I am so glad I did. You see, our shoot was April and three months later my beloved Emma was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of mammary cancer. She likely won't make it to Thanksgiving. “I work for a publication produced by nonprofit here in Chicago and was looking for a photographer in the San Francisco area for two editorial shoots. Robert came recommended by a mutual friend who is a professional photographer. Right away I was impressed by how easy to work with he was and how he thought through the assignments, which were to photograph two doctors at a leading area hospital. On both days of the shoots, the doctors’ availability changed and suddenly Robert had only 20 minutes to photograph each of them.
