I stopped in to drop off my husbands suit and was greeted kindly by the owner. I told her it was my first time and she was excited to welcome me and give me a first time discount. I was very pleased with the experience and service and the suit came out great! I told her no rush and it was done in 5 days though I'm sure she could have done it whenever I asked if I'd been in a rush. It can be hard to find parking to drop off your items here, but I got lucky with a parking spot. They have some nice decor and it looks super clean inside.
Nancy Doreo is such a gift. I am truly grateful to have her as a healer in my life. She has helped me through cancer and sepsis as an adjunct to traditional medical care, and I would not have made it without her. Dr. Thompson is the first Dr. that communicated to me that his goal is to not see me. That means he wants me well and will do whatever necessary to get there. He lived up to that statement and we are on every other month maintenance. I would recommend him over my own primary Dr. ANY DAY. He approaches care holistically looking at your whole person, not just a symptom. He is very knowledgeable about body systems and healthcare.

We chatted for the whole duration of my haircut and he took his time to ensure the experience FAR exceeded what I’ve received from other shops who charge 2-3x more. I showed him a few pics of how I like my hair cut and apologized for my poor explanation but he still came through and aced it. He’s a great dude who clearly cares about his work. You seriously can’t beat the old school barber vibe for what he charges and the time he puts into each client.

I am a hard to please client, I know this. Yet from extensions, highlights, colour and so many other services Jen Keeler and staff have consistently given 5 star service that leaves me uplifted every time I leave the salon. Recently after health issues destroyed my hair texture, I asked Jen for her advice and followed it. I ended up with one of my favorite haircuts ever. After near on ten years if I could rate Jen and staff higher than five stars I would. Incredible talent and a truly lovely human. .
Ryan absolutely nailed my curly cut. My hair was down to my butt and totally unmanageable, and my hair stylist is on the East Coast... so I went on the daunting hunt for a new salon. I chose this salon over the "curl specialist" type salons in the area because I really didn't want that cookie cutter curly haircut, the heat damage, or the crunchy curls. Ryan gave me the exact experience I was looking for. Super easy to talk to, beautiful salon with amazing products, and a cut that is completely tailored to my specific curls. They've never looked healthier or more defined and we didn't have to diffuse or scrunch them. Thank you so much Ryan for giving me back my curls!

I travel a lot .. most of the time I hardly get any notice. It’s just pack and go! All is good except it seems that I always miss my hair appointments. I have grey .. I mean brown hair so I get ugly roots. WELL ?today I lucked out and got to see Daisy here ???? She was VERY skilled and personable. ?She even thinned and cut my unruly no one gets it right kind of hair. Great availability, super kind, and excellent haircut right in downtown Ojai. All I wanted was a few inches off the ends (sun damage), and it looks so much better now. I didn't need a shampoo or styling. Very affordable - it makes me want to actually keep up with the regular haircuts I've been neglecting. I recommended my husband and MIL, too.

Being relatively new to Ojai, and 200 miles from the beautician who has been cutting my hair for the last 15 years, I took my time in choosing where to have my hair cut. Pictures and reading reviews can be helpful, but you never know. Well, I hadn't had a haircut in 2 months; I was past due! I called Hair-Em. My call was answered by Deanna and I made an appointment. Deanna took time to listen and understand how I wanted my hair cut. I wasn't sure how short I wanted my hair so she progressed a bit at a time, checking with me to see what I thought. I was so pleased with her results, I posted my before and after pictures. I felt really good about my decision to have her cut my hair and won't be waiting 2 months to have my next haircut.

I visited refuge yesterday for the first time ever, i went with my mom. I got a 1 hour facial which had an exfoliating treatment, an enzyme mask, full arm massage and Gua sha treatments, it was super relaxing and peaceful throughout the entire session. the owner is super sweet and awesome, the inside of the spa is super earthy with many cool trinkets you can buy. overall my experience at refuge was a 10/10 and i will definitely be going back.
I had such a wonderful experience that i am planning to go back. I got a custom facial and she did an amazing job listening to my concern as well as seeing where my skin was at. She gave me a vitamin C chemical peel of some sort and my skin was GLOWING for weeks after. Her facial was worth every penny. Ojai is such a wonderful weekend getaway, I'm glad I can add this wellness spa to my visit.

I have had some good massages, some really bad massages, and even some "why did I even come here?" massages. Then I had K... My best friend is a massage therapist so to say I've had a lot of massages is an understatement. I came here on my own and had a nice massage with Caroline. I came back a week later to treat my bf to a couples massage and facial. I had my facial first and Leia was amazing. My bf had never had a professional massage so he got a treat with Leia!! She's so freaking good! She puts you in such a calming state and even when she's doing the part that not many people like (the extractions) it didn't hurt. So nice. Then I had my massage. Y'all, when I tell you I was transported to another time and place... whew!!! K started working on me and checked if I had any problem areas, how I liked the pressure, and made sure the pressure was good after starting and that's all I remember! HER HANDS ARE MAGIC!!!! I caught myself falling asleep!! I'm always hyper-aware of my surroundings even when I try to relax, I never fully can. She knocked me out!! TWICE!! I wish it was closer to me cause I would see her on a bi-weekly basis. K was blessed with the most amazing gift and if you get the chance, book with her. You won't regret it. I can't wait to go back and see her!!!
Bamboo Creek is a great spot to get a decent massage for a good price. It's clean and quiet and the staff are very friendly. Every masseuse is different, but I have yet to have a bad one. A great option for a nice massage that won't break the bank.
Recently had Ojai Rain Gutters replace and upgrade our gutters, including leaf guards. They were responsive, communicated clearly and the work was high quality, efficient and on-time. Great experience!

Our whole family had an awesome experience working with Herman and his crew. We did a huge project where we added on an apartment (ADU) to our existing house and also did an almost complete remodel of our first floor. It was a big undertaking and everything went smoothly from start to finish. I tend to be particular and had trouble making decisions regarding style and such. Herman, his crew and subs all helped in various ways and eased my mind so many times! Their work is skilled, efficient and top notch. Would highly recommend!

Scott Loomis was brought on as a sub to our prime and did our framing and siding for our 620sqft master addition. His team was extremely professional and were total experts. I would recommend them to friends and family.
Everready came to do pest control on a mice and rat infestation. They sealed all cracks around the house and inside the house. They set up bait boxes (did not require to purchase but a rather more inexpensive option to "rent" the bait boxes in which they simply refill them during monthly treatment. Other pest control companies were requiring for us to buy these expensive bait boxes to keep them (which adds another burden on the budget). Another great thing was they did not put any pressure on us at all they told us when the rodents are gone we could stop the monthly service anytime. They were very responsive as well and reply within a day. Our mice were completely gone and the house was very quiet. We still hire them for future maintenance as their prices are very good. We are grateful for their help and professionalism. Cassidy was our pest tech and she was so friendly. Amy was also in communication with me to set up treatment and she was great as well. I would definitely recommend them.
Those little rotten beasts are constantly desecrating my beautiful landscaping. Thank God for Gordon who keeps my property as gopher free as possible. He will come out on request if I spot some new nefarious activity going on and deal with it with extreme prejudice. The monthly service fee is well earned. The only good gopher is a dead one and Ojai Termite delivers.

I can't thank Dr. Facer enough for the incredible care he provided! The night before a big meeting, one of my front teeth cracked in half, and I was in a panic. Despite having never been to his office before, Dr. Facer squeezed me into his schedule during his lunch hour and skipped his own lunch to beautifully reconstruct my tooth. His incredibly gentle touch and high skill level made the whole process painless and efficient. His receptionist is beyond nice and helpful, making the experience even better. I have never met a more skilled or knowledgable person when it comes to the human body than Dr. Novak. She is incredibly gifted and constantly adding to her skill set to stay at the forefront of her field. I suffer from chronic pain and spinal cord torsion, when I recently injured my lower back, I went to Dr Novak and was unable to even get onto the table for my adjustment without assistance. After my first adjustment I had an immediate reduction in pain and within 3 treatments I had mobility again. She is nothing short of miraculous. For injury recovery, regular maintenance and pain management there is simply no one better. If I could rate her practice and her staff higher than five stars i would do so.

I was hesitant to see a chiropractor due to fear and bad experiences in the past. Thankfully my husband insisted and we found Dr. Murphy.
