“It is Dave's way of hard work and dedication that made my decision to work with Kent Roofing. What he did totally exceeded my expectations of just a free estimate of a roof leak. It just happened that Dave's big ladder was borrowed out, and my roof was kind of high to reach. He actually tried four different locations around my house. I could tell that it was too steep and not safe, when he was almost reaching the roof. So I suggested several times that it is safer to schedule another time to come back. However, Dave would not give up. He hold the ladder going around the house from place to place, and it is not an easy job for his age. Finally, he was able to get to the roof. Then I was surprised again that he stayed there for half an hour to check things so carefully, removing tiles, checking underneath, and putting them back, at different places. He honestly told me that he did not find any hard damage to the roof that could cause leaking, just a few suspected areas to improve. Also, there were issues found from the solar panel installation, and should be fixed. He told me, "If I could not find out exactly, what is the point of coming here." He also mentioned that Kent roofing is a family owned company, and he was working for Jonathan's Dad before. I went ahead with Kent roofing for the project. Jonathan was also very responsive to my messages. He scheduled the project within a week, and I could get things fixed just before the rainy season. The team was professional and worked hard. They could not finish in one day, and came back early in the morning on the next day. Now the project is done, and I feel lucky that I made the right decision to pick up Kent roofing. They are doing honest business.“

“I was in a bit of a panic when my homeowner’s insurance company reached out to let us know that the condition of our roof was not up to standard based on aerial photos they captured, thus, a non-renewal was put in place.

I know our roof doesn’t currently have any issues, but I still needed a professional roofing company to inspect and sign off on that. I called a few local roofing companies and, right off the bat, I knew some of these folks just wanted to push for some work to be done. Without even so much as an actual in-person inspection. No thanks.

Then I came across Roofs by Reveille, and was fortunate enough to talk to Chris. What a godsend. He knew I was in a time-sensitive bind, so he opted to inspect our roof the very next day—on his day off. He was thorough and honest, and did his due diligence in his inspection. Confirmed my roof was in good condition. And then he ensured he would do all he could to provide the proper write-up to help support my case to reinstate my insurance policy. He also gave very meaningful advice and suggestions on the next steps for when our roof is due for repair/replacement.

He got back to me in a very timely manner, and sure enough, his write-up helped me get my insurance reinstated. I’d also asked him to provide a quote for a roof replacement, which he did. It was very helpful and thorough.

No doubt we will go to his company when we need the roof replacement. Chris provided the stellar, genuine customer service I haven’t experienced in a long time. Restored my faith in humanity… but also, reset a high bar for customer service and probably ruined it for all the Joe Schmoe contractors I’ll probably come across I the future. ?“

“My house was built in 1910, so it's had more than a few new roofs over its life and was in dire need of a new one. I should have installed a new roof years ago, but life gets in the way. So, my new roof wasn't just about replacing shingles. Due to the amount of wood rot, it needed new plywood, new facia boards, and everything else you can think of when it comes to a roof. It is difficult to get a quote on a new roof, especially one that requires multiple disciplines in roofing, woodworking, and metalworking. I got six quotes, but the only one that gave me confidence that they could do the job was Conrad, and fortunately, I was correct in my assessment. Since I live in Naglee Park, an area of San Jose where homes were built in the early 1900s, the city regards my home as historic. That means contractors have to jump through a few more hoops than normal, which Conrad did. Conrad was upfront about when they could install the roof and updated me when the schedule had to be pushed out. That's good customer service. Also, the crew who installed my roof was top-notch. They came at exactly 7:30 AM and left at 3:30 PM after cleaning up. People walking by said they loved the roof. How often do you hear that? It's a roof! Use Conrad, and you'll undoubtedly love your roof for the next 30 years!“
