“I began training at SMFT early June, after a hip injury. My trainer, Dustin, helped me lose fat, gain muscle, worked out a weekly meal plan for me, and most importantly helped me gain my confidence back with lifting and in the gym overall. Semi-private & group sessions were always filled with knowledge, fun and challenges that resulted in GAINZ ! He's also very flexible and great at communicating, because my schedule is a bit hectic. “My daughter thoroughly enjoys attending classes. The staff are so welcoming. Professor and instructors are patient and helped her ease into the lessons without a hiccup. It was a bonus that she was able to take a trial class with a borrowed gi before committing. I love that she enjoys going every week cause it's fun (according to her), but it makes my mom heart happy and at ease knowing she's picking up self-defense skills, too.“

There are not many gyms in Newport that empower people to be strong and confident in building strength. If you want to experience a trainer that builds you up and helps you meet your goals- go see this gym! It’s extremely disappointing to see 1-star reviews that have no substance, experiences, and complaining about a dog being present.“
“I used to dislike burpees, running, and squats.
Then I found CrossFit at DRS. At first, the workouts were tough, but what I liked about DRS was that you can work at your own pace, and the coaches support you every step of the way. They really listen to your needs, modify workouts if necessary, and provide valuable tips to improve your performance.
The community is also incredibly supportive, and the high fives between workouts help keep you going during the tough ones.
After two months at DRS, I feel stronger both physically and mentally, and I look forward to coming in every day to continue improving.“
“The facility and coaches are great. It was motivating, and I felt so much at home when I was with Red Wolf. A lot of our veterans in the gym and community are always welcoming and sharing equipment with all of us. David is perfect! I also really like Trey, who owns the facility.Our workouts are fun, have the right amount of challenge, and are different every time. The studio is just the right size and they have all the equipment you'll need for a good workout. And, it's always great to feel sore and sexy after a workout!“
“Group fitness training that's 100% personalized but without the expensive personal training price tag. I'm so thankful I found Diane, she has challenged me, made me stronger and I never get bored her workouts, they are always different! You are in a small group setting but Diane modifies each persons weight amount, intensity or a modified version for any injury you are rehabbing. She watches everyone intently corrects form, or adds weight to push you if she sees you are ready. Once I got pregnant she completely modified a version of the group workout for me each session. She ensures I am avoiding movements that are dangerous, that I wear a heart rate monitor to watch my HR and she also adds in things that will help prep me for delivery. I have been able to keep working out into 3rd trimester and hope she can keep me getting healthy movement in as long as possible!“

“I've been training with Jolin for 7 months now. I came to him with the goal of getting my weight back up and putting muscle back on. Though we initially focused on strength and power, I have gotten so much more from him and our training. He implemented plyometrics, mobility, sprints--to name a few-- to help me become an overall better athlete on top of my original goal. His vast knowledge, professional experience, and unique variety of equipment and exercises has expanded my own knowledge and definition of training. I am now closer than ever to my desired weight/goal, and the work we have put in in the gym has shown direct results on the basketball court. I can jump higher, am more explosive, and overall, stronger and more well-rounded. I came to Jolin for a few specific goals, but have gotten so much more out of it. I'd highly recommend him to anyone who is serious about training and willing to invest in themselves with someone who loves to train and understands a wide multitude of clients and their needs/goals.“

“I have been in martial arts most of my life, and this is the most all-encompassing training centers I have found. For years I have searched for a studio that covers mindset, striking, weapons, grappling and have it all taught with street application. Hard to find, but GC Krav Maga has it all. They also host many self-defense and survival-specific seminars. The owner, Mr. Noi, creates an environment that is welcoming and also challenging for everyone. Every class leaves me with a great physical work out. GC Krav Maga is everything I have wanted, all in one location. There are many similar studios closer to my home, but I choose to drive 1 hour round trip to attend class regularly. Well worth it!“
“If you need Physical Therapy, go here! I have been to 3 Physical Therapy offices in the last year. The other two weren't bad, but I didn't feel that I was progressing as quickly as desired. A friend referred me to Body Solutions, and I am so thankful!. Julie truly has magic hands! I have a rare issue (TOS), causing severe issues in my arm, chest and shoulder and recently had surgery. I was scheduled in quickly and the staff is incredible! The owners Julie and Ish, and the entire Staff, are welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. The other patients are recovering from a myriad of surgeries and injuries. They are very busy, and all work as a team to support the patients. I have been going for 5 weeks and have major improvements. I will definitely return for future injuries.“

“I've been coming here for about 3 months and quite frankly this is the absolute best place I've been to in regard to healing my back pain and flexibility. I want to start off by saying that Jake and Erica are the absolute best people. They both take great care of their clients and show personal interest to each of us. Jake has taken the time to show me and teach me different stretching techniques and workout exercises to improve my flexibility and reduce my chronic back pain. Thanks to his and Erica's stretching techniques, along with using the spinal decompression machine (BEST MACHINE EVER!) I now don't have anymore back pain . For years I've been going to multiple chiropractors and therapist but this is the first time where I actually feel and see the results. Thank you Jake and Erica for your personal care and support.
