Dental care here is good. The receptionist is friendly and competent. The dentist does his own cleanings with an assistant. They take full X-rays and pictures of your teeth and tell you what areas to monitor and can tell you want insurance will cover before you get treatment. I got a printout today for what our new MetLife Dental insurance covers. Thanks for the cleaning today Dr. Thomas! They are moving 2 blocks away soon FYI.

Dr. Thomas was awesome. He had an emergency when a crown broke. He was able to fit me into his schedule fairly quickly, fixed the injured area, applied a temporary crown, and I will go back in two week for the permanent one. His team was very friendly as well. He's not my normal dentist, but I am strongly considering changing.

I've now had two visits at Uptown Dental and I am beyond pleased and impressed with my experiences there. The staff is friendly and helpful and Dr. Thomas is patient, kind, efficient, and highly competent. I especially appreciate that Dr. Thomas walks you through his exam findings with images and clearly explains his care recommendations. This provides a degree of transparency that I've never before experienced at any other dental office and it is very helpful and deeply appreciated.
