This beautiful German Shepherd mix came to us with a serious case of PTSD — he was so leash-reactive and anxious that we had a really hard time taking him out for even the shortest walks. Kevin used his extensive understanding of dog psychology to teach us how to effectively communicate with an anxious dog, with the goal of building confidence in us humans, as well as in our pup. He is a very shy dog, but I am thrilled with how much he loves to come here.I have been taking advantage of the many services providing, daycare, training and grooming.Junior is patients and helpful in the group trainings: though I have a challenging pet, he provides specific tips to help me try and help my dog.My pup got his first hair cut this week and the groomer being able to cut his hair/ears/bum hair/between his toes is nothing short or a miracle. My did is skittish and squirmy so I have no idea how he even accomplished that.I can't say enough positive things about how friendly, communicative and accommodating all the staff is.Special Shout out to Junior (training) Chris (grooming) and Ricardo (I think that's his name; the longer haired attendant) he is my baby's favorite.I appreciate everyone patience with my sensitive guy. “I have been having a lot of issues with my dogs and did not know how to handle the barking and the diss obedience. I googled for my area, a female trainer that specializes in barking, aggression, and general obedience. The first name that came up was Nancy Turnage. I read her reviews and saw that people said as soon as she walked in the door. Their dogs were totally different. They felt her energy and her taking charge. My dogs have never been that behaved ever. She sits down with you and explains everything about what it is all about having dogs and what they expect of us as being their parents. All I can tell you is that if you need someone that is experienced and caring and answers your email within 24 hours, then you need to call Nancy. All I can say is Nancy I can't thank you enough. My dogs are like brand new. Thank you again and I look forward to meeting up with you for follow ups.“

“The Good Karma team has been wonderful to work with. I first met Margo when I got a 10 week old Great Dane Lab. Margo was the only trainer I found that came to my home for training, she showed my kids training games to play with the puppy as well. I also did Therapy Dog training through Margo’s course, now my Great Dane Lab gets to help other people :) The Good Karma team has taught me so much about the importance of training. “This chain franchise is a nice place to visit with your pet. If they have an accident, staff will help with clean-up if needed. Selection is very good and prices are competitive.My only concern is the check-out process, which is overly time-consuming.“

“The ladies that work at Fetch and Play are awesome! They are very sweet and attentive to my pup. My senior dog has special needs, and they are willing to adapt as needed, which I appreciate. Its helpful to have text reminders of upcoming appts and when to pick them up. I've gone there several times and it's always a pleasure.“

“Love this store, and the staff. I won't take my dog anywhere else. I have an anxious and nervous German Shepherd, who occasionally stays at Pets Hotel, and we use the grooming services. All of the staff, have gotten to know her, and they go out of their way to try and make her comfortable. She can be difficult to handle sometimes, but all the staff at the Glendora store are kind and patient with her. She's a work in progress who has come along way, and the employees at this store are partly the reason for that.“

“This was not my usual Petco but after today it definitely will be my Eevee (fur friend) felt so welcomed and was not anxious as she usually is at other stores.
