“This doctor is very experienced and naturally brilliant and that’s important for your furry family member. His staff are friendly and very professional. The office is very charming and really clean. I’ve been here twice already and would highly recommend Caring Hospital. Carl, ? ? says: “YES!”“
“I know that my fur kid is in good hands with Randy whenever I travel. From cowering in the car and having to be “dragged” into the facility during his first visit, he now hops out of the car and wanders in on his own accord. Randy has been nothing less than a godsend for my nervous little boy. Also really appreciate the cute video updates that I receive from time to time!“
“We recently went on a cruise and had Woof watch our yorkie for 10 days. She is very tiny and just turned one about two weeks ago so I was very concerned about leaving her. I trusted the good reviews on Yelp and boarded her at Woof. I am so glad I trusted the reviews on here. They took such good care of her. They updated me daily with photos so that I could see that she was doing well! They gave her a bath (it's extra but worth it) before I picked her up so she smelled nice and clean. She had a great time at Woof. I would definitely use them again! Thanks Woof for taking such good care of our little girl!“
“Doggy Lama and their staff are *the best* and Emily in particular has been a lifesaver. We have an elderly cat with health issues, and she recently became ill while we were out of the country. Emily got her to an urgent vet appointment, picked up meds, administered them twice a day, and scheduled extra visits to make sure she was recovering -- it could have been a nightmare but Emily made it totally manageable and reassured us with texts and (beautiful!) photos throughout the process. She truly cares for our cat, and we know when we're away she's in excellent hands. We've been using Doggy Lama for three years and have had nothing but lovely experiences.“
“Susy and Dina are amazing. Our pups love going there: they play all day, get a lot of love and pets and come home happy and tired. They are never locked in a cage like in those "fancy" hotels. It's like home away from home...“
“They are great... very nice people and it's very affordable All my dogs are registered and already have an account. They are all up to date on their shots/vaccinations. I got them chipped there as well. I highly recommend Cheap Shots“
“Karin is amazing! She is a true dog whisperer and extremely diligent/ knowledgeable AND hilarious fun throughout the whole process. Our puppy is a rescue with some real issues, she was honest and frank about who he is and provided a path forward. We are forever grateful for her care and support, without her training and mentorship we may not have been equipped to keep our pup. Thank you!!“
“I'm so pleased to be able to update this review from 2010. How time flies! Our dear Penny whom Shasta helped us with back then passed away in 2015. We started working with Shasta again in 2017 when we got our new pup, a border collie rescue. He came to us emaciated and poorly socialized, needing love and positive experiences to bring him out of his shell. Shasta gave us much-needed training advice, and from there her staff started walking Hugo on group walks, which he's done once a week since 2018. He enjoys these walks so much; they provide wonderful socialization experiences. All the treats and training in the world can get a dog so far, but a strong adult with a great pack really helps with confidence-building and calm. Hugo walks with Toni, who send us pictures of him each week with his crew. I can tell that Hugo is happy with Toni and his pack: as we release him to the car (to maintain social distancing), our pup who usually does not like to leave my side will happy run down the stairs to greet him and hop in the car! Shasta also runs Puptown for boarding. We've only needed this service once, but having been in there and knowing Shasta for so many years, I know that this would be a great resource as well. It has been a pleasure seeing Shasta grow this business for over a decade, and watch it continue to provide the same excellent service it did in the beginning. If you need training support, especially with difficult dogs, a weekly walking group, or more, Bow Wow is a great choice. Review from 2010 I love Shasta. She has walked our dog for well over a year. She been amazing. We have worked with four dog walking companies, and Shasta is a cut above. As a handler, Shasta knows dogs and dog behavior. We switched to her when we were having some behavioral problems with our dog at home, especially after walks. Shasta worked closely with Penny and we've seen huge improvements in her behavior. Last year our dog needed surgery; Shasta worked with us on her rehab, and continues to be conservative with her play to ensure that she stays strong. As a business person, Shasta has been great. She handled our initial interview, paperwork, and invoicing professionally. We LOVE her daily dog walk "reports"--these little report cards let us know how our dog was feeling, what she did, and (sorry for the detail) even if and how she pooped! Who could ask for more? Our dog loves Shasta, responds well to her, and behaves well at home after a walk with her. That's what matters most.“
“Our German Shepherd Doggy, Bamboo, had a wonderful experience with Keri at the Bishop Drive location. He learned so much and even got a few new girlfriends in the process. We started with Puppy School 1 and will continue next week with Puppy School 2. Ian Dunbar, the founder of Sirius Puppy and Dog Training, trained our 1st German Shepherd Doggy, Bruno, 30 years ago. His method of positive reinforcement is THE most effective training method, bar none. Ian also consulted with us when we purchased a 7.5 month old pedigreed GSD, Red Buttons, who was not socialized. In no time, Red Buttons responded to the training and lived out a 13-year wonderful life with lots of travel, socializing with both people and other dogs. All of the instructors that we have come in contact with at Sirius make dogs a number 1 priority in their lives. It was obvious to us that Keri really liked Bamboo and really enjoyed her job. She had lots of great ideas about training and was never too busy to help me with specific needs we had. We would never go anywhere but Sirius!!“
“Currently taking classes at K9 Sniffers in San Leandro. Steve B (the trainer) is great, and more importantly patient with my sometimes overly active dog.The class has helped my dog become calmer and less anxious. Dogs really enjoy this activity which requires the use of their bodies and there minds. Any breed of dog can participate. Awesome class.“
“Patti with Oh Behave Dog Training is truly a dog whisperer. I sent my dog to her from CO for a board and train for obedience and aggression. She took such good care of my baby, and he is now a well-trained and well-behaved dog. I also spent a few days with her when I picked him up, so that she could train me on what I was doing right and wrong, in order to help him succeed. That was also important, and super helpful, I learned so much from her. She also continues to follow up, even after the training, and is more that willing to help with any questions. I 100% made the right decision in hiring her. She is the best, and has an abundance of dog behavior knowledge.“
“I highly recommend Mod Cat Hotel for boarding your Cat. My fur baby Coco has never been away from home for my trips but this particular trip was too long to have her home alone--10 days. Kathleen was prompt in her responses and took the best care of my baby. Kathleen sent me pictures throughout Coco's stay and kept me up to date on her eating pattern. I would definitely be placing by baby there again on my next extended trip. Look no further. Thank you Kathleen!“
“Our dog has been boarded at Dog Balancing owned by Terry twice now, each time for over 2 weeks. We couldn't be happier with the experience and will continue boarding our dog with Terry and are grateful for Terry providing great care to our dog and sharing with us science-backed evidence and advice for dog care 1. Communicating and coordinating with Terry is super easy and straightforward. With years in dog care business, Terry has established a routine that works for everyone and he does leave room for the unexpected and give you enough flexibility 2. Terry takes really nice mugshots of all the dogs and posts on the dog balancing Facebook page here: facebook.com/p/Dog-Balan… so you get to see your baby when you are away (not daily posts, but honestly, you don't want to leave your baby at a place that you had to check on him/her all the time)3. Terry regularly posts scientific papers and educational reads about dog care on the Facebook page. We find this information incredibly useful and have implemented some changes into our dog's daily routine. Terry's extensive experience as a certified dog trainer and behaviorist shines through. 4. Dog care is getting really expensive and unaffordable in the Bay Area. Terry, with years of experience in the business and presumably many returning customers, could have asked for higher rates, but that is not the case. In fact, Terry has kept the rate very reasonable. This is a huge relief for us since we typically had to board our dog for a longer period of time (typically 3-4 weeks) when visiting extended families oversees, which means the rates accumulate quickly to an amount that you start regretting having a dog. We were so happy and again relieved that our dog can stay at a comfortable, safe and affordable place without the stress of traveling. 5. Most importantly, our dog has always returned from Terry's place happy and unchanged, which reassures us of the excellent care provided. Note for dog parents concerned about crates: We have seen a couple of dog trainers as our dog grow up - they all told us the same thing - a crate is and should be used as a safe place for dogs. Terry does call that out before boarding to make sure you and your dog are comfortable with the dog staying in a crate when they are not active“
“My dogs absolutely love going here for both day care and boarding. So happy we found this spot.“
“I've been bringing my pets to Bishop Ranch for almost 10 years. Cats, dogs of all sizes. I do notice a lot of turnover with their staff but the service I get is always superior. Today I brought my 9 month old kitten in to their urgent care clinic because she had been vomiting repeatedly for hours. We were taken back immediately and Elle was examined. The vet was Dr Crisp and she was very friendly and thorough. She gave me the information I needed without talking down to me or leaving out any details. My kitten was assessed and treated and is now home feeling better. I've taken my other cat here when he had an abscess form an entire month after I had adopted him from the shelter. I had brought him first to VEG and they found/drained the abscess but then sent my poor cat home with a gaping, oozing wound on his back and no medication. I brought him to Bishop Ranch the next day and he got the surgery he needed, a drain tube placed and the correct pain meds and antibiotics. He spent two weeks in a cone but he healed very well and is fine now. Again the vet and all staff were very kind courteous and professional. My only complaint is they are often booked out for weeks but that is what happens when you're the best, I suppose. Highly recommend.“
“I was referred to this Veterinarian hospital last year after many disappointing visits to other vets. This pet hospital really cares for my dog, Daisy, and provides the service I was hoping for. This Vet Hospital cares more about the pets and saving animals more than overcharging and taking advantage of emotional clients. Everyone I met and spoke with was considerate, professional, and put the well-being of my dog before anything else. I would highly recommend this Veterinarian Hospital to anyone and Dr. Goraya, and the Staff, is amazingl!!!!“

“Whenever I need a groom and wash for my husky, I always come here! This dog sheds a lot and getting a haircut before summer is always key to cool her down.“
“We went to Redwood Animal Hospital on advice from a friend who recommended them in our time of need for our 5 year old female dog who has been diagnosed with a C-Tumor and we were in a panic looking for a Vet who was familiar that type of Tumor! They were wonderful and explained everything that would happen & told us to not expect all of the answers until the surgery was complete! We are Concerned, but believe we are in the right place!“
“I brought my shih tzu Pops into be groomed by Katie today and he looks beautiful! He went in a mess and came out a model lol. He smells great & has a cute bandana. He had a bath, nails trimmed, full haircut & style. He was happy and so was I ! I highly recommend Katie for your grooming needs.“
“Dr Buddy and her team has taken great care of our dog Lola since she was a puppy. We appreciate and love them very much! I would highly reccomend.“
