“Long overdue review from the vapor barrier shield job Element performed in mid May 2024 for my home. The crawl space was a total and complete disaster zone. Moldy water, nails, and trash. Jorge was an excellent supervisor and the owner Mac was very hands on in setting up the appointment as well. They removed all the trash which filed an entire van, cleaned up all the moldy water and laid down the 20 mm vapor barrier shield which is the thickest option they offer. The team worked pretty expeditiously and the communication was good. I was worried about possible mold due to the water that was there and the company was good about working with me to ensure we didn't have any issues before the vapor barrier shield was laid down. I think the value of the work is also good. I noticed a small corner is missing some tape and called today to speak to the owner Mac who is sending a worker to the house on Monday to tape it up. It's hard to see every nook and cranny of the crawl space so I really appreciate the excellent customer service, especially since their warranty is 10 days after the service. I really like that the owner stands by his service and is willing to send someone to finish anything that was missing. Thank you Jorge and Mac. Recommend this company as a honest one to deal with for vapor barrier shield needs. They did a great job cleaning out and laying down the shield for my crawl space - see pics!“

“Across the 5+ decades of my experience of home ownership, I've had cause to hire a lot of people to install or fix something. Yesterday, Gabriel of E-fficient HVAC installed a new hot water heater for us and I'm delighted to share that this experience was one of the rare ones; it was entirely positive. First, when I was calling around to select a company to do the job, Gabriel was completely responsive and over the phone quoted us his flat rate for installing a 50-gallon heater. Every other company cited a range of cost and insisted on sending someone for an estimate. It was so much better and more efficient to be offered a flat cost without add-ons, upsells, conditions, estimates or haggling not to mention that Gabriel's quote was better than any of the others. He arrived on time and promptly set about removing the old heater and replacing it with the new. As our home is built on a hillside, our water heater is under the house and is a tricky installation. True to his word, there was no mention of any additional costs or even a comment about how much work it took to get the old heater out and the ne, w one installed. “Harry Clark Plumbing came out and an estimator gave me an estimate to replace gas my furnace. I compared the price to a couple of other companies on Yelp and their price looked good and they answered my questions. We made an appointment and their team came out and replaced my furnace in just a couple of hours. I got a building inspector myself to come out to give me a permit for the new furnace. The inspector took just a few seconds before signing off on the permit.“

“I had an excellent experience with Anchor! In the midst of a heat wave here in Walnut Creek my air conditioning stopped working entirely. I left multiple requests for service at various companies. All were swamped with requests. But Anchor reached out with an appointment due to a cancellation. Jonny came and spent time carefully and completely analyzing the problem and finding that I needed my blower motor replaced. I thought that would take days to resolve but he called around until he found a place to get a new one and raced over there (from Walnut Creek to Oakland) before they closed. Then he came back and installed the new motor and tested all components of the system, staying until 7 pm to explain everything, which I really appreciated. I can’t recommend them highly enough.“
