I highly recommend Herman Mendoza of Blue Sky Construction. He is experienced and easy to work with. He communicates frequently and well. Herman expertly managed the construction of our ADU. He worked out the contract with us, offering alternatives, and solving problems. He scheduled his crew, subcontractors and inspectors so that our project was completed on time and as agreed upon. The Blue Sky crew--Herman, Tony, Paco, Manuel, Caleb, Antony, and Jimmy--are very nice guys and steady workers. Herman/Blue Sky Custom Construction did an excellent job on our home! We bought a serious fixer upper that needed signifcant work. Herman and his crew were an absolute dream to work with and the results were outstanding. We would definitely use him again.

Herman and his crew did an outstanding job on a recent bathroom remodel. We completely gutted the bathroom in our 1950s home and put in a modern walk-in shower with a glass wall and floating vanity. A remodel in an older house is always tricky, and issues come up in the process, but Herman was great in communicating, offering solutions but also very mindful of what we wanted. No cutting corners and great attention to detail. Best contractor we have hired so far in the area, fair pricing and we will definitely hire them again.
