Revel Room Studios Yoga

“This aerial studio is my home away from home. I've been coming here for over 2 years now. The community here is so fun and supportive. I've learned a lot of new aerial skills and came upon my love of pole dance when I was at a low point in my life. Turns out getting myself in the air was a great way to keep myself grounded. The instructors are thoughtful and mindful of students' progression and where their limits are, while still encouraging them to go further. It's a clean and large space. You're gonna find some stray glitter from heels or shoes, but that's to be expected. It's always decorated for the holidays (especially Halloween so beware of the scary creatures about). And you're gonna hear a lot of people laughing and generally having a great time. I love it here and I'm so glad my friend referred this place to me.“

Ascend Muay Thai and Fitness Yoga

“This place is awesome. I was looking for a new Muay Thai gym a few years back and was happy I stumbled across Ascend. The owners Chris and Jackie, as well as other family members who help run the classes, are some of the nicest people you'll meet. To top it off, they're extremely knowledgable and have actual MT fight experience. All of the classes are structured in a way to accommodate all skill levels. You don't have to be particularly fit or coordinated as they and all the members of the gym are very patient and helpful when it comes to beginners! If you're nervous to begin, don't be because this gym is extremely welcoming. I would highly recommend Ascend Muay Thai for anyone who has an interest in learning Muay Thai.“

HOTWORX - San Jose, CA (Downtown) Yoga

“Today as I was parking in front of Hotworx at 6:55am, I learned that the city closed off street parking from 7am to 5pm that started yesterday 11/18 and will be closed off until 11/22. Since this occurred last week, it appears that the city is still enforcing parking restrictions this week. The owners and employees send text messages to promote their deals and I wish they would have communicated in advance about the parking restrictions this week as I could have planned my workouts ahead and not have to turn around to go home. I did not have time to find parking elsewhere. I just wish the owners would have notified their members that there will be no street parking available during the day for this week, but I guess that won't be good business for them. I really love the idea of infrared heat exercises especially when you need it for muscle relaxation and recovery. I have a back injury and really enjoyed hot yoga and hot stretch to ease the aches in the morning and after a workout. It's definitely good for weight loss! However, I had a good run with hotworx for a few months but I don't think I can keep up with the limited street parking and restrictions. I realize I am still relatively new to Hotworx and that I am unsure of how frequently the city limits street parking for maintenance, but so far it's been several times since I've joined. I try to arrive to Hotworx in the mornings and complete my workouts before 9am since parking is free before 9am, but that wasn't the case for me today and it won't be for this entire week. Although it's 24 hour access I don't feel comfortable walking to my car downtown when it's dark or at night especially when the sun sets at 5pm now. If this business was located on a parking lot that's open to the public - guaranteed I will be here everyday. I'm aware of the garage parking options but one location is down the alley, which is the closest and the other garage location is like a 10 minute walk. I'm not sure if you have to pay for garage parking or if it's free for a certain time like the street parking. I just think why would you pay for parking in addition to paying $80-$100 for a monthly gym membership is crazy to me. Sadly, it's not worth it for me anymore. There's a lot of good reviews on here so it seems like it's working well for others. I just don't know how members are doing it staying with hotworx for so long and dealing with limited/paid parking but it's good to know others are making it work and maybe it might work for you! I still recommend hotworx and I would give this business 5 stars but with the parking situation is not ideal for me. If you're still here..thanks for reading!“

Sagar Hot Yoga Santa Clara Yoga

“As a regular attendee, I can confidently say that stepping through their doors is like entering a sanctuary of serenity and support. The studio's cleanliness is great. But what truly sets Sagar Hot Yoga apart is their unparalleled kindness and dedication to their community. The instructors embody warmth and compassion, fostering a sense of belonging that extends far beyond the mat. They go above and beyond to ensure everyone feels valued and supported. One particularly memorable instance stands out: I arrived for a class only to find out that the scheduled instructor was unable to make it. Instead of canceling, another instructor, named Kinjal graciously volunteered to lead an impromptu session, ensuring that we didn't miss out on our practice. It's this level of care and flexibility that truly sets Sagar Hot Yoga apart. And let's not forget about the quality of instruction. They are skilled instructors who guide you through each session with expertise and encouragement. Their classes are not only physically invigorating but also mentally and emotionally uplifting, leaving you feeling rejuvenated from the inside out. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a curious beginner, I wholeheartedly recommend Sagar Hot Yoga as the ultimate destination for your yoga journey. Trust me, your mind, body, and soul will thank you.“

For years I have tried many different allergy medications, from claritin, to zyrtec, no allergy medicine has worked for me consistently throughout the day. I rarely sneeze now throughout the day and I can finally enjoy outdoor activities without confort. 10/10“

“Xplore Yoga is a very clean and welcoming studio with many different classes for all levels. They do a great job of building a nice community whether you are new or not. The staff make an effort to know your name and give tips on improving your poses. Although I've had a positive class experience with all the instructors, my favorites are Mary and Shamekia for yoga and Carla P for pilates. I look forward to their classes every week. They are stellar instructors! The online class reservation/purchasing system is also very easy to use.“

It is great that I still get verbal corrections when I am doing the poses correctly. The Rythm Attic Yoga

“What a year passed by - 2022 - First, let me thank Reshma, who is unique and caring for every person joining Rythematic. All the instructors, Megs, Neha, Tripathi and Pari extraordinary in what they do, motivating us to achieve our goals not only in the class, but by constantly pushing us and checking on us every day through WhatsApp and texting.I want to share my Journey with Rythematic. I was always interested in dancing but hesitated. I started looking out for something and found Rythematic through yelp; I reached out to the number and was still determining who would be on the other side. That's when I connect with a super motivating and positive person, Reshma. I suffered from anxiety, depression, Thyroid (medical condition) and, of course, being overweight. Every time I stepped towards getting fit and healthy, I fell back. But this time, it was a miracle. Reshma was constantly in touch with me, though, at that point, she was only doing virtual classes. The day she decided to do it in person, she pinged me, and somehow I managed to attain my first class - on 15th August - what a day ;-) From there, it was no looking back. I not only got addicted to the vibes but found great community and friends ( friends forever). It was a fantastic feeling, and I can never forget my first class after it ( I spent my whole day mainly in the washroom, lol :-) ) as if my body was longing for this kind of detox. Reshma, Megha and Neha made sure that I was consistent. Regardless of what, I was motivated enough to come to class. I was shy and not confident enough, but I knew I was in good hands: so much love and motivation. The next and crucial thing I started bothering Resh was to add another in-person class. She is a sweet soul; she accommodated my request and added another in-person session; last but not least, I wanted to be in every class, so I asked her if I could join her while she was giving virtual class live, but joining her at home. She was like oh yeah, and I did. In 4 months, I lost 12 lbs (of course - all festive season). It helped me come out not only from my shell but also feeling happy, loved and wanted. What I achieved after losing - There are a few things to list downDepression - I was delighted, and my relationships improved. Looking good: I got a lot of compliments as I was taking care of myself, my body - my skin. More stamina -I could work a lot better and focus a lot better. The anxiety went away, and I was happy. I could play Garba(Navratri) and could ski after 8 yrs. I can go on n on about this group, Reshma and all the instructors( they spoil us with all the celebrations and goodies - special chai, omg ). Words are not enough to express my feelings, but I tried my best. We all need love and attention, which I get from this group. I love them for the way they are, and I look forward to going to every class - I call this place - My Happy Place :-) Please join us if you read my post and get motivated by my journey.“

Rebel Rise Studios Yoga

“Amazing atmosphere and the yoga teacher was extremely present and attuned to the class at hand. Had to drop it a star because of price. Paying $33 for a drop in feels absolutely gashing. That's partially on me for not looking up the price before heading in for a class, but never in my wildest dreams could I imagine this tag for a single class. I realize cost of living is high in South Bay, but we all have different financial situations and I know mine will keep me from coming back. Great spot though if you can afford it.“

“I have been practicing yoga consistently for over 3 years now and have been to many yoga studios in the San Jose area. This is by far my favorite studio. The teachers, the atmosphere and the quality/ variety of the classes are all excellent. Yes its a little pricey, but its just as expensive as other studios in the area and the value+ quality far exceeds the rest. The only thing that I would like to see are a few classes offered after 7:30pm as thats when I'm done with work.“

“If I could give more stars I would:). I first attended a class at this studio in 2012 to help stretch out more hamstrings from years of running. As a physical and occupational therapist I was extremely impressed with the in-depth knowledge and awareness, Linea (studio owner) had of the body's anatomy . She was able to modify poses for individuals presenting with various muscle skeletal ailments with ease. She is extremely friendly, and welcoming and you quickly feel a part of the "yoga family." I must also give a shout out to Lynn, another excellent and highly knowledgable yoga instructor. She is attentive and makes sure you are doing your poses correctly. The studio also offers other yoga classes, a HITT class, Reformer classes ( with Linea), personal training sessions, as well as massage and Acupuncture (Lynn's also an acupuncturist!) services should you need them.“
