“This review has been long overdue. My son, husband, and I have been coming here for a while now. We take Lavo's jiu jitsu class and their Muay Thai class. Not only do you get real Brazilian training straight from Brazil but you also get endless opportunities to train and meet with some of the best in the sport, an opportunity you don't get at many other gyms. I feel like the coaches find ways to challenge you so you continue to get better. Whether you're looking to learn self defense for personal reasons, doing it for exercise, or want to be part of a team sport fight syndicate is the place you are able to grow and can pretty much guarantee you'll learn how to beat the shit out of someone if you need to. A little kid punched my son in the head at school for no reason (2nd grade) and he was able to put him in a headlock and choke him until the yard duty came over and he did not get in trouble for self defense. I don't think whoever is reading this realizes how important this was for me when I looked for self defense classes for my son especially because he is such a sweet and loving boy who worries about getting in trouble. His confidence is preserved and you really can't ask for anything more as a mother. Lavo really is the man, his techniques are advance but he helps you get it, he's so easy to learn from and not intimidating esp as a woman taking his classes. I love Fernanda, she sees your strengths but focuses in the areas you need work to perfect a skill, she doesn't accept half-assedness so you know training with her you're going to get that much better. Beau's Muay Thai classes are scrappy, loud as hell, and energetic probably one of my favorite classes to take honestly, all their coaches training the muay Thai class is intense and really fun. I decided to try it out one day, couldn't get enough of it , I'm still borrowing gloves because in my head I haven't committed but my body says yeah I'm going. Anyways long story short go here you'll probably end up loving the the people, the vibe ,and wanting to open up a branch somewhere else which is what people do they have one in big bear, Mexico, and perris.“

“I have trained under Professor Ricardo since 2008. He has presented me with every stripe and every belt; up to and including my Black Belt. I have stayed and will always train under Ricardo. He has become my Brother and one of my Best friends.

His knowledge and accomplishments in BJJ are truly amazing. His direction and providing all the smallest details make your BJJ more effective. This is proven by the long list of upper belts and Black Belts who have stayed with him for many years.

I assist him in teaching the Kids programs and the kids absolutely love and respect him. He makes it safe and provides an amazing learning environment. This is evident by the confidence you see grow in the children.
