Bernadette is the best! i can’t remember how i found her on IG but i’m thankful i did! i followed her for awhile to study her work and i was not disappointed at any of her work! making an appt was easy, her explanation of the process was on point and she took her time! i’ve had my brows done before with another lady, that appt was about 1.5 hours and she didn’t map out my brows like Bernie did! i was with bernadette for 3 hours, start to finish, there was no rush! i’m absolutely ecstatic with my brows and the compliments from strangers is the final touch! best decision, best money ever spent.

I needed a quick appointment, and they gave me one. That's the biggest reason I came back this year. Great service from the Optometrist. I paid an extra $35 (with Insurance) for the full eye exam which checks the overall health of the eyes. I chose not to order glasses this time because I want to purchase 2 pairs instead of one, and I want to find somewhere else that will give me a better deal.
We had 19 pipes burst during the big freeze last year. We patched those areas but knew we were in danger of hairline fractures opening up with changing temps etc. We shopped around for a re-pipe from copper to pex, and for someone to do it right. At the same time we wanted to replace our two 50 gallon water heaters with a single tankless system. We consistently heard from potential companies a) that we should only re-pipe the attic not the walls (because the walls were difficult, but we had had breaks on exterior walls) and b) a single tankless wouldn't work in our home that is just shy of 3500 square feet and one story (lots of long runs of pipe). Cody Huffman and Tier One came in here and heard our concerns and knew we wanted the job done once and done right. They researched the tankless heaters and designed a recirculation system for us. They completed the entire job, full re-pipe including in walls, and a tankless system for less than the estimates of others. We could not be more pleased. Hot water, all the time, throughout the house. And we are sleeping much better feeling protected from weather and age related breaks. We HIGHLY recommend Cody and his team at Tier One! Look no further than these guys!

She addressed my hair concerns and educated me on what could be causing my issues. I wasn't sure what I wanted done after speaking to Toy in detail, I decided on a wash/condition,cellophane flat-iron, trim. Needless to say, my hair turned out absolutely beautiful! Wow! I just received the best haircuts I’ve ever had. My hair was washed dried and cut in to my particular hairstyle. My barber Ron Bey has 33 year’s of experience. I showed Ron a couple of pictures of my idea and he made it happen. I am so thankful that he asked if I needed help while I looking for a barber. The shop atmosphere is peaceful clean and welcoming. They specialize in Natural hair styles, locs and braids. They also offer facials, hair coloring and weaves. It’s a one stop shop. You will love the end results and it will be worth the cost. I had reached out to another braider, but they didn't communicate in a timely manner. We were going on a cruise and I needed my daughter's hair braided. It took the other braider weeks to respond. As time drew near for our cruise, I got nervous thinking that the braider might not come through because they never answered my question about how much hair I needed two weeks earlier. I drove past Dare To Be Noticed (DTBN) and decided to give them a call. Tashanay responded quickly, answered all my questions, and provided me a link to make an appointment. We got booked days before the cruise, I cancelled the other appointment; then they responded immediately with "okay". When we got to DTBN, the atmosphere was very friendly. There was seating and I was able to wait while my daughter got her hair braided. I explained to Tashanay that my daughter was on the spectrum, so she took her right away and was very gentle. We were in and out in a couple of hours. My daughter loved her hair. DTBN and Tashanay saved our cruise and made me and my daughter happy and soon to be returning customers. I liked my daughter's braids so much, ext time I'll have my hair braided as well! Thank you!

What a great place. My co-worker suggested them to me and she knows how picky I am about others doing my hair. I have to give it to them. They were inviting as if I were at home. I showed them an old picture of my braids and wanted the same design and they came out even better than the picture. I was pleasantly surprised and excited for my next style from them!

I was going to this other barbershop which charged an extra $5 to make an appointment, which I always thought was weird, but I never made an appointment I just always walked in yet they would still often charge me the extra $5 and I never understood why. Plus there was always some awkwardness which I didn't understand either, and they never greeted me when I walked in, they would just look at me like I was doing something wrong, it just felt like they didn't want my business. So I finally decided to find a different barber. I looked on Yelp for recommendations and found Dalajas Barber Shop and thought I would give them a try. I called and asked if they could get me in right away and they said yes and to ask for David when I arrived. When I got there, the owner was at the front and gave me a big smile and welcomed me in, asked if I had just called (which I said yes, that's me) and he pointed me to David. David had a great smile and welcomed me into his chair. He was friendly, talkative, and kind, and talented! He asked me all sorts of things and I did him too, we had a great conversation the whole time! We even talked about the situation and awkwardness of the other shop, which was a completely different experience than what I got at Dalajas. David gave me a great cut and offered his business card so I can make future reservation with him, and he joked that there wasn't an additional charge for the reservation lol. As I left, the owner smiled at me again and thanked me for coming in, something that never happened at the other barber. Everyone at Dalajas made me feel welcome, wanted, and appreciated. It was literally the best experience. Today, I just had my hair cut again, by David of course and with a reservation, and it was another great experience and another great cut! I'm so glad I found an amazing barber at an incredible shop! I'll be coming back here for a very long time, I'm sure. This place is amazing and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!! Give them a try, you'll be glad you did! I wish I could give them 10 stars because they're that good.

Every time I need a trim, I run to LAX Barber Salon. I just let Graciela know to clean me up around the edges and cut some off the top, since I sometimes grow my hair out until I get a fade. She leaves me looking and feeling great. This place is great for traditional men's haircuts, but they are always open to trying new things and above all delivering on what you ask for. I am always very specific and particular, but if there is something I don't mention, Graciela always asks for clarification or double checks you still want the same thing from your past visit. This is a place for everyone to go to, as my teen brother and my mom also go here for haircuts and coloring. While the prices are always great, I give her the amount other barbershops would charge me for the same thing because she's that good and deserves it!

I took my nephew there to get his haircut. I had never been there or heard of him. It was a walk in 1st come for serve. The Barber was really nice and did a great job on my nephew's hair. The haircut was reasonably priced for children. I would go there again and I would recommend him to anybody who wants a haircut.

Partner and I went in for a manicure and pedicure, has the best time. The staff were very friendly, gentle and professional. It went by quicker than expected, so much so that I wanted to stay a while more. In the mani pedi, a leg-foot, hand-arm massage is also included.

I come to this nail so long many many years ago actually about 25 to 30 years ago I was surprised to see that it was still here... Oh we got pedicures and my friend got a manicure and we were both happy with the outcome they were very thorough aninattentive and it was appreciated.
I went in as a walk in and was helped within about 10-15 minutes. I got the gentleman at the first station and I told him I wanted a milky pink and he recommended a pink powder acrylic that I absolutely LOVE! The shape and thickness of my nails is just right. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area.

I had an appointment with a hair salon in San Diego and I was going to LA. The place I had scheduled called to tell me they couldn’t do anything as they had a power outage. I called every salon in North county San Diego and couldn’t get anyone. I looked in the area I was going and the first to answer was Emma’s and she confirm that Diego could take me if I got there by 4 pm! I drove up and was greeted with kindness and respect. Diego did a wonderful job and I wish he was here in San Diego! I’ll probably drive up to LA just to have him care for my hair from now on!!! Super recommend him!!

Nikira really is THE best! I had bad ingrown hairs on my happy trail with scarring I didn't think was reversible. In a shorter time than I ever thought possible (between microchanneling with her and laser hair removal elsewhere), she was able to make it look like it never even happened. Now I'm onto my next journey with her as I've had acne and ingrowns on other parts of my body that she's working on. She's even been able to reverse some permanent makeup I've had some! 12/10 recommend her!!
My first time was yesterday and my experience was great! Kelly was very friendly and worked hard to keep me distracted from the pain since it was my first time sugaring. The new customer deal is also really good. It was quite painful because I hadn't gotten waxed in a year, and it was my first time sugaring, But it was over quickly and the results are supposed to last longer than waxing and my skin wasn't irritated or red after which was very surprising! I will definitely be returning.
I visited Amy for a facial nearly a week prior to writing this review. I'm delighted to report that it was one of the best facial experiences I had. She was friendly, professional, and punctual. I appreciated that she began with a consultation and really listened to my concerns. During our session, she offered information, telling me the active ingredients in the products she was using and how my skin was responding each step of the way. She also asked me how my skin felt to make sure I wasn't having a negative reaction. I was very pleased with the outcome! My skin was radiant and dewy afterwards. For all of these reasons, I signed up for a membership with her that very day.
Me and my wife went in earlier this week for matching Tattoos. This was one of the best tattoo experiences I've ever had and I've been tatted alot of times. We setup an appointment and he was very responsive in doing so. We got into our appointment and he was already working on our design. He went above and beyond to make sure that we had the perfect design. And the outcome was perfect. We're extremely happy. We had an absolutely wonderful experience here at Urban Ink yesterday! My fiancée and I were thrilled to find Urban Ink Gallery as we searched for a tattoo shop to do custom work for our anniversary. We were able to set up an appointment over Instagram DMs, but there's a Facebook booking tool as well, which is super convenient! We came into the shop expecting just a consult, but DeShawn and Don Louie were available to tattoo us on the spot! The whole process was not only super comfortable, but we felt a warm, extravagant welcome from start to finish. Both artists' prices were *extremely* fair, and the tattoos look GREAT. Urban Ink Gallery will absolutely be our new go-to spot for all of our tattoo needs! I want to note that the space was super clean and upscale while still being very home-y and welcoming. The art on the walls and throughout the shop is absolutely gorgeous. We even got to talk about music quite extensively (check out the AMAZING mural of Black musical legends right next to the door). I honestly want to go back just to hang out here with these amazing artists and people! Just one more reason to ponder new tattoo ideas! Quick note: they do walk-ins and piercing! I've used Morningside Plumbers a couple of times in the past few years. They've always been very reliable and professional. I called them last week to help with my garbage disposal. They were able to schedule me quickly. Gilbert & Oscar showed up on time and addressed the problem promptly.
Oscar showed up promptly and early on a holiday and was very fast and professional. He did a great job replacing our shower valve after running into problems DIYing a cartridge replacement. He was able to work with my old house and do a fantastic job in a short amount of time letting my family finally use our water again. Amazing service, Aviv installed a keypad lock and 2 deadbolt locks for me! Three locks total plus key cutting. Price was extremely fair. We were done the work in less than a few hours. He met when I was available which was very helpful. The lock install was smooth and he walked me through the keypad lock! No mess after the job, also a little thing that really helps as I was short on time. The absolute best part is they have everything on site in their truck, deadbolts, keypad locks, key cutting , you name it! I have called other locksmiths and this is the first time I was able to do everything on the spot! I highly recommend this key company for any lock needs any time of day! Toddco saved our property. We had a bad experience with a tree trimming company that destroyed 25 years growth of two banks of tress on the side and front of our property. The bad trimmer also mangled the main Ficus in the center of our yard. The front trees were so traumatized by the damage (they were chain-sawed to their trunks), a virus attacked and we couldn't save them. Toddco stepped in and basically started from scratch. Philip redesigned our garden. The presentation was great -- he gave us a booklet showing all the different plants he would use and where he would put them. First, Toddco removed the front trees (no small matter since there were about 18 huge Ficus trees next to the sidewalk). Then he replaced them with about 13 Podocarpus trees. Each new tree was about 8' in height, so it was a major planting. Toddco put in a new drip irrigation system throughout the property, completely replanted our front garden and the planters that line the house, reshaped the main Ficus, and replanted the strip on the sidewalk near the street. In addition, Toddco repotted three major The results are beautiful. Philip is a gifted landscape architect. Not only is the design gorgeous, the workmanship is immaculate. The sidewalk chipped because Toddco had to use a stump grinder to remove the large Ficus roots, so Toddco fixed the sidewalk and it looks great. When the planting was complete, they power washed the concrete. The work was done very quickly and without any inconvenience to us. Actually, they bent over backwards to accommodate our timing. Because of work deadlines, we hadn't had time to pick out our deck planters. When we received short notice that an important client would be visiting, we rushed to get the planters and Toddco rearranged their schedules to make sure our trees were planted and the deck was finished in time for our client's visit. Truly an amazing company with a fabulous product and wonderful customer service. We're now arranging to have Toddco do our maintenance to ensure the garden stays beautiful. And we don't have to water -- the new drip irrigation system takes care of everything automatically. We woke up one morning to a blue sign on our front strip saying that our water-conserving garden is awesome! Thank you, Toddco.
Rangel Landscapes did great work installing artifical turf and pavers in my backyard . They did a good job explaining how the work would be done and constantly kept me updated throughout the whole process .
We used Timberland to remove a very large queen palm. It was a nice experience. The palm was close to our house and I voiced my concerns about the fronds hitting my newly installed rain gutters. They assured me they would protect the house and they did. I was impressed by their skill and professionalism. They were fast and left the jobsite clean. The price was fair too. Very happy w/ their work and will definitely use them again.
I visited this dental office in Inglewood and was greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff. The doctors were also very kind. However, I won't be returning due to the poor upkeep of the office. The floors were stained, the dental equipment outdated, and the TVs didn't work. The men's restroom toilet needs to be replaced, and there were torn wallpaper and stained ceilings throughout. Additionally, the dental chairs were torn, and the X-ray equipment looked like it was from 1995. It's a shame because this could be the perfect dental office if it were updated.
A great experience overall!! The staff is super friendly and the Dr, very sweet, funny and gentle. I will definitely be coming back and bringing my family.

My dental visit with New Image dental is always great. Dr. Caraballo is very accommodating to all his patients he makes sure that his patients is always on their best condition. He also makes sure that all the problems are being taken care of. The front staff and back staff are really approchable and all willing to help whatever concerns the patients have.
