgeable, kind, patient and compassionate doctor who really listens and cares. These are qualities that can be hard to find in a doctor sometimes....I've worked with many different doctors over my career, and if you find these qualities in a doc, it's awesome. I found Dr Lucero to be the personification of such a doctor. I can't tell you how happy I am to have become his patient...I consider myself lucky. Having a smart,compassionate doctor is what we all deserve. Dr. Lucero ROCKS!

I'm not sure if the reviewer before me was referring to the same Hollis Landscaping... my friend recommended John and his team to me and they have been incredible with our yard!! We can't afford too much aside from monthly maintenance and we did a backyard upgrade with lots of new shrubs, new path, and groundcover. I cannot say enough good things about them. John got back to me right away with very reasonable estimates. His workers show up as they are scheduled-- right on time. The prices are very good and we are so happy we hired them to help maintain our yard. They are also very friendly. John is an exceptional landscaper so he had great suggestions within our budget. Highly highly recommend giving him a call or shooting him an email (he emails as well as returns calls). They have made a huge difference in the appearance of our home!
