“Great training. They push you to be better but at your own pace. Great instructors and all are great at helping you develop.“
“What a wonderful studio! We came in for our trial and felt so welcome and so at home. We have only taken 2 classes and my two kids cannot get enough. One thing to note, they do an amazing job of educating you on what to expect. Right after signing up, we received a video telling us about the studio and its history. Followed up with an educational video on how to tie the belt properly. I truly feel like we had all of our questions we didn't know we even had answered. Not to mention the uniform was provided, a t-shirt and the most informational packet to help a non karate mom. I cannot wait to see what being apart of the AMAA family for years to come.“
“Red Dragon Karate San Dimas has made a tremendous impact on my son’s life. I know that the skills and values he has learned here will help him for the rest of his life. The Senseis and staff are all great, can’t thank them enough. It’s also nice sharing and interacting with other parents, great team work.“
“My son has been going to prestige since he was 4 years old. He just turned 7. There are plenty of Tae Kwon Do schools in my area but I do make a little drive for Master Nam and his team. I've seen my son grow from a shy timid child into a more self confident, disciplined kid. Master Nam teaches but always makes time for some fun for the kids . You can tell he really enjoys what he does and he goes above and beyond for these kids. He throws movie nights, nerf parties bouncy houses and so much more. We're happy to have found prestige and we'll be sticking around for sure“
“I called around a few spots to inquire because my 5 year old daughter was interested in this art. This place was friendly from the beginning not only to me but my daughter as well. Kelly was very kind and accommodating. My daughter feels safe and comfortable coming to these classes. Master Kang is amazing with the kids and so are his leadership trainers. My daughter is learning quickly and loves it. Definitely recommend this place for kids.“
“My daughter thoroughly enjoys attending classes. The staff are so welcoming. Professor and instructors are patient and helped her ease into the lessons without a hiccup. It was a bonus that she was able to take a trial class with a borrowed gi before committing. I love that she enjoys going every week cause it's fun (according to her), but it makes my mom heart happy and at ease knowing she's picking up self-defense skills, too.“
“This place really help my son get out of his shell. Love the staff and how much training expertise around martial arts they had“
“My son started a few weeks ago and loves the classes at American Martial Arts Academy. He really enjoys and looks forward to the going to the classes. The moment he walked into the studio he was graciously greeted by the instructors. They were welcoming and helpful. No pressure to join, just informative and welcoming. The team at American Martial Arts Academy provides a nurturing the supportive environment for the kids. The studio definitely feels like a family owned business. They are attentive to each child and knows them by their name. It's nice to be to hear yours child's name as you enter the studio. Makes you feel at home.“
“An amazing place for kids to burn out energy, develop discipline, and learn how to defend themselves! My kids absolutely love it!!!!“
“Our little guy was interested in starting Taekwondo and his friend from school was going here. Since his Mom highly recommended TKS, we decided to try it. In just 2 short months, our little guy has learned so much. The Masters work carefully with him to build his skills and what I love the most is that while they are focused on training, they are also teaching him about respect. They are influencing his whole self, his view on how to demonstrate active listening and they have even helped him understand how important it is to put away his toys with no help! We recently participated in a Make-up belt test and were able to see what different belts had learned while the kids proved their abilities. We were so excited to see each child at a different level, demonstrate what they had learned and prove that they deserved to move to the next belt. We were also impressed with the confidence, active listening and respect that each student showed. And of course, we loved to see the different levels break boards in different ways. TKS Martial Arts Center has an amazing summer special going. For $99 we got a month of classes, the registration fee and his uniform. This allowed us to try out the classes and see if he liked it. Which he really did!“
“The environment is friendly, welcoming and the time passed so fast while waiting for the class to start. The personal attention even in a general class; everybody is willing to help.“
“I have been in martial arts most of my life, and this is the most all-encompassing training centers I have found. For years I have searched for a studio that covers mindset, striking, weapons, grappling and have it all taught with street application. Hard to find, but GC Krav Maga has it all. They also host many self-defense and survival-specific seminars. The owner, Mr. Noi, creates an environment that is welcoming and also challenging for everyone. Every class leaves me with a great physical work out. GC Krav Maga is everything I have wanted, all in one location. There are many similar studios closer to my home, but I choose to drive 1 hour round trip to attend class regularly. Well worth it!“
“Came here for Memorial Day open mat. Very great vibes. All cool guys. Great prices. Thank you so much for the hospitality!“
“My kids and I have been looking for a new place to study Taekwondo and we have found a place that is very welcoming with great atmosphere. Master Ryu and his instructors are awesome. They are very professional and patient with myself and my 4 kids. If you are looking for a place to learn and have fun come to WCTA!!“
“New breed is a great place to train, they were welcoming from day one it felt like family. The professors are there for you on and off the mats. There's a community among the staff and students. I now have been training for a little over a year now. I am grateful for the influence BJJ has put into my life at work, personal and even among peers. BJJ is a journey, it grows on you, it makes those long days feel easier. To me, my biggest gain is that I am less stressed with life, because I now have an outlet, that I enjoy very much. I navigate problems with more ease and critical thinking. Stop by and take that jump on those mats and have your own experience/journey. Osss!“
“All the Sensais and coaches in RDK San Dimas are passionate on Karate, and wholeheartedly help every of their students to have successful Karate training journey. They are patient with students by motivating them to through different ways, and more so they make each karate class full of fun and excitement. Other than the regular karate classes, they devote resource and energy on other fun-filled activities outside of the regular class time. I have put my son in their dojo for over 3 years and it's been an amazing journey so far. I would choose this dojo again if I were to pick again, despite the long commute.“
“The best taekwondo .. master Han is the best each kid could have .. I could give 10Stars“
“This is the best Jiu Jitsu class because they truly focus on teaching. I've tried other places where it's mostly about fun. I don't want to spend money, especially time, driving and waiting for my kid for a Jiu Jitsu class just for fun. But here, after just one free class, I didn't hesitate to sign up for a year. They really teach things even from the first class. I really like the coaches here, especially Mr. Albert. He is kind yet strict, maintaining full control to ensure that kids are not just playing around but learning properly. I appreciate the balance of discipline and kindness. I am very thankful to have found this place and highly recommend this business!“
“I'm glad my teacher is Japanese.I am grateful that it helps me learn not only karate, but also etiquette and Japanese. The time is just right.“
“Stopped in for a smoothie today and it was so good! My mom and I both got the extreme yummy smoothie and added whey protein. Fresh and filling!“
“A great place to train and learn martial arts! You'll learn many different techniques and skills here. Plus, the instructors and other students are awesome to work with!“
“I have been going to the Norwalk Japanese school for year's on their celebration day it's a lot of fun“
“Been training here for about a year. They teach traditional Kodokan Judo which includes throws, sweeps and grappling (ne-waza). Senseis are friendly, patient and encouraging. 2 classes a week for both kids and adults. Great place to learn and build connections with other judokas.“
“I cannot say enough about Dan, the head instructor. Exceptional knowledge both of the game itself, and strategy. My son, is a competition fighter and he was greatly impacted in a positive way in the instruction he received. Highest recommendation.“
“The studio is NOT glamorous but you can see and feel the dedication of the students from there. Younger students are encouraged to try their best and excell in all faucets of their life. Adults in the classes attend to learn and improve skills, all egos are checked at the door. The parking lot does leave alot to be desired. Lines can't be seen very easily and some other patrons of the little shopping strip make up their own parking rules...“
