Was very professional and didn't try to oversell my astigmatism like a previous doctor I had seen years ago. “Dr. White is warm, caring and realistic. I appreciate his honest and transparent approach to my vision care. He doesn't push for anything that's not needed. As a matter of fact, he even taught me how to extend the life of my contact lens because I don't have much protein build-up, which meant I am able to keep my lens on for longer duration before needing to discard them. The office staff are kind and it is really nice to be able to schedule appointments within a reasonable amount of time and not have to wait weeks or months. “I found EyeWorld on my insurance company's website and emailed them to book an appointment. Irene got back to me fast, sorting out the details and making sure they took my insurance. It was great getting such a quick response and getting booked in so soon. When I went for my appointment, it started right on time. Dr. Baek was really nice and friendly, making sure I felt relaxed during the eye exam. She took the time to explain everything she was doing and why. What really surprised me was their equipment. You know how at some eye check-ups, they blow a puff of air into your eye? At EyeWorld, they have a similar thing, but without the air puff. It was way more comfortable.“

My son broke his glasses yesterday and I was able to get a replacement pair today, which for my son who has bad vision was a big deal. “Idk about yall but I have to dig deep do complete mundane annual check in's, tune ups, physicals, dentist, and going to the optometrist is no different. But I appreciated how the experience at Dr. Chinn's was effortless. An acquaintance, Vina who works there referred me. their office has customer parking so I didn't have to stress about that part. The store is brightly lit, clean, organized and not overwhelming. The staff was polite and very helpful. Dr. Chinn was thorough in the exam process and set me up with Mo, who was patient with me as I looked the selection over, twice, because I'm indecisive. But ultimately she helped me pick a frame that was a similar look but definite upgrade from what I walked in with. I won't be dragging my feet with next years exam knowing I had a great experience at Dr. Chinn's and his staff.“

Hart Optical used to have an optician to do exams, but now they just fill prescriptions. They accept insurance and take ours, you'd have to ask about what type. They have a pretty good selection of frames. The prices are reasonable and the service is great. They're located in a strip mall on La Mesa Boulevard. There's plenty of parking.“
