I was worried about looking over-done or like I was wearing a costume. From the gate, Kat was personable and professional. She coached me through coming up with a vision and truly listened to what I wanted. Having a trial a few months before was very helpful in both quelling my nerves as well as troubleshooting issues for how the makeup would wear over the course of a day. The day before the wedding I contacted her to change the location where we were getting ready, and Kat was generous and flexible with accommodating that need. As I sat in her chair the morning of the wedding, her gentle demeanor put me at ease and she fit comfortably in with the chatter of wedding party getting ready. She was also able to work magic on my chin-length hair into an updo that literally had people asking if I had extensions. Both hair and makeup lasted great through the end of the night.
